Premium Member The Sanctuary's Unsafe Passage

That kiss parted lips
like Moses parted the Red Sea
and all the Love in words and deeds
walked out of the darkness
of a cavernous domain
the inner Everest rising
between the time of drowning
the mind climbed
the tongue rolled out
like a red velvet carpet
delivering unsafe passage
into the Heart’s silky sanctuary

Sanctuary: Be Safe In An Unsafe World. 2010.

watch the body count grow
when tiny tots near the t.v.
turn and ask you: "Why?!" ....
check your gun, pet your shepherd,
lock your doors and watch them sleep

An Unsafe Bed Bank

A fool thought inside his head
His money's safe inside his bed
Until one day it's repossessed
Now all his thoughts he regrets
But the new owners having fun
With the new "lottery" she's won

Premium Member The Abstract World

Scam and hacking are common
As well as fake votes in canvassing
As well as the pursuit of happiness
All are abstract and spiritual
We live in a world of abstraction
Insafety and uncertainty
Even if we have a lot of money
We cannot buy happiness
Cannot discard sadness
And our possessions are subject to Scam and hacking
And our votes in hands
May not work
Oh
We live years
To find only this cruel fact
Of our once lovely world

Premium Member Unsafe For Dragons

One day a dragon set out in flight;
Up towards New York, he did alight.
Landing in the middle of Times Square;
He quickly did become aware;
That some people he had scared;
Now his tail’s a tire tracked sight!

Unsafe

A screaming void hungrily tears me within
Fervent in claiming my complete sanity
In rending the heart of me it's worn the shell thin
And the truth just beneath starts to show within me
Reason for closeness with others to be bereft
Protected from the shadowy monsters I see
Reasoning in my sole bit of sanity left
Hold not who I may love for the darkness is me

Unsafe

Her accusations had taken their toll
The fights were hostile and neverending
He endured the abuse everyday
Sadly, it became the norm
He was breaking
He was becoming a shell of a man
Beaten down by the woman he thought he loved
Soon, he would be almost unrecognizable
One night, the fight was off the charts
She grabbed him by the collar
He couldn't take it anymore
She demanded an answer
He didn't have one that was satisfactory
The moment she laid her hands on him
He knew
The only way out was to leave
So he did

I Feel Unsafe

When I am abnormal,
I write poetry,
I have only a tool,
To satiate my crying soul.

When a person feels helpless,
He seeks someone’s kind treatment,
So he can recover himself,
That’s why encouragement is need.

Few people are lucky,
Who have someone that understands them,
Their shares provide them energy,
To knocked down a problem.

I am worry because I feel unsafe,
Although I am standing at the top,
My voice is reversing to me,
But after that forest is totally calm.

Unsafe Ii

Where have you gone, horrid man?
I cannot escape your invisible eyes
I am grateful for my sisters protection
Yet I still feel uneasy
Looking around corners before entering
Where have you gone, horrid man?
I am thankful for my past self for not wearing the skirt I chose
The previous day

Unsafe District For Cops Strict

Meant enquires consequent
On ken Sampson The Eloquent
Wishing now to himself acquaint
With the conflicts that were frequent,
Where his people are domiciled,
Currently to odds reconciled,
So that he might about them speak
And The Still-Kept Hidden leak…

In the darkest drain slain body,
Not long traced to B Goodie
By some folks loved for being civil
But by their Union ruled ‘Evil’:
To all Good Remarks had sniveled
And on Grave Issues had driveled
Some see A Demon just vanquished
He wouldn’t have Swipes relinquished
 Goodie’s killer is distinguished:
Has Satan’s Fire extinguished!...

Ken has The Final Picture grabbed
Slain Goodie was tortured, first nabbed!
Ken would treat not ‘Emergency
From Juvenile’s Delinquency:
This is about Unsafe District;
Every cop to wear a face strict…

Unsafe

Horrid man in Walmart
Slobbering over a 16 year old girl
Licking your teeth like a rabid dog about to make the kill
Your teeth are nonexistent
My panic is the opposite of your teeth

Unsafe Bedroom

Into the damp room things creep.
So, in it no one should sleep,
Young girls asked to do so weep,
Ruth awake all night: scared heap,
Thrice did fearfully leap,
A better room: an open jeep.

Into the vileroeom snakes slid:
Two short black ones there soon hid!
You don't ask "what inmate did."
Won't you room farewell bid?

Rape Rocks

Amidst the turmoil of running feet
Vile words instead of flowers under trees
Poison flooding homes
An under-age girl half naked is found on the street.
She stumbles on rickety knees
This ageless is still in the womb
Years end and re-start
For her no more than 6 years have passed.
The shirt reaches no further than her navel
A swollen perched on wasted legs
She staggers towards the traffic to beg
She has lived as if for a 100 years.
A lurching corpse
Unable to hold the weight of her
Trying to feed herself in a world that feasts on flesh.

Premium Member boy with an unsafe homelife

his defiant attitude was obstreperous
misbehavior unheard of and unseen in the sixties
other third-graders stared at him in disbelief
wondering what was wrong with him
not realizing he was begging for interference
help that was never coming
tired of extra conferences
his parents pulled their eight-year-old out of school
not unheard of back in the day
they kept him at home
where he should have been safe
but had never been safe even as a toddler
he was reported missing a year later
after a teacher called to check on him.
