Unearthed the Dead
Bloody mess,

of the pith creating a teeming mulch.

Adam had fallen asleep yet again.
the overripe grapes fermenting in his guts
turning to drunken snores.

It was the flood...

Not gold or gem, but knowledge true,
A hidden spark, just waiting for you.
Through dusty pages, paths we pave,
Each step is a question, wisdom we crave.

Like buds unfurling, we take flight,
Learning's sun, a wondrous light.
Thoughts take shape, like sculptor's art,
Ignorance left, lost to the heart.
