When will these eyes be blessed to surely see
A moments scene uncast to me before
Lights last flicker yet born to be of thee
Could but dare to love you all the more

From far beyond pray hold a tender heart
That beats forever in your loving care
In hope that treasured memories are part
Of love's contentment one could but only share

I will live in truth whilst with one thought
My life's sure wealth I could no less have seen
No greater measure with such treasure bought
Than love touched by God with this hope to glean

No one dare claim this love before
Nor shall it be shared for evermore

The Long Race

Live life as if today is the last,
In a lane with only one speed-fast,
With a direction of your own to become someone,
A twist of hope and faith will get the job done.
With different sounds that flies from ear to ear,
The sounds boom to the beat with fear,
To give a hit with a meaningful symbol,
Pounding in one’s head to a beat to making a heart feel full,
So we all become full on the green paper we call money,
But remember, in the wrong hands it can tear like a joke so funny.
Use this as a reality check,
‘Cuz little poems like this is like a car wreck.
A car wreck where your life flashes before,
Giving you a direction to another world, another door.
As the bigger picture starts to rush towards us,
Thinking fast is the only way, but feels as a rush.
A rush to make choices and become someone or just be another face,
Just don’t make the mistake to give up in a race.
The race has a beginning and an end,
With one heart to either pull through-or turn around the bend.
Where do you want to stand at the finish line?
With your head laying on your resting bed,
Being that person with only words that were said?
Or having that heart and accomplished dreams to be remembered when you’re
gone.
A big thing to remember is it’s the deep words that can bring out the best or worst
in one.
And the basics of how we live is up to you,
No matter what your past is or if you’re looked from others eyes as a fool.
Take that step of hope and faith and use the key we all hold,
And never let someone take it or ask for the key to be sold,
‘Cuz once behind those chains of wrecks and the past,
The locks become heavy with more master keys to uncast.
Only those who don’t give into the hardship of the rock,
Will become that someone to the world of our own,
And even then well have haters that don’t want you to be shown.
Shown because of talent, hard work, and a heart so fresh and strong,
And don’t listen to anyone who tells you you’re wrong,
Wrong for taking that step into the reality of having a big dream,
With the spot light coming down on you like the sunshines beam.
So all that’s said it can be you,
No matter how far through life you’ve gone you can make it through,
Opening the chains that have buried a known face,
Make it so you’re steps away from winning life-the long race.

Premium Member Temptress

Oh, my sweet temptress of the night, with dazzling diamond smiles,
A haze, a darkness thou has cast over these childish eyes.
Bewitching, beguiling your webs are spun like heavy curtains on my brow, spew lies and evil from thine lips,
Like honey waterfalls.

Rapid torrents of deception flowing from your breast,
sweet nectar spread around your legs.
The honey vile.
Perfidious acts you are tarnished now,
Lift heavy drapes of velvet from my mind, uncast the spell so I can see
The treachery of your heart.

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

The Unholy One

Rays of the sun reflected my sinful image on a blood river
got every wrongful part of me to quarrel and shiver
happiness is what i sought, remorse is for givers
every natural-colored spot ON my heart turned silver

Inspiration was my fantasy, clouds were my sky
death scares me,yet i desire it, desire to die
was it shame? shame that i see with blinded eyes
never saw glittered water, ON the surface of the sun they hide

What did i do so wrong?! for God to choose me a sinner
the horizon line infront of my dead soul's corpse got thinner
even the power of nature couldn't uncast HIS deadly glamour
my wish in life was to win yet i lost, never been a winner

Life has tightened its strains on that poor heart of mine
Did I? did i indeed have a heart? to feel how LOVE could be so divine
but yet , all my sins were purified, by the scene of the horizon line
taught me that at times, forgiveness , was the crime of all crimes

Grandeur i did not seek, i realized, it was only a fake wish
a gesture to my undecided inner-self,with hidden pureness so rich
recently knew how heart pain was nothing like a normal stitch
If Jesus Christ u believed, then how could you my other cheek ditch?

For if you felt it at its peak, you would have utterly known
that DEATH was your close friend, and I pushed him away to the unknown
you wouldn't have given me those looks, those ocean-roars,those frowns
if only you knew how much i begged the clouds , "thee not ,at her, throw stones"

then you would have saved my soul , saved our sacred vow , saw our blond sons
shared the feeling of bliss and GRANDEUR with your love, the unholy one !!

Everyone thinks you cast a spell on me.
I did not say the words that bind, you did.
As you whispered them into the atmosphere.
You tied our souls together.
Not I.
You know the risks you where taking when you entered into my lair.
You rekindled a fire.
Raised a passion that wanted to be forgotten.
You unchained a dragon.
Released the magic.
Felt it stir the air.
You thought your magic to be strong.
Your spell to bind me for a lifetime.
Oh how wrong.
When we parted I did not fall apart.
For you should know a dragon will never leave her heart.
Never giving it all away.
My craving for you is fading.
My desires dwindling.
A longing for you disappearing.
I taught you how to touch.
How to caress.
Where to settle sweet kisses that would ignite.
Making love in ways you will not forget.
So now beware.
You know my magic to be stronger than yours.
Your spell has been uncast.
Now it bounces ten times three on thee.
Your heart.
Your soul still craves me.
You have been rewarded.
You have joined the ranks within my muses.
The soul heart you think you captured will never be.
To be my gate keeper.
To be the one that holds my key.
My Knight must be one in three.

By Half

The mold has broken,
our future uncast

The best of remembrance,
severed in half

Trust In Love

trust in love, and always
listen to the beat of our wings
in the free wind.
love is not weak, nor like
uncast iron.
look not to blood nor muscle
for the secret of its strength.
love is not so easily surrendered.
love is not so easily discovered.
love is not so easily engendered.
love is not so easily uncovered.

Lockdown 2020

First off, i would like to get out, that I'm far from a poet, yet i have so very much to say,
There it is again, a heavy load circulating around my mind, my heart is yelling out so very loudly, yet proudly, i must express my emotions out this way,
How do i put down in words, how unstable lockdown 2020 has affected me, i can not understand this bizarre behaviour myself,
I crave for you to reach deeply inside my mind, so that you could see,
A dull feeling inside, a soul destroyer, no where to hide,
The most lonely place,
No one who truly understands, as you can see within their tearful face,
If only i could inspire the devil, to uncast his wicked spell,
And to instead embrace humanity, with love, peace and for all to be well,
Like how do you tell you sweet innocent babies, that time has changed for the worse,
That the devil is sadly upon us showering us all with his curse,
How do we live life now,
Living in tremendous fear,
The unfortunate outbreak of this virus,
That has gotten far to near,
Well life goes on, but what do we do,
Prey and hope so very hard,
Big love to all of you.

Waiting On Forever

Winter days take hold
keeping us hostage to the chill and cold
in forgotten youth of early spring
 leaves us only time on which to cling;
the shadows dark and gray
inch thru the windy rain and snow at play
with quick slow passing of the new year day,
 when celebrations rose and fell
 in dropping of the ball into the year-end well;
stay a moment, sit and reminisce
recall the earlier times now missed
 when love and adventure reigned
beneath the sun's cold warm games
 and everyone knew our history and our names;
now, slowly slipping into the past
 our futures remain uncast
and youth and adult games fade
 in forgotten plans once made
 waiting patient in the disappearing parade;
hold tight, don't let go
soon enough the time will flow
and in the light or the shadows of the night
we each will bid goodbye and farewell
to the waiting on forever of life's spell/

Fantasy Escapes

No clock can lay claim
  to the moment untimed

Though hands finely set
  still a mystery divine

Each tick plays a cadence
  to what is now past

But what of the future
  its measure uncast

We plot and record it
  hours, minutes, they chime

As all fantasy escapes
  —this delusion of time

Premium Member Hateful Thoughts

A hateful dance, a twisted reel,
Where judgment's call is sharp as steel.
'You people' stare, with eyes so cold,
A chilling tale, a story told
Of hateful thoughts, a whispered blight,
And hateful words, both dark and tight.

Judging looks, a silent scorn,
'Do you think you are my god, born
To judge me, tear me limb from limb?
Are you any better, within?'

Gossip's breath, a serpent's hiss,
Behind my back, a cruel abyss,
To tell me I am not enough,
A poisoned dart, a bitter bluff.

Should you be allowed to cast your stones,
Upon a soul that's flesh and bones?
To tear me down, to make me bleed,
When your own flaws you fail to heed?

No, let the dance of hate subside,
Let empathy become your guide.
For in the end, we're all the same,
Beneath the mask, we all whisper his name.

We all deserve a gentle hand,
A chance to rise, to understand.
So let the stones remain uncast,
And let compassion be our own.

I contemplate the bobber on the water.
It is as still as a friend’s prayer at meeting.
Connected to this moment by monofilament
I sit as if I were asleep.

A gust of north wind roils the surface
into ridges. In the furrow
the bobber dances, dances,
dropping its seed into the darkness
perhaps to lure forth one more wish,
one more harvest from the mystery
before I lose the day’s last light.

As suddenly as the wind came upon me
it dies. Placidity prevails, a perfect crust
of ice on new fallen snow at dawn
untouched by even an insect’s wing.
The bobber is still again
as still as prayer again
Retrieve. . . retrieve . . . a small voice
urges me, unfed need dueling with sense,
to cast again, to cast again.
but I am wearier than I thought
and it is accident time, accident time.
The uncast line is better, much better.
There is something hungry in the water.

Catch 22

The beginning
of the end
The end
of the beginning
To look
and not see
A desperate
path

To start
what can’t finish
Destroying
tomorrow
When eyes
remain closed
The future
— uncast
