There is no difference,
the saints whisper and every enemy and ally
wake to forever’s difference,
that neither knee nor tongue will deny.

Doubt bit into Innocence and sold
the first coffins wrapped in pride.
Creation became a seed – a box filled twofold,
when under silt, Eden died.

Secular tides engulf their last season
to bury God and Baal,
synthetic rainbows enlighten treason
fulfills the fool’s tale.

Escape suffering to bend
love to an abstract sum.
Detached absurdity when
a false bliss is done.

Not enough of Earth’s blood
to sustain paved veins,
a technological flood
of isotopes and labor pains.

Fiat economies root for
the drug and gun,
made the bomb’s core
hotter than the sun.

infusions of contraband’s revenue
numbs the inconvenience of sin.
A dream’s fence became headstones ensue,
declared wars we can’t afford to win.

Seeded skies less blue to breathe,
the incense of death and device,
ivory towers babel and seethe,
lies spoil the last grains of paradise.

One rich man though licked by the flame,
still sees Lazarus as a servant and to those
who tear Christ off the Cross to make him the same,
Judas still hangs in the shadows.

Premium Member Empty Nests

Those happy, golden years, the children growing up...
great days of joy, some tears, sweet nectar in our cup.
So blessed the three of them had come to fill our life;
each one a special gem...years spent with little strife.

Oh my, those years went fast...so soon an empty nest.
Can’t hold on to the past, for sure, those years were blessed.
The empty nest took hold, such quiet filled our days.
Kids followed dreams of gold...we lifted them in praise.
We filled our days with friends and came and went as pleased.
Life changes as it lends the time to feel appeased.

Few years went by, behold! A second chance to spend
   our time again to hold small babes, with joy attend;
to love and cherish each, and watch them grow each day,
to play with them, and teach! What joy had come our way!

Time passed…grandkids of five, no longer babes for sure,
have learned their way to thrive, now grown up and mature.
Again, the years went fast...another time to test...
can’t hold on to the past. Oh my, those years were blessed!
Our empty nest, twofold! Such quiet fills our days!
They too chase dreams of gold...we lift them now in praise!

We celebrate with cheers the cherished life we spent...
two times of golden years...with young ones, heaven-sent.

What’s it take for women to hate
their first born so long and so cold?
Sly smiles as he choked on the bait.
You sat in that one church so bold,
Blind and deaf to Love’s story told.
Among serpents in pews hearts won,
you died unbroken, mute and sold,
in how you treated your own son.

A father’s heart chipped out of slate.
Your measure given is twofold,
to regret forever too late,
brimstones are all that’s left to hold.
Your neglect was poured and it rolled
eighty-three years under the sun.
The Great White Throne decree behold,
in how you treated your own son.

How his innocence you both ate,
An orphan made in constant scold.
No mercy in your ways or fate.
In Matthew you read he foretold,
hypocrite’s wages to be tolled .
The grave’s sleep keeps remorse undone,
your legacy as I grow old,
in how you treated your own son.

If I am to breathe Heaven’s air,
your first grandson, when life is done,
I don’t expect to see you there,
in how you treated your own son.

Premium Member Eos - Call of the Dawn

On the seventh ray
Of the fourteenth sun
Death hath come twofold
Arose a Titan in this age
Amidst this nimbus looms darkness
Betwixt the ash and sage

Approach cyclical ritual
Dousing wings in feral flames
Latent gravidity does surmise
For upon my resurrection
Eos I shall rise

Premium Member A Great Unease

A great unease has come, quite slow to flee.
To some it brings woe twofold. Constantly,
I feel its breath upon me though I pray
to see it gone. Instead, it’s wont to stay -
infecting me with insecurity.

And if it were a thing that we could see,
an albatross I’d guess that it would be -
with feathers changed from white to dingy grey. . .
a great unease.

This fretful thing that smells of misery
has spread its wings and grows relentlessly.
I sensed it in my land the fateful day
twin towers fell and blue sky turned to grey.
Events since spiraled, leaving not just me. . .
a great unease.

Premium Member The Weight of Strings

I walk dangling, a puppet in a shadow-play,
Dragging along old strings I can't unravel.
Tied to the scars and promises I've made,
Along the way to get here as, I am.
The strings on limbs, twitch my intentions,
Wrenching my will to veer their way — not mine.

My heart aches, knowing who's pulling the strings,
But there is too much at stake to sever them.
How can I choose, when I’m snared this way,
Bridled, and bound to strings I can't reject.
I'm a puppet twofold - I can't cut the strings.

Some knots held tight through joy and pain,
Others snapped, then retied themselves again.
I am swayed by the grief required to end this thing
Locked and bound underneath the weight of strings.

The Garden of Life

The most beautiful
thing, sing the
birds
Gorgeous as the
sound. around the
crashing of waves
That morning tweet,
sweet as apple
crumble
The wren , the
robin, bobbin his
head, on a quest for
worm juicy

The squirrel racing
the fence, hence
some other beat him
to the nuts
Two at a time he
takes, stakes his
claim twofold
Off across the
grass, class act as
he scales that tall
garden gate with
ease
He will be back,
sack of monkey nuts,
he knows I have

The hedgehog
shuffling through
the vinca major,
wager he too, is
after a worm or two
Fantastic vision for
one so short of
sight, night time
darkness is when he
is king
He is being watched
by the cat, that is
normal but the cat
keeps his distance
Hedgehog is a
formidable foe to
puss, thus, the wide
berth of respect

The ants are
marching to an fro
along the same
trail, hail the
source of food
discovered
Spilt sugar and
crumbs of cake, take
it slowly bit by bit
until it is gone
A wonderful society
of harmony and one,
gone in four weeks,
a short life span
All work and no fun,
sun is coming up,
time to go
underground

I return to my seat
of garden
observation, nation
of insects, ants,
wasps and so
All getting on with
the business of do,
who would have
thought
Its a small world
true, through the
back door
The most beautiful
thing, sing the
birds

Premium Member The Happy Children

Since fall, they’ve stayed where they had first been put
away from human view beneath the earth.
Through chill of winter, longing to take root,
they lie, dear tender babes, awaiting birth.

Snow melts into the ground and down comes rain.
The unborn infants hear the pattering
and feel the warmth when Sun, aroused again,
shines brightly forth to welcome sister Spring.

Their lovely colored heads all in a row
emerge by end of March from Mother’s womb.
How fleet the time each child then takes to grow.
How brief the span of each sweet Tulip’s bloom!

Each year reborn, they’re twofold. . . mourn them not.
More’s the merrier. . . they’re a happy lot!

When Fate Decides

When fate decides to bring you love
Look to the sky and thank the stars above
Your love is an amazing gift that money can't buy
May your marriage always be like the fourth of July

Hold tightly to each other and never let go
Nourish your love and make it grow
Be spontaneous, be silly and laugh a lot
Let no one ever undo your love knot

Never go to bed frustrated or upset
Communicate to ward off any threat
Storms will brew; the key is to ride them out
Patience and forgiveness is what love is about

Value your time together like it is gold
Happiness received will be twofold
Respect and be honest with one another
Give each other space; do not smother

Prioritize and keep each other at the top of your list
When apart tell the other how much they're missed
In no way should you take each other for granted
Always remember why you both became enchanted

Gold Pile

There once was a joy to behold,
A glorious pile of gold,
But the riches were cursed
Making folks do their worst
So their gold pile would grow by twofold.

Weightless then, I tiptoe on sand
One to wonder on her strips of gold.
Naming each leaf that curls up to rest
Dressed in fabric of glossy  strands;

Bear No Rancor-- Charlieku

The hope for love,
O my heart--
share it.

The plan for peace,
O my mind--
strive for.

And, happiness
O my soul--
yearn for.

The hate you give,
Oh, comes back
twofold.

For happiness
love and peace,
Let's pray:

The God above
make mankind
hate free.

Archetype

The anointed Jesus comes with the Power of God
and the working of prophecy will he complete
he will trod the habitable beneath his feet
till the nations shall know that Jehovah be laud

All things spoken of him will come to pass
with a shout he will to earth descend
destroy all those who refuse to bend
with scepter of righteousness that will ever last

The bonds of unity are not easily broken
where two or more are gathered he will be there
the bonds of Love wherein we show we care
that you Love one another the command was spoken

In the beginning God made twain one
Jesus left his father to fetch home his bride
to teach her Love of God by example he died
for a twofold cord cannot be easily undone

To present her to the Father without blemish or spot
as gifts for the alter were their lives bought
for Faith Hope and Love and Truth have sought
to be released to freedom wherein slavery were caught

Teach me my Father for there is nothing here
all that we treasure and have come to know
instruction from heaven Jesus taught here below
no belief or rewards of the world hold we dear

By immersion are baptized unto deaths reformations
leaving behind the normal patterns of the nations
the personality of flesh and their occupations
and lifted by Life are formed unto new creations

God has set the archetypes and the example
wherein defection have become penitent for Life
to the Truth are married as examples of wife
filled by his spirit have become Gods Temple

The virgin bride dispenses her husbands teaching
that reformation of character and to Truth believing
unto the spiritual pattern of nature are receiving
so destruction the nations evade she is preaching

So we gaze into the heavens in the night
there your presence felt by heart sight
with awe for the powers that give us light
and discernment the difference wrong from right
