Tum

Aatish-e-junoon ki chingaari ho, beqaraar dil ka sukoon bhi
Androoni sard ki thandak ho, barf ko pighlaati maum bhi

Shab ki adhoori khwaab ho, sehar ka mukammal sapna bhi
Khayaali ek khooobsurat uljhan ho, suljhi hui haseen jawaab bhi

Premium Member Tommy Tum - Nursery Rhyme

A little lad named Tommy Tum,
just wouldn’t listen to his Mum.
He’d loudly play with other boys,
and wouldn’t put away his toys.

Around the house he’d beat his drum,
Tommy, Tommy, Tum-Tum-Tum.
Oh, how he loved to pound his drum,
Tommy, Tommy, Tum-Tum-Tum.

His father warned with a mean face:
“I make the rules inside this place.
If you don’t listen to your Mum,
I’ll have to spank you on the bum.”

So better listen to your Mum,
Tommy, Tommy, Tum-Tum-Tum!”
You think his eardrums would be numb?
Not Tommy, Tommy, Tum-Tum-Tum.

An energetic, cheerful child,
around the house he still ran wild.
But then when running up the stairs,
tripped on one of his Teddy Bears.

Poor Tommy tumbled on his rump,
down each step bouncing, bump-bump-bump.
Bumpety bump-bump, bump-bump-bump,
he hit the landing with a thump.

Then he began to cry and cry,
while fishing for some sympathy.
But weary Mum said with a sigh,
“you’re lucky that you didn’t die.”

“God punished you,” teased sister Suzy,
as he stood up feeling woozy.
“Now learn your lessons, Tommy Tum,
or else you will stay dumb-dumb-dumb.”

But Tommy, Tommy, Tum-Tum-Tum,
grew up that day with a bruised bum.
That year when Christmas came around,
the Little Drummer Boy was found.

Please Tommy, Tommy, Tum-Tum-Tum,
play for me pa rum pum-pum-pum.
Please Tommy, Tommy, Tum-Tum-Tum,
play your drum pa rum pum-pum-pum.

Premium Member Rum Tum Tiddle

Rum tum tiddle
You can fiddle
In the middle
Of the place where you piddle
In a skittle on the griddle

Rum tum tiddle
It's a brittle little riddle
As you tell your tarradiddle
And we beat a paradiddle
Every kid'll want to whittle
And watch you as you diddle
Mrs. Twiddle.

Can you hear the rhythm
The rhythm of a drum
It's easy to copy it
Tum Tum Tiddly, Tiddly Tum Tum

It is also easy
To imitate a bell
Tinkle TinkleTinkle
That goes very well

Also, you can Bang and Clang
Boom, Boom, Boom and Bong
That's not a bell of course
It sounds more like a Gong

A Flute is even easier
Just Toot, Toot, Toot, Toot
Everyone will cover their ears
And outside you'll have to scoot

A Tambourine is boring
All you have to do with it is shake
You would soon get tired of that
As it would make your poor arms ache

There's a lot of other instruments
You pluck and strum and blow
It would take a long time
For you to choose one so

There are just too many
For you to understand
And have to take lessons
To start playing in a band

Or play in an orchestra
That would be super good
Where every type of instrument
Plays music like it should

Yum-Yum For the Tum-Tum

Blueberries and plums:
fruit that is good for the gums,

This Tum Ain'T Big Enough For the Both of Us....

I like it when you play music
It means I can stretch my legs
Chill out to the latest sound

And if its just me and you Mummy
At least we are spared the spectacle
That is my daddy, dancing around

I get four square meals a day
And as for eating chocolate
Well, i am not one to make a fuss

But it's getting quite a squeese in here
Pretty soon one of us had better go
This tum ain't big enough for the both of us..

Have a little thought for me Mummy
Don't over do it
There are two of us in this situation

Please play by the birthing book
Feed, water and talk to your bump
And your tum a little consideration

My daughter thoughts, I presume in the womb..

Premium Member Rum-tum-tum

rum-tum-tum like a drum
full of emptiness; anticipatory
what shall I eat - food or zest?
I wait for the clang
rum-tum-tum like a drum
with brand new tires. tirelessly
I can wait for fresh and vinyl
for a good long song, like
rum-tum-tum like a drum
yet while I wait, I’ll eat
lettuce? avocados? or score
coffee cake to go with a lake
of caffeine intake. full of
rum-tum-tum like a drum
anticipatory hum of new wheels

Takta Hoon Tum Ko

Takta hoon tum ko, yeh dil behak jata hai
Tumhare jalwe mein jahan tham sa jata hai

Tumhari aankhon ki gehraayi mein doob jata hoon
Tumhari muskaan pe har dard bhool jata hoon

Tum chalti ho to hawa gungunane lagti hai
Tum bolti ho to khamoshi bhi jagti hai

Yeh dil tumhare lamss ki tamanna liye
Har lamha teri qurbat ki dua kiye

Magar tum door ho, yeh faasle kyun hain?
Yeh faaslon mein bhi mohabbat ke geet kyun hain?

Takta hoon tum ko, aur jeeta hoon tum mein
Tumhare khwabon mein, aur haqeeqat ke gum mein
