Best Thank Youday Poems
I'm so sorry I wrote late
I appreciate all my comments
I wish, my comments could be
Be supper, supper...
Fast
I'm a mother raising five
Wrote my first book, very proud
Boy that book took some work
Even got deleted, from it's brain
The day I went, to play
Writing forty thousand words, in four days
Wow
That's a big cloud
Man I know, I made a lot of mistakes
Oh, well
I just hope, it sells
This autobiography so true
One to bring many, on their knees
Then , I wanted my poems
I wanted these web-sites
I wanted the world to know my talent
But, but
It's so hard to say,
When I saw the mistakes in my first book
I wanted to grab a hook
Determine on walking away
Until the day I saw my comments
Comments from many, I don't know
Many reading my poems
Feeling my thoughts
Looking inside
Showing me , my pride
This pride as a writer
Hoping for the best
The best in my writing
The best of me
The me, hiding behind this screen
Hiding my thoughts
Afraid to, write my comments
Until the day
I sat a read
Read all my comments
Realizing I'm touching many souls
Understanding, we all make mistakes
But, if you mean it from the heart
Feel it in your soul
You shall let go
Let go of this fear
In this fear to write
Write these comments to all
Have this poem in your eyes
So you may feel
Feel my apologies, for a late comment
A comment sent to you....

Grateful, Oh grateful, we do are grateful,
For this year you made merry and peaceful!
And you have been most humble God’s vessel,
Of love and concern- these all in you settled,
Joy to the angel, form of a mentor,
You made our knowledge to heaven’s sky soar,
You made our souls as pleasant as flowers,
And guide us through the rest of the hours,
Blessing you are to a grammar school’s life,
That departed us from times of great strife,
Alike Dark Age seemed endless as a wreath,
It is you that served as Elizabeth!
How honored we are to have such asset,
Would fail you not like the falling sunset,
Grateful, grateful, we really are grateful,
For this year you made merry and peaceful!
You are the salt in everyday’s dishes,
Every great cook shall have in their wishes,
The crucial pinch in our every day hence:
Without you, a day will have less its sense!

when i look at you, on the cross crucified,
i come face to face with the evil of sin,
when i look at you, abandoned by men,
i just want to sing to you in the very best way i can.
i love you, jesus
i love you, so much
stay with me, don't leave me,
i want to love you 'til the day that i die.
when i look at you, hung on the cross,
i look into your face and i see my friend,
when i look at you, forsaken by men,
i feel sore to my bones but to you forever in debt.
i love you, jesus
i love you, so much
stay with me, don't leave me,
i want to love you 'til the day that i die.
when i look at you, on the cross in pain,
my heart miss a beat, tears run down my face,
when i look at you, insulted by men,
i feel your love inside me, your love that has no end.
i love you, jesus
i love you, so much
stay with me, don't leave me,
i want to love you 'til the day that i die.
Once again the special day of your life is here
When mother welcomed her son to the world with cheer
The day you were born filled your home with gladness
Your mother's smile when cuddling you, a sweet caress
Then a baby boy, you're mindless of life's challenges
Look at that old photograph, you're full of sweet images
That mom can't resist to put you on her warm embrace
A picture perfect of giving each other's loving promise
The little boy has grown up into a young man
Together, a lot of question on your mind starts to run
Hold it back my dear one, don’t get too far
Life's a journey to travel, yours has just began
Just as anybody, you have passed trough tests
In every trials encountered, you took the courage to live
There were times you fell down and have gone astray
You stood again and color the world that was once gray
Now, looking back from where you have started
When life was given to you and the air to breathe
We thank the One above for the gift of you to us
Who continue to touch our lives, a lifetime to last
On your very day I say thank you for the memories
Glad I have enough for the rest of my life to reminisce
Happy birthday I sing to you from here home
The song is silent but hear my heartbeat for you alone

of the man who will always be special to me.
Good afternoon to you God and your son Jesus too,
Millions and millions give you thanks as they say grace.
Asking for your blessings upon family and friends
We are taught these things as a young child.
You are the one and glorious God in Heaven above.
Guarding us with Angels, you send from your abode.
I am sure; I am not the only one, who you have seen today.
I truly do not know how I would react in your presence.
But these words that follow are what I hope I could say.
My heart, always warmed, by just the thought of you,
I feel more then blessed that you gave your Son for my sins.
I too ask for blessings for loved ones and family at times.
I also say to you my God; have a wonderful day and more.
That your days and nights, so filled with peace and love,
That you are protected and cherished each new day,
That you are not forgotten, ever; upon our planet Earth,
Along with all the planets and worlds, you have created.
All the creatures that we take for granted every day.
Each new day I am honored to share what you have given.
Though I know I am a sinner, I know that so many times.
If I should happen to be worthy of your forgiveness divine,
These things and more would I pray that I could give,
Possessions mean little to me, this I know you know.
Money, only needed in the life we have here on Earth
You have given me enough to live each day in peace.
To allow my giving to others who had less than I do.
You my God have been so gracious to me in the past.
My spirit and soul is all you want, I elatedly give to you.
One Day of Gold
A troubled youth and “unloved” was she.
A teen of many tears and sorrows.
Who hoped and dreamed about tomorrows.
Fantasy was her reality.
“Cinderella” was one game she played
While scrubbing out fireplace soot
She imagined her with one bare foot.
Awaiting her prince, cheerfulness stayed.
“Snow White” she was in her childhood dreams.
Bringing to house chores imagined fun.
Singing and cleaning until work was done
Filling her thoughts with romantic themes.
Day after day in a dreamy world
Sitting in trees with the chirping squirrels.
Sorrows like bullets, fantasy hurls.
Distress in her heart became unfurled.
There was no prince to take her away.
Reality hit; delivered pain.
She wanted to die and not remain.
Magic words eased not her inner fray.
Down from the corner, up to her house.
Came a young man who knew her heart fain.
What they did next was fun, not insane.
For a moment, time breathed without grouse.
She brought out a table, round, two chairs.
On the top of the garage, he placed.
Imaginary cups, smiling faced.
Tea time and talking shared, free of cares.
When he went home, she knew not his heart.
Back to imagination she fled.
Reality, light, he could have shed.
Blindly she extinguished a sweet start.
I wish I could find you; I am old.
But in this sweet memory I find
A smile comes to my, now peaceful mind.
And I thank you for one day of gold.

When we walked away ,and the last words were said...
Did you know my eyes swelled up as sadness filled my head...
We both knew this day would come as our hands let go...
But these eyes aren't cold and my heart needed a tow...
We used each other as a step stool to the stars and moon...
Never forgetting these times although we let it go like a balloon...
You will never know how you were the light in the dark and my day...
Far apart we will be, only our memories and songs stay in dreams today...
I can only hope I have given you the same, my smile and eyes that come
back to you when you sit and remember...
Then again you know any day the soup is served with my life and dreams
for you to taste and ponder...
The night knew no tomorrow
The sky remained dark gray
Until the day that I met you
And you turned my darkness into day
The clouds hung in the air
My heart was filled with rain
And until the day we met
I thought I had nothing to gain
All the leaves had fallen
The grass was never green
You showed me a whole new world
A life I had not seen
The fire deep inside me
Had weakened to a spark
You showed me your light
I'm no longer in the dark
(Loop poetry)
I have so much love for you
You are like an unending light
Light from the shining sun
Sun that illuminates my whole day
Day and night
Night and day I just love you
You make me so happy
Happy since the day that we met you know
Know my life is filled of blessings
Blessings given from God
God I'm so thankful for all your love
Love and blessings forever
Forever and ever
Ever for you
You my love!
