Your Birthday

Once again the special day of your life is here When mother welcomed her son to the world with cheer The day you were born filled your home with gladness Your mother's smile when cuddling you, a sweet caress Then a baby boy, you're mindless of life's challenges Look at that old photograph, you're full of sweet images That mom can't resist to put you on her warm embrace A picture perfect of giving each other's loving promise The little boy has grown up into a young man Together, a lot of question on your mind starts to run Hold it back my dear one, don’t get too far Life's a journey to travel, yours has just began Just as anybody, you have passed trough tests In every trials encountered, you took the courage to live There were times you fell down and have gone astray You stood again and color the world that was once gray Now, looking back from where you have started When life was given to you and the air to breathe We thank the One above for the gift of you to us Who continue to touch our lives, a lifetime to last On your very day I say thank you for the memories Glad I have enough for the rest of my life to reminisce Happy birthday I sing to you from here home The song is silent but hear my heartbeat for you alone *** Originally written on April 17, 2006, 22nd birthday of the man who will always be special to me.

Beautiful birthday tribute to your precious son. I can relate so well as my son is 21. Hard to believe how fast they've grown, isn't it. Wonderful to read. Love, Shar
