Best Take For Granted Poems
Don’t take for granted the love of this woman,
the wonderful one who has stolen your heart
Cherish your every moment together,
miss her the hours that you are apart
Stand and protect her in armor clad fashion,
show her the sun when there’s rain in the sky
Walk hand in hand down the path of affection,
take to the clouds as the two of you fly
Stay by her side when her worries start growing,
give her a hug just to show that you care
Tend to her dreams so her world can be magic,
hold her so close in these days that you share
Whisper soft lyrics as melodies linger,
paint her the sunset you see in her eyes
Promise her all she could ever imagine,
pen her a poem of romantic sighs
Conquer her fears when her teardrops are falling,
caress her skin that is soft to the touch
Kiss her with passion between those so tender,
prove to her always you love her so much
Don’t waste a minute, the future is waiting,
now is the time, it’s not too late to start
Don’t take for granted the love of this woman,
the wonderful one who has stolen your heart
Never take for granted each breathe your blessed to take
Don't wait to fix your problems till tomorrow,
They're only bigger when you wake
Don't miss a chance to say I love you,
Thank you, or pass on a lil smile
Don't be afraid to lend a hand or
Ever doubt going that extra mile
If I were given the chance on what message
I would get to leave behind
I'd tell my children how wonderful your life could be,
But only with Jesus at your side
Don't take for granted what he has given and
your life will be filled with peace
Don't fill your life with selfishness, hate or full of grief
Greed will get you nowhere and hate gets you less than that
We all sometimes loose our sense of direction, but
God will give you the wisdom and the strength to get it back
Remember what feelings you hold deep within could
leave the worst scars you'll ever bare
Cause keeping all your hurt and pain inside will leave you
with nothing but anger to share
And there will come a moment
When it will all seem that it's just too late
But God knew what he was doing when he made us,
He loved us so much that
He even left room for our mistakes.
The things that we take for granted
are the simple words we hold from our tongues,
much more thought should be given
to understand their deeper meaning...
have you said," Thank you. " to someone?
When I incidentally bump into people in the supermarket,
I say, " Sorry. " They smile back saying, " It's okay! "
That makes you realize that not all folks are rude....
yes, courtesy is another form of unseen kindness
that we should use more often to improve social behavior.
When making a turn, give the right of way to pedestrians,
a courteous driver gets a stranger's smile on the way to work;
even when there's no stop sign at the corner, let them cross,
they will react as the stranger did...remembering your gesture.
Opening the door for anyone entering the store
makes that person's face light up with thankfulness,
and letting one go ahead of you when she or he has a couple of items,
shows your regard for that individual, never mind who's complaining behind!
When riding the subway, train or bus on the rush hour which is entirely urban,
getting a seat is never easy...give yours to an older man or woman,
or an expecting one regardless of age...you'll surely get a flash of gratitude!
As you can see, the things that we take for granted can enrich our lives.
We all know what living is
We all had our lives given to us.
On a silver platter, a road for life mapped out for us,
but we aren't always serious
about the people near and dear to us,
because we're usually delirious about the life we take for granted.
When we have roofs over our heads
and sheets on our bed
then how come on the streets people
are frozen with defeat and have to compete for some food.
How can we watch people's lives fall when they stand against a wall with a sign?
No use at all, praying to god as their pride crumbles.
We watch them stumble with their heads down low and nowhere to go and I think,
Where is the kindness planted?
Why do we take our lives for granted?
How could we stoop so low while we live in houses they have nowhere to go
- couldn't we lend them something...
Oh no, one person could make a difference if they spoke out loud
show their faces to the crowd.
A difference could be made
all of us could be of aid.
So dear reader I hope you see
the message that coming from me
and as I've gone on and almost ranted
Why do we take our lives for granted?!
My daily routine.
Every day, as always,
Wake up at four.
Start the chores.
Go to the gardens,
Do some maintenance.
Visit the M Central
Play the piano.
One hour goes past,
Enjoy some breakfast.
Go to the library,
Take up space,
Use the computer/internet,
Lunch with meal set.
In the arvo,
Play more and more piano.
Otherwise, visit "Maker Space".
Do some embroideries
For the rest of the day.
What a wonderful day with appointment free.
Tomorrow is another day,
With hectic classes and clinics.
Appointments and treatments
Do not know how to describe,
How the rest of the week was like?
Few words maybe.
Busy and very busy.
Life moves on,
Regardless how you want it.
