Best Syringe Poems
In the phlebotomy room,
there came a woman
And a man
And their lad
Inquiring, queuing
‘My blood, I give to you;
draw and draw freely,
I have no qualms’
The lad started,
Responding, boasting
‘Yes, you can draw
by every means you choose
save with this needle!’
The lad protested,
Sobbing, struggling
Writing to you about the evil I enjoy.
More like knowing the hate I have for fever.
On this sick bed I curse fever.
For employing my body against me.
I sneezed a hundred last night.
Accompanied by a boiling temperature.
And multiple lining's covering my skin.
The throbbing ache in my head.
Can equal for a five star soundtrack.
Uncomfortable I try to crawl out of my skin.
A toss off the bed.
On the vomits i make a home.
My eyes speaks more than my voice.
Tired and sunken from crying.
Wanting to get a clear view of the pills.
The pounding in my head numbs it all.
Pocketing my brain off my skull.
A dry throat and hazy voice clouds my speech.
Like I climbed down a pulpit.
After shouting to a thousand of deaf beings.
Left only with the hummm sound
Every bone hidden in my skin hurts
Blocked nostrils I tried to breath through.
Weaker I get, yet they asked I stay bare.
A pain I am fixed to endure.
The room stench with sorrow and medicine.
Scent's that once brought me peace.
Now twist my veins and burst the sweat balls on my skin.
I am left with promises.
As the needles make way into my skin.
And the fluids from the drip bag flood my being.
That the guileful pricks will make me whole.
Am I even broken?.
All I get is a confinement without my approval.
Total submission to the evil that gets me right.
Many are pitying the guy,
Because one cannot new life buy:
Bingo had on his groin pounced
And got him-Meanest Foe-trounced!
Vet had Needle and Syringe shown Dog
And what he got worse than struck log:
To Bingo’s Canines job to do
“And don’t first ask your Victim ‘Who’?”
Many are afraid Vet will die
And have begun to say “Mute Bye.”
A Miscalculating Vet - Fie!
For him I could only once sigh:
Had in Dog’s food dropped a long sleep
But too quick to The Sown to reap!
Tip is scary
Feeling forcibly crazy
Nurse flu injection.
What’s your view?
Is there a hue?
That for you
Will on cue
Always imbue
Your soul renew
The one colour
Couldn’t poo poo
Makes others duller
Wouldn’t eschew
Pure & true
We’ve all known
Tone is prone
To stir such emotion
Some say sky or sea
Others disown
The big blue notion
Shrouds of clouds
Lure of azure ocean
For me a dosage
Of grown foliage
Honed my devotion
The most verdant sheen
I have ever seen
That magic potion
Tincture of Greens!
A cricket pitch
Without a hitch
Can bewitch
Bowling green
Billiards baize
Rays ablaze
Can amaze
Who doesn’t fawn
Over dew at dawn
On a lovely lawn
Passion pops
Preens the tops
Fashions any copse
Captivating thrills
Spills across
Undulating hills
Don't need a permit
To be a hermit
Rest In a forest
The colour of kermit
A tinge to binge
Can’t cringe..shan’t impinge
Only if flames singe
Would cause a twinge
Fresh from Mother Nature’s syringe
There’s no other shade
She’s sprayed
Life conveyed
Jade dappled glade
Strife allayed
Laborious glorious fringe rife
So dutifully…beautifully made
Not a skinflint hint
Or skint glint
Stints of prints
Of green tints
Like cooling Mint
Or the sublime lime
Of summertime fooling
Could be the emerald
Only Spring can herald
Or go full throttle
Embracing the green of racing
Or the mottle of bottle
Let sage take centre stage
Held captive by olive
Maybe Pea or Sea glee
Say what you see
Always classy
Brassy let’s call it grassy
Which is why
It’s a bonsai dye
I’m a verdant merchant
With a trenchant penchant
For this natural screen
Finessing..caressing & dressing wood
Glean a lovely keen sheen
Whether trees or Pease pud
That could have only ever been GREEN!
