I See You...

Wanderer, wanderer, lost in the haze
void of direction, succumb to the craze.
Give ear to my madness, so deftly designed;
deception de-jour: aimed to muddle your mind.

Hocus and pocus no need for free thought,
erase your opinions, your conscious to rot.
As sugar and soda your smile decay,
a hoax and swindle, then off on your way.

Smoke and a mirror, please don’t look too close.
The truth makes one banal; drugs for the morose.
Illusion can conjure emotions untapped
a quick misdirection, now I’ve got you trapped.

You think you arrived here, quite all on your own
you’re one of a billion, another sad clone…
I’ve stolen the treasure that once made you free
brainwashed you to thinking all’s as it should be.

Gobbledygook and hyperbolized drivel
platitudes, platitudes, mentally shrivel;
accept what I tell you, and not an ounce more,
wanderer, wanderer, you’re lost evermore.

It makes me sad
to read such wonderful prose
hidden only cause many seem impaired
lighting dimmed
softness fades
missing true gems, for glittered dreams

Like ones travels
explore
discover hidden Lanes
quiet places are better to savour
wine and enticing poetry
taste better than overpriced grapes

Many are fooled by
by the popularity of bellwethers
who could swindle the pence
out of their mothers purse
actions and words completely reversed
poetry escapes them, rants are not verse

Seekers of praise
purchase their attention
I rather true poets
expressing life's true reflections
nothing has changed
time passes, is always the same

Stained ink on meaningless pages

Premium Member Desperate Hope

Written: December 19, 2023

"His style has the desperate jauntiness of an orchestra fiddling away for dear life on a sinking ship. Edmund Wilson"

            ____________________________________________

With each fresh day, leaves on trees grew dry.
Stream flow had ceased in the vast waterway.
Enormous boulders collapsed to dust!
Perched on lonesome island of my life fust

I tasted the bitterness of shattered dreams.
Walls stood in my path, hindering laud gleams.
Depart from my delicate and feeble universe!
My nightmares shattered all hope, into a curse.

Departing with daunting sadness and failure.
Wallowing in self-pity, longing for a torn sailor.
I am seriously suffering through my fate!
I was startled when I heard a faint whisper sate.

Optimism is a belief that can lead to success.
Even if roses are cut, spring will still progress.
Shift focus toward kindness, not dwell on pain.
Twiddle to the glorious sky to rise once again.

There are no desperate situations, they say.
Only desperate people endure; they convey.
In the pits of anguish, hope might dwindle.
We mimic inner force to rise without a swindle.

There, within the deepest recesses of our minds.
In a land where shadows hover and dismay binds.
A faint glimmer of light starts to flicker.
We will strive for perseverance and vigor.

Who are these people, you might ask?
Ones who will fit any extent for their task.
They are those who are eager for success.
Steadfast in their quest, they never digress.

They are the skeptics, rebels, and bold.
Who is loath to be tethered by societal mold?
They overstep limits and breach walls.
Unabatedly, their tenacity never stalls.

Ready to accomplish a wide range of things.
They have no fear of spreading their wings.
No snag is too vast, or argue that is too tough.
They are keen on any cost, even if it is rough.

Grace flows, twists, turns, renewing spun gold.
Heaven's enduring doors continue to enfold.
Wistful soul is overtaken by delight scope.
Phoenix emerges from the ashes of lost hope.

Good Versus Evil

4/30/18

The prequel
Of good vs. evil
Did they ever consider each other equal?
One side peaceful
The other deceitful

In the beginning
Neither side was really winning
As the globe continued spinning

Brimming
With things that were living
Meanwhile one was only taking and one was giving
Back to the Earth while grinning

While existing
One was focused on fixing
And enriching
All the while being uplifting

The other one was drifting
And always tricking
So a bad reputation began sticking

Endless blood spilling
From all the senseless killing
Sad that they found it thrilling

Next came the middle
Each side continuing to chisel
Away at the other little by little
Even though it never was all that simple

One remaining civil
The other trying to swindle
And cripple
But the opposing side wouldn't let it all dwindle

There had to be an end
Did no good to pretend

One a true friend
The other only there to condescend

One wants you to ascend
The other wants to see you descend

One would send
You flowers and a letter that was penned

The other wants you dead
And to never see you again

There's something to be said
For those that bit the hand that fed

One saw many opportunities ahead
The other was always seeing red

Finally here comes the sequel
For the people

Still to this day good and evil
Co-exist as they have for many a siecle

Premium Member My Precious, Darling Nissan Boy

My precious, darling Nissan boy,
one day I knew you wouldn’t last.
Although I thought it just a ploy,
a swindle planned to take my cash.

Barely you made it down the street,
my precious, darling Nissan boy.
The tire met fender to a beat,
marking the end of days of joy.

Someone abused you like a toy,
someone I trusted with your life.
My precious, darling Nissan boy,
why did I let you know such strife?

I bid farewell. You can’t be fixed.
Your wholeness they want to destroy.
It's true you are 2006,
my precious, darling Nissan boy.

Smells Like Government

Rancid lemon rope squeeze
around a rotten tomato neck tie,
crooked odor bow hanging out of place
Acid reflux raisin tax bleed;
dripping spoiled, milquetoast lies
out a sour-twisted, prune puckered face

Tart tongue
sulfur speak disorderly,
dirty saliva fingers in the propaganda pie
Such a bowel movement disgrace
Bottom rung
bung opening vault key
Onion groans ... chittering fermented cry
Boot-licking patent leather taste

Smells like government to me,
corrupt as can be
Dung pile of voter promises,
sits atop a pungent idol landfill heap,
swarming with stinking lip flies
Smells just like reeking government gluttony —
O beast behavior ...
swine odor, foul as can be

Swindle spit vapors perfidiously wafting,
kindle the vomit pit
Sewage waste material ash labors fanning,
can you stand the stench of it?

Smells like dead paper figurehead
government to me
Bait-and-switch fishy business ...
close your eyes,
what does your nose see?

Tainted meat polltry speech,
pluck the purse feathers
off the cable perched pigeon bodies

Smells like government
is about to make a putrid, baked-in story
Made up facts ... maggot video feed

Stale, bureaucratic policy hard rolls
warmed over twice
Buttered late with expired date lies
Served with a cloying cup
of steaming sound-byte coffee:
Substitute truth ... false sugary

Toilet swirl coffin cake,
gutter floss the oral cavity
Bad breath vows made,
garbage hope nobody needs

Government smells
like a morgue dog in heat
Very omit cadaver, obit disgusting

Smells like
a pot of burning bones
on a boil
Bottom lip scum
rising to the top
On a truthful breath: Let me tell you,
it stinks an awful lot

Smells like scurvy government to me,
corrupt as base bribery can be
The lobbyist rats are scarfing down
the moldy green government cheese,
so silver spoon tongue greedily

Nothing like some regurgitated split-pea pleas
to hit the decaying belly ballot gastric spot
Can you make a federal case
of this rank-and-foul flatulent republic rot?

A Marriage Creed

A Marriage Creed

So now my little Man, you've gotten tired of grass"
LSD, goof balls, hash" and pills. Someone pretending to
be your friend - decided to introduce you to me,
Miss Heorine.

Well honey, before you start fooling around with me, just
let me inform you of how it's going to be. I will
seduce you and make you my slave, I have send men
much bigger than you to their graves.

You think that you can never become a disgrace and end
up like poppy seed waste. You will start inhaling me one
afternoon. You will take me into your arms very soon and
once I have entered deep down in your veins - the craving
for me, will drive almost insane.

You will need lots of money ( as you have been told ) for
darling - I am much more expensive than gold. You will
swindle your mother and just for a buck, you will turn
into something vice and corrupt. You will rob and steal
for my narcotic charm and feel contentment when I am
in your arm.

The day you realize the monster you have become - you
will sollemly promise to leave me alone. If you think that
you have that mystical knack - than darling just try getting
me of your back.

The vomit, the cramps, your gut tied up in a knot, the jangling
screaming for just one more shot. The chills and cold sweat, the
withdrawls pains can only be cured by my little white grains.

There is no other way and there is no need to look, for deep
down inside you'll know that you're HOOKED. You will despertely
run to the pusher and then you will welcome me back to your arm
once again and when you return ( just as I foretold ) I'll know that
you'll give me your body and soul.

You'll give up your morals, your consceience, your heart and you'll
be mine untill DEATH do us part...

Written by Lucilla M. Carrillo

Note: This will be the last poem that I'll
write on this. I don't want to bore you.
I just feel that more people need to know
about this problem...

With This Needle, I Thee Wed...

So now little man you're tired of grass,
LSD,PCP, cocaine, speed and hash.
You think you've tried them all, think again.
When someone pretending to be a true friend,
Says "I'll introduce you to Miss Heroine."
You'll need lots of money, haven't you been told?
For darling, I am more expensive than gold.
You'll start by inhaling me one afternoon.
Then You'll take me into your arms very soon.
And once I'm deep, deep in your veins.
The cravings will drive you insane.
The chills, the cold sweats, the pains.
Which can only be eased by my little white grains.
The nightmares, the guilt, your guts in knot.
Begging and screaming, for just one more shot.
You'll swindle your mother for less than a buck.
And end up in an animal vile, and go corrupt.
You think you've got the mystical knack.
Just try getting me off your back.
Keep telling yourself you're not a disgrace.
Only to find out you're addicted to poppy seed waste.
In the end you'll give up your mind, body and heart.
And then you'll be mine till death do us part.

Miss Heroin

So now little lady, your tired of hash, cocaine, LSD, downers and grass,
Then someone pretending to be genuine introduced you to little miss heroin,
Well honey before you mess with me,
Just let me tell you how it will be,
For I will seduce you and make you my slave,
I've sent much stronger people than you to there grave,
You'll start inhaling me one afternoon,
Then you'll take me in your arms very soon,
And once I've entered deep in your vein,
Your life will never be quite the same,
You'll swindle your family just for a buzz,
and end up with many visits from the fuzz,
You'll mug and steal for my narc tic charm,
and you'll feel content with me in your arm,
The day you realize the monster has grown,
You will silently swear to leave me alone,
Well baby, just try getting me of your back,
The vomits, the cramps, your guts tied in knots,
And trembling nerves scream just one more shot,
Then you'll welcome me back in your arms,
As a foretold, you'll need lot's more money and much more gold,
For now my darling, I've captured your heart,
And now you'll be mine,"till death us do part".

The Crooked Cop

He'd swindle fate, but they bought in
protected by a badge' restraint,
the pusher, in a ring, his nose
would deal with any dealing's pose!

So "sell for us" ~ the deputy's roll
& County Attorney "in the know!"
The sentence lightened, they'd absorb,
"be on our team" ~ part of the corp!

So down to earth, one jury's word
would ridicule this motion serve,
and if your caught, legal reserve
is always waiting ~ why lose nerve!

It's open season, dope's the word,
the Deputy's fix, with license lured
by silence that is kept observed ~
it's who you are, not what occurred!

He's Sheriff now ~ this bridging's game
took him uphill ~ crimes not to blame,
see now if justice could disdain,
his uniform speaks ~ what's in it . . . . feigns!

The Mysterious Crystal Ball

The Mysterious Crystal Ball

Is this glass sphere a Gothic masterpiece of time
or a mere ball of glass with no significance at all
The Crystal Ball to a scorceror or fortune teller
is an amazing camera obscurer window to the future.
When people of all walks of life, want to know what
their fortune will be, they are told by the user of this
medium, be it true or false, relies mainly on luck or chance.
Back in the days of the great Harry Houdini, this innocent
Crystal Ball, was used for a darker side, to swindle people
out of their life savings, when used by evil pretenders in
seances but these criminals were exposed by the master
illusionist himself, Harry Houdini, which goes to prove
there is an evil purpose for everything.

The Worst of the Lot

As a nation, Malaysia is but a mere 28 million strong..
Diverse as she is, we as citizens sing together her national song...
Entitled Negara Ku or My Country, we all arise to pay homage as we sing...
With nationalism in our hearts, many a stellar citizen stands proudly...
Every time the song is trumpeted in any prize giving ceremony...

We are but a small country yet we all have big dreams...
How else can you explain our presence in the world stage ...
In Datuk Lee Chong Wei, the badminton world sees a supremo...
His skills and flair for his chosen game is second to no other..
His counterpart, Datuk Nicol Ann David, is just as stellar....
9 years of world status as number one in Woman Squash...
Her achievements eclipsed all other woman players in squash..

But what is this, what disaster brings upon us this latest atrocity...
Our democratically elected Prime Minister from the Razak family...
The venerated Najib Razak Prime Minister Elect and Finance Minister...
Voted and fingered in the whole of Asia as the worst finance minister ...
Decades of painstakingly brand building of the nation of Malaysia...
Many have witnessed how Malaysia emerged stronger in turbulent Asia..
After the ravages of the severe economic crisis back in the nineties ...

The colossal quagmire of an entity called 1MDB, touted as a sovereign fund...
On the back of government guarantees, it secured billions and billions in funds..
After many a mysterious and incomprehensible dealings and wheelings...
1MDB is now a hot potato under suspicion as a conduit for money laundering..
Worse still it is widely perceived to swindle a nation of her citizen's money...
And horrors, the financial minister may have ill gotten gains in his accounts...
With a 50billion deficit and counting , 1MDB is set to be a colossal disaster....

Who is that Finance Minister? He has to be the worst in the whole of Asia!!!

Shrapnel of Karma

To the North, South, East, and West...

Geniuses are lost in the jaunty jewels of rakish cads,

The hazard morsel palaver allot odium on idioms...

Rankle virulent mishmash wheeze addle chagrin jives,

Loosing a volley of expletives ordure waft charmed oafs,

Self-iniquity gull maven heresy when blighted wizardry jinxes,

Ticklish cynic infidel swindle dupe cozen duress...

Squall patois and whammy sham schemas wriggle hoaxes,

Charlatans and hoodlums melange to dunce vows,

A shyster unquiet quivers with jester gestures now...

Semi-sacrilege vitiate and endemic jargon raze imps,

This collides as a white energy as dolt hooligan knaves beget...

Colloquial bilge putrefy, the rascals soon flatter us,

Bollix of potpourri lingo wanes to tutelary tongues,

Harlequin coercion argot musical novellas in history,

Pray our shifting shrapnel of karma, varnish boor minds,

Erstwhile, live grenades made of better lives are unvanquished as they are
thrown by unsung heroes into the North, South, East, and West,...amen...

The Pompous Hunt For Perfection

Enchanted with the precarious recital, the silent sacrament
Aging hastily, ignoring the cadaverous skin for imminent immaculateness
Tempted to escape a few more, she refuses to be subjugated
Impressed with her capacity to swindle the dim-witted, dense humanity
Never staring back, only gazing onward to the day she will attain flawlessness
Glorious will be that day, the idyllic rendezvous she perpetually craves

Distorted perceptions nourish the wicked ploy
Inside craving solace while shrieking a impassioned, clandestine plea
Swirling thoughts of culpability and delight, waltzing collectively
Ohh how her narcissistic scheme empowers her
Ritualistic and merciless is her crime, a vain diversion
Deceiving the masses, misleading her very own flesh
Eating away is her soul, her essence, the pompous hunt for perfection
Relinquishing tranquility to be the mastermind of an unattainable quest

Yes, the cry got it to settle
now so new, in its own class
see one cow to add on a cattle
wax the gut for the raw grass
to and fro to hit its mettle
gun the toe to be as brass
the pea is in a hot kettle
let it hit and win the glass
a new kid on the candle
bag of air lag not the kindle
low fun via age on the swindle
now old, ago, a new basket
saw, led and ran the market
all now the end in a big casket
