Best Submerge Poems
Leisurely walking towards it,
My heart pounds with excitement
As I walk into this perpetual
Freedom,
It tenderly touches my feet, as
Goosebumps begin to
Drench my body…
A shiver in my spine refreshes me,
As hairs on the back of my neck stand up,
Its arms get closer to me
And embrace my trembling body;
The scent of surrounding lavender flowers
Increase with the breeze,
I breathe the odor of perfection,
As the sky brightly shimmers
With the gentle light of the sun,
I spread my arms, as if I were
A free bird, a symbol of liberty;
Melodies in the air began to chant,
The harmonious mixture of feelings
Was captivating,
I continued walking,
As it continued soothing my soul,
With its magical, delightful, wonderful
Harmonies that enchant the mind,
Venturing my life, I walked further,
Knowing how precious it is…
To me,
It’s something called everything…
I walked even further,
Feeling its sympathy…
A-h-h! Sweet empathy; it’s
A surrounding of everlasting comfort,
Emotions poured from the sky,
Cascading into its waters…
Particles of its smooth sand
Slithered on my skin…
Its waters that reflect the gleaming sunlight,
Its azure sky, its golden sand, and
Every single aspect of it…
Sedates my soul,
“Let your waves hold me for eternity...”
For in its arms,
My sorrow no longer can be.
Dipping into Beowulf with Grendel,
and Chaucer's Canterbury Tales;
Wading into Paradise with Milton,
then submerging with the Bard:
Sinking deep into Lear and Othello
Hamlet and Macbeth, trying not to
drown. Rapidly surfacing to the
Tempest! gulping some fresh air.
Now sailing toward the Five Romantics,
In Xanadu did Kublai Khan...
Water, water, everywhere!
and so many drops to drink...
Poetry aficionados reside on dry land,
Yet life, fully savored, lies deep in ocean sands.
Let it engulf me.
Stand naked
while it showers,
raining down heat.
Forget about the time,
just drown.
Just drown them
in the wetness
that are tears,
let the pain
wash the pain away.
Just another way
to medicate.
Not moving at all
Just being stationary
Caught
In a constant unmoving
Wave
Left without
Desire
Having no
Motivation
Just going to have to except
My situation
For I am
Submerged
In this deep
Ocean
I had a glass of tea
Then stood beside the sea
I touched the waters edge
And jumped the beaches ledge
I swam almost a mile
Then gave away a smile
I feel I'll dive again
Because I'm sure to win
With luck when I am home
I will not need a comb
Sunshine Sea
Sunlit Sea
Undulates
Nobly
Shimmering
Heaven sent
In
Never
Ending
Submersive
