Villanelle: Stringent laws only serve to constrict the heart to hate

     For all Eric Garners who went down breathless

Stringent laws only serve to constrict our hearts to hate
“Nur wenn das Herz erschlossen Dann ist die Erde schön”
Put the blame on Bushmen genes which wandering mutate

Yea put the blame on the Maker too for making world rotate
Way we’re all made contend we not for the one an’ same bone
Stringent laws only serve to constrict our hearts to hate

Some people who on this earth set foot much too late
Still hope to displace take and hold on to what others earn
Put the blame on Bushmen genes which wandering mutate

Those who love to lick the chokehold sweat mostly gravitate
To the force that arms preserve till eternity burns in urn
Stringent laws only serve to constrict our hearts to hate

All that happens be it not the changes wrought by climate
If the winds just blew one single way will none ever moan
Put the blame on Bushmen genes which wandering mutate

Everything happens way it does to keep from kicking planet
Sans white or black beauty nor butt we’ll all die of boredom
Stringent laws only serve to constrict our hearts to hate
Put the blame on Bushmen genes which wandering mutate

Stringent and Weirded

What distract me from my oblagations are
not of trust but of worldly want and desire.
Than what is spoken as Godlydistracts those
of there obligation and duty to God.
My love of my wife has been
made sacred by marriage, and those who wish
to distract me from such obligastion
are forieng and strange
and are then wicked and vain!
This spoke Saffra to the woman
who wished him to
make music for the people
and not make music which honored God!

God's Law and Being Stringent

Each Day With God's Law

Each day with God's law shall become longer;
Do concentrate on and it soon will be stronger,
And in any weather,
Brings things together;
Straightens out my life while being a rearranger..

Contingent Upon Being Stringent

Are things that depend upon being stringent;
Also contingent when you become stringent;
Compare
And share;
Having been lenient and for your sins repent.

A Prayer for None

Beyond the boisterous bustle I go,
I find the way, I want to know,
You think twice, you don't deny,
You fill me up, you help me die.
Wishes with wisps wobble about,
I love with passion that dubious doubt,
You break in, you sing too loud,
You send the rain back to the clouds.

I traverse inverse in a psychosomatic realm,
I begin to grow dicey, till virtues overwhelm,
You say a soft prayer, you invoke the crowd,
You unwrap the dull and mysterious shroud.
I take an identity, I throw the idea,
I imbibe new courage from an emerging phobia,
You tread across the air, you begin tantalising,
You become transparent, you turn enterprising.

I don't recognise the Prince of Denmark,
I bump into Prufrock in a children's park,
You happen to be on the wings of poesy,
You strike out the light for Darkness to see.
I see the skylark vanishing into the forest of the night,
I do not stand alone watching the angels fight,
You pick up a ravishing red red rose somehow,
You draw the stringent curtain, you forget to bow.

The world's not a stage, neither are we players,
We exist in the void, we supplicate to the layers,
I being nowhere, where's no water to drink,
You come upon as Godot until we don't sink,
I pantomime the hour, that often struts and frets,
You hold the flaming alter, in a packet of cigarettes!
