Surrendering

Together, but yet lost and alone,
Wondering if you're going to be gone.
We use to love like there was no tomorrow,
But now all we have is sorrow.
I still dream of a special day,
When we will find our love of yesterday.
Longing for a forgotten hideaway all of our own,
Then I look into your eyes to see it gone.
I know most of the blame lies with me,
For not becoming the woman I should be.
You've showed me love I've never had,
I blame myself for it going bad.
I'm filled with such emotion,
But my love is filled with devotion.
You're my one and only true love,
So I'm surrendering our love on the wings of a Dove.
I'll be waiting to learn,
If our love will return.

Sorry, My Love

Not long ago,
I've put your love in vain.
I've caused you so much pain.
I've made mistakes all over again.

Now I write you a letter of apology
To say, "I'm so sorry."
Hoping for your forgiveness
And deep understanding.

Though hopeless,
I still believe for a new beginning
This time my love is sweeter than ever.

A thousand times
I go down on my knees and cry.
And every day,
So many tears in me have fallen.

But now,
I wonder if you still love me.
I wonder if you even care for me.

You know I'd die for you, my love.
The only thing I fear is living
Without by my side.

3 Months

Tears fall heavily on this padded paper, the words blur and smear as it runs through.
And I can't sleep I need to tell you goodnight. The last 21 years have come and
gone to sleep. Now that you love me I hate myself. So much regret and so little
pride. The sands of time made sharp echoing sounds as they fall in my hands. So
much to do so little time. How do I say Im sorry when I can't forgive myself. I love
you thats all I can say. My days become listless as I lie in their bed. Did you get my
letters and all that I said. I wait and no avail. It feels like there is a damper on my
senses. Im slipping away as you walk into the room. You take my hand "I love
you........"

Did You Love Me?

If I can live with you as if nothing went wrong
I would be in denial I'm not sure for how long
You tell me you’re sorry and I do believe
But my mind can’t stop thinking if your truth will deceive
You did it for so long without any remorse
I’m really trying and pray that all this will soon run its course
I love you, I never did stop
But your love I question was it real or not

Less Human Than Thy

I'm trying to love you.
I'm trying to help you.
I'm trying to see through your eyes.
But I can't understand you.
I cannot feel for you.
So am I less human than thy?

You make deep confession,
Admit your depression.
Emotions well up in your eyes.
I want to console you
But think follies control you.
So am I less human than thy?

You tell me you love me,
Your heart pour forth for me.
To a puddle you melt 'fore my eyes.
I say we've been through this.
I just cannot do this.
So am I less human than thy?

You want to talk to me,
And not to look through me.
You wish that I'd see through your eyes.
But my patience is peaking.
I'm done with the speaking.
So am I less human than thy?

Out there you are starving,
A life barely carving.
You plead with your desolate eyes.
But I'd rather not look.
I'll just hide in my nook.
I guess I'm less human than thy.

Forgive Me?

I know loving me is never easy.
It takes a very special man.
I am so so many things.
I am a mother and a sister
I am a daughter and friend.

I take everything to heart.
I know I am not beautiful.
At least not that I can see.
But when I love
I love unconditionally!
When I love I do so
With every fiber of my being.

Please know that when you
Hurt than so do I.
It is double agony when
The one to cause your
Pain is me......

But when you feel joy
I do so as well.
I will tell you this
When you need someone
In your corner you will see
No one will fight for you
Harder or more fierce than me!

I promise you that one
Day I will get this right.
No more agony and pain
No more clouds and rain.

I know some journeys we
Do take on our own.
I promise to try harder.
I just ask...Forgive me?

Wondering Where Love Went

I relayed on trust
more than affection;
watching every move,
instead of watching the flowers slowly bloom.

Wondering where love went,
chasing after the illusion
of bringing it back where it was;
and realizing the impossibility, I'm so saddened.

You wanted more than understanding,
warm hands to hold and the fire of desire...
to let you ride on your fantasy star;
and I regret all that I didn't give you with real feeling.

Wondering where love went,
and what is the lesson that
life has taught me? Never wait
for others, just trust your instinct and shun every doubt.

Wondering where love went,
seeing happy lovers, engaging in romance,
who they have found their paradise;
I was looking for mine in someone whom I didn't love enough...
