Best Song Suicide Poems
Surely enough
Silence ruled.
Swaying through my life
Sullen silence,
Swiftly sang,
Sang a sweet song.
Songs of affection,
Songs of challenge.
Sometimes even,
Simple songs of nothing.
Sweet nothings that mean everything.
Surely enough,
Sweet silence
Sang me another song.
Pour me some whiskey
Throw me a smile
Make me forget I'm alive for a while.
'Cause life just don't seem
like a blessing to me
I'd count myself blessed if I never did be.
Brick by brick she
stumbled and crumbled,
one roped to my ankle,
as I drown-
She sits as I stand.
I cry and take her hand.
She makes excuses,
I enable again.
For I knew I was losing
my best friend.
Brick by brick she cracks like cement,
rubble under her toes like glass shards-
One prick from her sharp pain,
I tumble.
Gone insane.
No life remains.
She tells lies,
I believe with trust.
She thinks her masquerade,
is a longing must.
She cussed,
I fussed.
A crimson red stone,
left me alone as I
condone her behavior-
mortar began to m

and anguish I felt,
left barren and alone...
her own life she could never savor.
I tried to do a favor,
to heaven she was blown,
like a onyx raven, she has flown.
She needed love to survive,
I tried to keep her to stay alive-
She longed for motivation,
I longed for a different situation.
Her life...
severe annihilation.
Flowers in her rank hospital room,
I knew soon she’d feed off hell’s doom-
My world ended when she turned gloom,
now I inhale the blazing fire fume.
Suicide took her from me,
brick by brick she longed to be free-
A sad story told as she crumbled and stumbled,
I prayed as her brick brought me to my knees.
My favorite song is "Brick" by Ben Folds Five
It's about a man who loves a girl who is severely depressed.
He tries to help her in every way, but in the end it just wasn't enough.
She felt taking her life was the only option.

Born in Aberdeen Washington
where he hung out,
“Underneath the bridge,
the tarp has sprung a leak”
Taught himself to play guitar,
liked to smoke some weed,
“And the animals I’ve trapped
have all become my pets”
Started writing songs,
had very deep meaning,
“And I’m living off of grass
and drippings from the ceiling”
Formed the band Nirvana
with some of his buddies,
“But it’s ok to eat fish,
cause they don’t have any feelings”
“Something in the way”
boy he’s got ambition,
“Something in the way yeah”
unwavering conviction,
“Something in the way”
chronic stomach condition,
“Something in the way yeah”
impending perdition.
Records started to sell
superstardom beckoned,
“Underneath the bridge,
the tarp has sprung a leak”
Took the billboard chart by storm,
Grunge had found its champion,
“And the animals I’ve trapped
have all become my pets”
Money started to come in,
met ‘Courtney Love’ it seems,
“And I’m living off of grass,
and drippings from the ceiling”
Got married had a child,
They named her Frances Bean,
But it’s ok to eat fish,
cause they don’t have any feelings.
“Something in the way”
by your own admission.
“Something in the way yeah”
is it drug addiction,
“Something in the way”
rehab with no remission,
“Something in the way yeah”
a round of ammunition.
Nothings in the way,
they can feel you breathing,
Board spells out your name
a very eerie feeling,
Gun went off by mistake
is the wound still healing,
Sigrid’s seance was no fake,
I am so believing,
A voice of burning nails
exorcising demons,
Goodbye Kurt Cobain
tarp was only weeping.

Remember When
Remember when we'd hold each others hand
Remember when we skinny dipped in the stream
Remember when we used to be so happy
Remember when
Remember when you always made me smile
Remember when we danced all night in the rain
Remember when you said that you loved me
Remember when
Then you turned and walked away
Leaving me all alone with these memories
These memories of me and you
Remember that
Oh girl, since you've gone
My nights are spent dreaming of you
And remembering the things that we did
Do you remember them
Remember when we were so in love
Remember when we kissed under the moon
Remember when you made me that promise
Remember when
But you just turned and walked away
Leaving me alone with these memories
Memories of suicide yesterday
Do you remember when
He was looking for love
For a relationship,
An online love that he could not resist,
He was hoping to find the perfect one
Then this someone special came along.
They spoke of things important to them
Things they both felt they had in common,
His world was turned upside down
Over this special love he had found
But one day it started to unravel
He was ready to meet and travel
Half a world to visit them
But then he found out his love was not a woman
That he had been played and strung along,
Was too much for him
And he could not carry on,
He played online to them a sad song,
Then ended his life when it was done.
Catfish are you happy now,
Catfish are you proud now,
Catfish what you going to do now
You caused someone you did not know to die.
Daddy searched for the good life, but it could not be found.
Momma got tired of it all and went running around.
Sarah climbed up to the sky with no way to get down.
That’s when she learned how to scream without making a sound.
Now poor Sarah will never see her momma again.
And her daddy’s on the couch, still three sheets to the wind.
that gun’s cold steel barrel, it felt like her only friend.
It’s the only thing that gave her comfort in the end.
Chorus:
Each day is just another game,
of playing Russian roulette.
Spin the chamber, pull the trigger,
be happy with what you get.
If you’re not lucky, you’ll get a chance,
to blow your mind again.
You must drop the hammer,
because until you lose, you can’t win.
When searching for answers, you find nothing but the wind.
Blowing all hope of a future, down around the bend.
Each time you tried to stand up, you just got knocked back down.
‘Til you could no longer pull yourself up off the ground.
Which path would you take, if you were cast out on your own.
When all your hope is lost, and your heart has turned to stone.
Would you ask for some help, from the one who rules above.
I wonder if you’d choose death, or would you choose love.
Repeat Chorus:
Will it even make a difference, which path you choose.
The world will still keep on turning, if you win or lose.
So that cold steel barrel just might be your only friend.
Because even when you lose, your still going to win.
Each day is just another game of playing Russian roulette.
Spin the chamber, pull the trigger, be happy with what you get.
And if you’re lucky you’ll get a chance to blow your mind again.
You must drop the hammer, because until you lose, you can’t win.
The ambush came in back to back
The train that came was right on track
To me, this feels like blasphemy
I won't stay how they wanted me
When I die
Will I leave by their design?
I'm not sure if I'd
wanna know
so
Tell me a lie
To me, this feels like blasphemy
That I can't breathe at all
It's just a waste of time
I see a long winter coming
(yes, I know)
the dull gray spreads ahead of me,
there ain’t no use in running
(if I could)
from yourself you can never flee.
There’s a long winter coming
(how’d I know)
you’d take it to such an extreme,
thought that we were something,
(yes, you did)
when to ‘benefits’ we agreed.
…Oh, the lies we tell,
to fake peace with ourselves,
you were in that dark place…
but nothing did you say…
In the long winter coming
(how will I)
forget the picture I was shown
by a cop so condemning
(let me see)
just how you’d laid yourself low.
In this long winter coming
(I will ask)
why you couldn’t tell me the truth,
always said we’d end it
(if we found)
ourselves in love with someone new.
…Oh, how could it be,
a triviality,
with fire took a turn,
and how it left you burned…
O’er the long winter coming
(I will say)
I’d have left her if I had known,
if I’d learned of your feelings
(I’d take you)
as mine to see if it would grow.
Now the long winter coming
(weighs on me)
all that was lost with your dark choice,
I’m left here, undone, and
(every day)
I wish I could still hear your voice…
