Best Song Moon Poems

An Angel

poet , ANJALI DENANDI , MOM

                              AN ANGEL

i am an angel,young;
i gift to you my song;
when, the fullmoon is on the sky,
then i fly and fly......
and enter in your dream;
and sing my song.
only i sing ,
at the season of the spring.
when you awake up,
then you forget the dream;
and i go far from you.
again i return,
at next night,
and enter in your dream;
but, i never come back,
at the night,
when the sky is completely moonless.
then i watch you from the sky,
and not enter in your dream;
oh ! no moonlight;
it is very bad for me !
but at that night,
you are not the sleepless;
also you have the dream,
but i am not in your dream;
and ,so you can not hear,
 my song also.
yet, i am your ever-dear !
my song,moon and your dream,
all are in a zeal;
and you are an angel also.
i have wings;
and you have no wings;
it is the difference between us.

Building and Burning (Inspired By 'The Streets Have No Name'

When I walked into the evening
The broken leaves began to laugh
The moon was almost smiling
And the sky was torn in half

In the one half lay the darkness
In the other steeped the stars
And I thought for just a minute
That the sky was throwing sparks.

There were people holding hands as
They danced around a lake
That the moon was being born in
And their song now makes me ache.

There was a soldier on a hilltop
And the sun it was his friend
So large it turned the sky red
And gave away the story's end.

On the corner of the street
Was a playground lined with swings
And I could only see it
Through the strange metallic strings.

And screaming to horizon
Was demanding desert sky
And I lived in an apartment
With the A. C. turned up high.

I banged the flimsy screen door
And disappeared that quick
Past the parking lot and drug store
In shining Spanish brick.

There are boxes, open doorways
To let in the warm light night
There are rows of harmless houses
Shining on the stars outside.

In the broken, golden leaf-fall
There are girls with determined hair
That claim they have found lost streets,
That Bono showed them where.

In the half with more than darkness
Are harmonics of the stars
And I looked from side to side
Then I knew the sky threw sparks

Premium Member A Bands and a Singers

Adam Lambert, a rare gift to this decade, reviving queen.
Seen no doubt in heaven by Freddy Mercury, the guy.
By the way, fine Aretha Franklin has also grabbed my heart.
Smart of me to fall in love with Andy Williams at young age.
Sage song Moon River still makes me smile all over the bedroom.
Looming into my mind is Al Hirt’s trumpet so big and bold.
Old to some. Can I say Alice Cooper and get a smile?

Miles along this path of memories are bands also, friend.
Send everyone to hear Alvin and the Chipmunks is you dare.
Harrowing to think of them alongside Allman Brothers right?
Might I suggest Aerosmith and Adele should take to the keys?
Please listen to sweet Ariana Grande next if you can.
Man up, turn on incredible volume of ABBA

Way out of my league are all of these A-list singers and bands.
Grandiose in appearance, especially that Adam fellow.
Funicello is still a favorite in my childhood day.
Way past hiding my age now. Confess Annette is her first name.
Game to listening to new singers, poets, bands of all kinds.

Siren Song

I thought I heard
an island siren croon
a sophisticated tune
with words in song
about the moon in June
as a big bright
and bold balloon
enchanting music
captured me
shipwrecked
my heart is all at sea
or am I wrong
imagining things
it's only the waves
and the wind that sings
