The days are cold and the nights get colder
Each of us finds ourselves another year older.
As Winter's snow will soon appear
Welcome to my "Holiday home' at this special time of year...
We prepare ourselves for a Thanksgiving fest
Many doors open to welcome their guests.
My home too, will be filled with those I hold dear
Welcome to my "Holiday home' at this special time of year...
The tree will be decorated with toys and lights
So many can enjoy the festive sights.
There is but one phrase that I'll want to hear
Welcome to my "Holiday home' at this special time of year..
Long ago, shepherds to the stable came
To honor the Child for Whom this day we name.
The Lord of All was so humbly born there
Welcome to my "Holiday home' at this special time of year...
Wise men, too, came from the Eastern lands
Riding their camels across the dessert sands.
Presenting Him with gifts of Gold, Frankincense, and Myrrh
Welcome to my "Holiday home' at this special time of year...
O'er the years the Holiday traditions we employ
As this is the time of year for us to enjoy.
But forget not the One whose birth returned man from fear
Welcome to my "Holiday home' at this special time of year...
bricks and bars and dirty white walls
nobody cares whenever you fall
nobody answers when you make collect calls
nobody thinks of you at all...
dropped like a dime in a bottomless well...can't wrap my mind around this man made hell
gladiators yell and guards cast lots...bettin life or death where warriors get popped
fists into flesh to amuse and amaze
the game never ends and it's not a bad dream...
doing time in the hate machine
never think of consequences...come to your senses
fried to a crisp on electrified fences
too late for repentance...no end to the sentence
division like insane incisions where racist pigs rule
reigning in blood,badges,and big black boots
peace signs like war crimes get tried...on the stand committing purgery
lying dirty devils soon put in soul surgery
no rest for the wicked,addicted,obnoxious and obscene...
doing time in the hate machine
cops,crooks,fall guys and mobsters gettin cooked,baked and boiled like lobsters
stick up kids leaving tire tracks and mile long skids
burning white lips from crackhead strips
gangster ghouls subtracting love and adding misery
black blanket parties inside perverts dreams...
doing time in the hate machine

STARVATION
WE WASTE OUR FOOD AND
DON,T THINK ONCE
WHEN WE THROW.
BUT THINK WHY FARMERS
DYING.
THE GOVERNMENT HAS SPENT
MILLIONS OF RUPEES.
BUT STILL THEY DIE,
WHO WILL ASK THEM WHY???
THIS IS TIME TO CHANGE
OUR ATTITUDE.
AND THINK DOES IT HAS TO
BE THE WAY IT IS.
STARVATION IS THE THING
WE STILL FACE.
WHO WILL THINK AND CHANGE.
SO MY PEOPLE IT'S TIME TO
THINK AND CHANGE.
STARVATION IS NOT THE THING WE
ARE LIVING FOR.
LET THEM ENJOY POWER OF NATURE.
AND DON'T LET THEM DIE.
“Progress Being”
The opportunity struck that I grew to find,
I took a risk and felt no urge to change my mind.
In the “now” to live my life without regrets
The game of life’s chance called roulette.
I don't think that I would be where I am today
If I didn’t live out yesterday!
What you see, is what you get
I’m the human in “progress being,” see who you met.
Aware of owning what I lead.
Aware of the strength that is rising through my feet.
Of choices I've made,
Of the ‘yin’ that I've saved.
Of the things that I've done,
My belief in myself, in another-you, and the One.
Forgiving of the words of my friends,
I know who they are to make mistakes, and make amends.
Follow my instincts, follow my inner star
It is the unedited version and real true radar.
On my sleeve I have worn to show my heart untamed
I am whole in the “real life” of moments and unashamed.
Double “A” free in actions. “Berkley,” free in mind, body, and spirit.
What comes next the guitar or good night dreams to visit?
The down beat is the inner drum,
Like the dark that feels the enigmatic rhythm.
Does not understand impact.
Does not like to get exact.
Understands the subtle feel.
Like authentic wine, whispered “sealed.”
As I wrote before, the timing in life is always NOW.
Perhaps that would be a philosophy as you know all to well in Tao.
Carpe diem another platitude or cliché’
It’s a waste of time to be high-browed as they say…... My focus is to be light and live
with a LEAP of Faith.
To share the positive things that we learned from our past
Takes time of building a rapport with another hopefully steadfast.
Getting to know someone to laugh with is a find.
Because what is learned and applied will not fall into the traps laid on NEW created paths
from behind.
Adding up my life, will total all my dreams.
I am counting all my blessings
And gifts like you that I receive
No matter what the expectation or what the other perceives.
I own my day and my thoughts,
Gentle not to challenge them to be fought. ?
Took this time to understand the perfect-imperfect
And the crinkled-pleat…
That I am what I am, who I am no defeat.
No sleep walking, hair untamed
“Progress being” is what is named.
There has never been a time since
Societies emerged,
In any generation where
Communities diverged.
Mankind is like the animals
Who gather into herds;
Proving he is no different
Than mammals, fish and birds.
It isn’t easy to accept,
But we can see what’s true.
If we investigate the facts,
And what applies to you.
Societies create guidelines
On how to look and act,
They tell us what is beautiful,
Acceptable in fact.
They convince us that our choices
Are made by us alone.
So we live with the illusion
That our will is our own.
We follow what is popular,
What helps us play our roles.
We even let society
Shape our dreams and goals.
What you think makes you different
Is nothing of the kind.
People who follow earthly trends
Don’t think with their own mind.
Look at that bellybutton ring,
Tattoo, or gothic style.
It’s evidence, provided for
Society’s profile.
You workout to shape your body
And fit the latest rage.
But all this effort does for you...
Is put you in a cage;
Along with all the other sheep
Who follow current trends.
If we were individuals,
Would we look like our friends?
For individuality
Will sail against the wind.
No gale created by its peers
Can make its mainsail bend.
Yet most are like the stars above,
Too many to number.
The vastness of the universe
Drives the soul to slumber.
And it is not until the flesh
Has withered on the bones,
That man can see that he’s been lost
Upon a sea of clones.
And when he finds that clarity,
At last he’ll understand;
The mountains that he feared to climb
Were only grains of sand.
They cry out with their final breath,
As they drift to the sea;
But youth pays no attention to
The old society.
Our understanding comes too late,
For time is moving swift.
A new society is born,
As generations drift.
And I can’t help but wonder if
You’ll also drift that far,
Before you sail against the wind,
And find out who you are.
Of those who have lost their places in life;
And may display their misgivings with a frown;
For them little time seems left for change;
And hope is at best the name of a jester now passed.
And on the bus bench sits an orator;
Chanting coos to the pigeons
While they feed upon droppings;
Of his spilled over indulgences.
And someone cries out to Jesus for justice;
But no one answers;
For there are only those of which;
Share the same destitutions that are listening
And I find myself piggybacking conceptualities;
And repeating what’s seen or heard; only to wonder if;
In the quantum of time to travel has;
This life we think we live; already come and gone.
And the shadows are now so much longer;
While fear becomes prevalent and stronger;
And when the time for to pay comes ever near;
Perhaps it’s those voices that cried out we’ll hear.
Who fears to dream these long cold nights?
After the darkness, misty lights
Borrowing time upon this earth,
Whether weakened or full of worth
Taking all into fearful sights,
Each thing we deliver ignites.
Mysticism along with frights,
Existing from time of our birth,
Who fears to dream?
Seeing ourselves in skyward flights,
Saving our souls from misted fights,
Questioning any outings mirth,
Securely suffering life’s girth,
Upon the dusk of filtered heights,
Who fears to dream?
my assignment for In Search Of The Human Mind (Fears)
The time I come
The time I stay
the time is here again.
The time once and for all
to be the one,
I really want to be.
But to be the one,
Thats really inside,
I must feel with all my heart.
And pick one,
the right one,
and the Two will be my Heart.
Then the Heart will come,
and I will be
who I am to be.
Then everyone will know,
What I can really be.
As I find out my Heart,
I must set myself free,
Free from the bonds of others.
The disappointments of all,
That come near me,
Things never work out.
But the one above,
Knows us all,
And will always make the way.
The way to our selfs,
and to share with others,
Our very Hearts.
