Best Shocked Poems
‘Turn swords into ploughshares and nightmares to dreams’
I have not one plough and no shares in the market
Insomnia has taken over my nights the rest is illusion
Ambitions are exhausted and hope has no yearning
Freedom dangles on the rope of puppet-less strings
Vacuum reflects an echo of silent ear bursting rasping
Dissonance oozes from cacophony’s apathetic rattle
The heavy clanger of other’s fraudulent forge melts disowned blood
Into ice in my veins as a purulent mind oozes vile battles' cries
Muted by trench feet scraping bottomless mind-fields and apathy
‘Pull yourself out of catatonia’s core-less pits’
But there is no kernel of truth and fruits of desire have rotted
To the acrid stench of a Self carefully lost on broken branches
Snapped composure looms over a well-trodden treacherous path
Carved into an involuntary hermit’s cave by a cliff edged road side
It is grave in the cavern in which vacant vagrants jumble their bones
Disconnect their last possession and wilfully trade skulls and bones
‘This too shall pass and so many others have been stuck in the rot’
And yet suffocation in some muddy sludge is sinking
Slowly and excruciatingly tempting to join forces of evil
A dark rusty anchor floats high on the unreachable ceiling
Time I have endless measures of but the world is upside down
I am out of the picture that has faded memories for the future
Dislodged and dismembered I am a powerful union of nothing
‘Change your perspective and find solace where it is hidden’
So he who is I from the distance finally lets go of unwarranted grip
Descends as far from the surface as possible beyond expectations
And finds footing of the shackles where the ploughshare should be
The spikes pierce my soles and my soul ostensibly drowned in sorrow
At least there is pain and some place in between scars to feel emotions
That tentatively nurture rescue apparently beyond impossible salvation
‘Your advice seemed hollow but there is some loving space left inside my shell’

Shocked, ashamed and mortified
How could a man from the church, a clergy man touch our young girls?
How do you look on a child for pleasure when you preach of honesty and trust?
How could you abuse the innocence of a young girl when she looked to you for guidance?
How many others have there been? I am sure it’s not just one
Is there any carrying your child?
Shocked, ashamed and mortified
How could you a man that calls on God look on a child for sexual pleasures...she's a child, she's now scarred for life, abused by the one man she should trust
You preach of wolf in sheep clothing and yet you were the wolf of which you speak ...she's damaged by your touch
Shocked, ashamed and mortified
The devil you speak of lives within you…you are your own demon
How can you look in the face of a child and rob her of her life ...how?
God, I don't understand why a man that calls your name… damaged this child ...Father why?
She will never be the same, the church she can't trust and neither can I ...Father God, she’s damaged for life
So now we see the teachers and preachers can't protect our child so how can they protect our soul?
She’s damaged for life
Shocked, ashamed and mortified
Humpty Dumpty had no yolk
As oft implied to younger folk.
This hatched idea in oviform
Should never have become the norm.
And so, before it is too late
I mean to set the record straight.
For Humpty was a tortoise bold
With hankerings to break the mould.
‘Why should it be?’ he’d often sigh
‘That we chelonians cannot fly?’
With lofty thoughts, aerodynamic
He climbed the wall – no sign of panic.
His oak-leaf wings in ten-fold ply
Assured success in his mind’s eye
But birds in flight looked on in dread
Knowing too well what lay ahead!
It's great to hold high aspirations
But best to know one’s limitations!
Now Humpty is content to roam
At leisure in his mobile home.
THE MYSTERY OF HUMPTY DUMPTY CONTEST

Shocked,
I don't know where to turn
Or even who to speak to
I feel lost and don't know
Where I am headed
This was a life changing day
I believe no one will understand
Everyone can say
Keep your head up
Stay strong
Believe in god
But when all else fails
Who else do you have?
YOU!!
And nobody seems to understand me
The rage,
The anger,
The sorrow
Why me?
I keep replaying it in my head
Why me?
I ask myself again
Help, Help me out of this space
Please GOD!!!
I can not hurt anymore
All the pain I've already endured
I can deal with this
NO LONGER!
in the midst of joy,
they die unexpectedly,
leaving shocked hearts blue
Neat rows of shocked grain in fields
Just sounds of sickle's blade sweep
Laborers walk swiftly in teams
Meooow~~cat's tail squeezed
Meooow~~meoow cat's tail squeezed
As workers lift those bundles
Tie the wheat into neat shocks
The setting sun slides
As that sun sets behind hills
Laborer and cat head home
Warm hearth, warm meal, rocking chair
Meoooo~~cat's tail squeezed

When a person got a shock,
A film acrossed into a mind,
To identify the truth,
I watched in television, I were shocked,
When a Hindu group provoked valentine Day.
Also burnt a skeleton of Saint Martin,
My mind touched known and unknown,
A Tragic gaps of human development,
They tacked my sleep in pain,
Why did I so shock?
Mary was pregnant,
But nobody touched her,
Nobody raped her.
She got a Birth, ’Lord Jesus’
He is known the son of God.
He sacrificed for him,
To establish the image of God,
Justice and equality,
Liberty and fraternity,
Faith and worshipping.
But in Mahabharta,
Kunti also got a baby Karan,
Nobody raped and touched her body,
Her lover was a divine ‘SUN,
His warrior son was accepted as untouchable.
He has his fight against insult,
Equality was a matter for him,
When Kunti realised herself ‘a mother,
He sacrificed himself for Pandavs.
Lord Krishna failed to identify ‘Karan’.
Lord Shiva didn’t touched ‘Anjani,
He dropped simon in her Ear,
With a support of a Bamboo stick,
She got a baby, ‘Hanuman’
He supported Lord Rama to win Lord Rawana.
In Ramayana, when Hanuman,
He went to search Sita,
Sita got her Pregnancy,
Lord Rama banished Sita
And denied, ‘She hasn’t got her Child’.
But Lord Rawana also denied,
He didn’t touched Sita,
Who was unknown person who met to Sita,
He was Hanuman,
But history didn’t reckon his face.
Nature always delivered,
A message of God when human denied him,
He served natural disasters,
Or He sent Prophets with his message,
God never born himself; what is a distinction?
Sister Bree got engaged on the balcony that day.
Bright was shocked, for he was the one who “got away”.
She thought he would come to his senses finally.
In her heart, Derrick B. Works suited her to a T.
Sister Bree was shocked, she barely knew this guy.
But she liked engagements; we did not wonder why.
She loved gifts, and collected them, with an affected sigh.
Milking all she could out of each and every smitten guy.
Bright’s tears were flowing, she could not abide the sight.
So she leapt off the balcony in October, on that very night.
Not ever knowing Derrick and Bree were practicing for her.
But now she’s an angel, guiding them both, all-knowing and pure.
So shocked
That I’m speechless
For senseless
Rumors that can impact
The rays of the Sun.
This is no fun
To think about
The unthinkable. Run
Run, fly like a day bat
That has been rocked.
It is painful
To fathom
This dull axiom
It is hurtful
This is no fun.
What a shame
Fair game
Is no longer fun
This sorry society
Is full of hypocrisy.
Double standard
Against the nerd
This is a tragedy
For the sake of decency
Fly, run; this is no fun.
Run, run, run
Fly, fly like a night bat
This is what, what
I am talking about
Run, under the rays of the Sun.

There's someone I've got eyes for
That someone's grabbed my heart
Indications not exuded
Signals don't impart
But inside's a different story
That's where it all plays out
The butterflies when I see her
Do divebombs without a doubt
And when I hear her sing her songs
I'm brought down to my knees
In essence, not in substance
It's there where I was seized
Hello Everyone
I can't believe I just won my one hundredth contest.
Its a shock that I have placed in so many the little time I have been here.
I want to thank everyone for being such great friends and always leaving such
nice and sweet comments on my poetry.

A baby was born
He
So small and perfect
Was
Ten fingers and toes
Too
An angelic baby girl
Alive
They called her Cammy
To
A bundle of Joy
Die
She
He had 4 children
Giggled
And 6 grandchildren
Easily
Grampy the toddlers squealed
Amused
Young at heart, 70 to the eye
What
Shocked was putting it mildly
Absolute
10 worlds turned upside down
Perfection
Here, in this writing
table, I'll not
return
The song of night
and lonely owl
I'll not hear
For jazz music of fox
in biting cold
I'll not wait
For devastated couple
under street lamp post
I'll not write a couplet
Cause, O' love, you're
living on the rose of
other
Here, my rose and fragrance
is withered and make a
crying of rock!

The eyelids are heavy with sleep
As I fall into the deep
No turning back awake
Even if my shoulder, you shake
Domestic noises in the background
Adding various notes to my snoring sound
I dream of greatness,unlocked
They will with mouths agape, be shocked
I forgot that the heart beats.
I've been robotic.
Thought is unneeded.
Emotions are useless.
But a sudden shock to the system,
Reminds me...
My heart beats.
It was easy,
I've been busy,
Then the news came,
I am alive again.
Apart of me wishes I wasn't.
Knowing that someone I loved passed,
I wish,
I stayed robotic.
That news made me feel again.
I've become aware of my heart.
My system is shocked.
