we cannot pinpoint the day nor time when God created all that we see
but we know when fire was introduced as a part of mankind's destiny
fire gave birth to many things it's a blessing and a burden as well
it has many good properties but it also burns in hell
that which has the most potential for good has the most potential for evil too
but as long as we don't abuse fire it's Godly purpose will stay true
now Pentacost was the day when all men were on one accord
a Feast of the Harvest to celebrate the goodness of the Lord
on that day a mighty wind rushed over everyone
and all were set on fire by the Holy Spirit of the Heavenly Son
the Holy Spirit is the comforter and the essence of God's kind
the Holy Spirit is the presence of God that soothes our troubled minds
set on fire a burning bush was what Moses did see
in the presence of God awaiting direction for Israels' destiny
set on fire those three young Jewish men when into an inferno they were thrown
for refusing to bow down to any other only to the God that they had known
set on fire to remove the dross and impurities in life
set on fire by the Holy Spirit of Our Lord Jesus the Christ
baptism by fire to be purified by the spirit of the Lord
like on the day of Pentacost when all were on one accord
to be cleansed of all anger, all hurt, all bitterness and all of the pain
now filled with the Holy Spirit energized and enlightened in Jesus' name
an internal combustion has occured for from within you've been set on fire
a new passion has erupted for by the Spirit you've been inspired
now powered by the Holy Spirit infused with the octane that is Jesus Christ
set on fire with the need to live a more Godly life
Pentacost the day when all felt the presence of the Holy Lord
set on fire speaking in tongue yet all were on one accord
The moon
has settled
in on us, as
the sun has
gone away
The night
we thought we’d
never see, has
come to replace
the day
The love
we thought
would live forever
is breathing its
last breath
It fought
to live for
quite some time
but now has
nothing left
Our
diminished
love will live
its days in darkness
and in night
A place
beleaguered
by the cold
without the
warmth of light
We had
our chance
at timeless
love, but alas
its fate was met
Our time
in love is
at an end
as the sun
has sadly set

Our love
will always
see the sun,
shining down
so bright
Feeling
all its rays
forever, while
basking in
the light
Like an
ancient empire
in its prime,
our love is
broad and strong
A love that
could rule
the entire world
and last forever
long
Our love
has never
seen the stars,
and the moon
it’s never met
What a
shame its
never relaxed
at dusk to view
a grand sunset
Our love
for each other
will last forever,
our passion
so profound
The light
will continue
to surround our
love, for the sun will
never go down

Having, with hope and faith, overcome
past moonless night-like trials and tribulations,
I meet today's sunshine-ones with Gilead's balm;
Be aware that each living day and night has its race,
and there is no need to jump the gun in disqualification;
for it's not about coming in first place, but finishing the race:-
Indeed, it's all about an old Japanese proverb's awareness:
"don't worry about being slow; worry about standing still";
for each challenge is about crossing over the finish line:-
We will always have trials and tribulations; even when liberated;
thus let us ever take heart in overcoming and fearing nothing,
seeking strengthening by the ever present hand of God's love:-
In the race of life, it's not so much about the dreamer, but the dream;
for along the trial and tribulation track, the dreamer may suffer and fall,
but the divine will have the dream's baton pass on towards the finish line:-
As Blk Bok and Langston long ago immortally pended,
the hustle and bustle of today, is as real as it has ever been;
life remains to crystal stairway, but an ever winding staircase:-
And in every winding staircase, around each and every turn,
we encounter new unexpected challenges starring us in the face;
thus, with Jacob-like hope and faith, we must track life's staircase:-
Listen, when the treacherous mountainous staircase of life challenges you,
poke toes of hope, heels of strength, and with tongue of faith, yell loudly
"get the hell out of my way, I'm on a God's finish-line-track; coming in first!"
putting my
backpack
back on
my back
takes me
back to
days
past
i can't re
tire because
i've never been
tired of this kind
of living which
always gives
me not a
feeling
of a rush
but one of
slowing down
the pace and
knowing that
somehow i've
been here
before
life of
a once
i was
told i
was
an
