Best Segregated Poems
The rule makers declare us separated for eternity,
different race, clashing cultures, incompatible?
Borders cannot segregate our heartbeats.
Distance is a matter of physical entity.
We share the same sky and moonlight.
Love falls prey to diplomatic ramblings,
resulting in abomination of emotional upheavals.
Outlaws we shall become to our desires.
We paint with the color of our future offspring.
A universal appeal for love we portray.
Lawful hatred defied, illegal love confirmed.
Intersecting divergent, petty governments.
Classifications, labels, passports, we shred.
Hindu, Christian, white, black, indigenous, native,
all will fall into the bed of unified mankind.
The clothing of restrictions shall vanish.
Two lovers shatter continental boundaries.
Passion breaks traditional laws,
harmony we find in rebellion.
While poetry binds our lonely souls.
Another colaboration with Smriti Jha.
Within the shadow of a broken heart,
Darkness decrees its penumbra of night…
Obscurity ovulates embryonic entrapment,
Where solitudes silence the seismic still…
Masquerading malevolence gives a chill,
Walking alone a fragile forlorn fragment…
Lonely landscapes of dreams despite,
Where sorrows surface and hopes depart…
Hide my disposable dehumanizing heart,
For the nightmares reign within the light…
The loneliness lingers upon the lions’ lament,
And the teratogenic tears of tomorrow refill…
Silent screams surround my serpentine shrill,
The fearsome fallen angels are hellion sent…
For within the mist of sadness they delight,
Within the shadow of a broken heart.

Segregated from something,
This heart is not accepting;
Apologies are not being granted,
Mistakes do not get repeated;
Yes, there are values,
Yes, I get negative clues;
But, it's not worth enough,
And such actions I don't deserve;
Disheartened with day-to-day happenings,
Still Being normal see how I am acting;
The World believes I should shut my mouth,
And give pains whenever they want to take out;
My body is weakening, My intellectuals mourning,
But my smile cover every single thing;
Expectations from come from our work,
Don't ambush them whenever you want to hurt.
Segregated but I am still in the mix
This is something we need to fix
Race should not be an issue
But it is for my clan
As a Man you forgot about the wonders of Grace!
You are the same colour as I am
But you would ram me into the wall
Hoping that I would fall
Your prayers are filled with jealousy
Your misery sets in
The expression is seen on your face
Yet you smile using it as a weapon
Race should not be an issue
But it is for my clan
Segregated but I am still in the mix
