Premium Member A Letter From My Angel (Part Ii)

Dear Susan,

I am an angel. An angelic being. I'm of the order of the first sphere- an angel who serves
as a heavenly counselor. I'm a cherabim. You may call me Cherabim.
Beyond the thrones are the cherabims. I am a gaurdian of light, and the stars. Remote
from the plane of reality, still my life touches your life, the divine light that filters down from
Heaven.
Last night, you focused so much on light. You needed light to offset the darkness in which
you knew you could not see. You saw the beauty that light could give you to see what was
right in front of your eyes. You chose fire and wax. Exquisite candles and lighters to light
them. This morning you saw the light, and it was good.
On the way home there was light in the sky; a silver sliver of a moon and a twinkling
bright star, yes, Cherabim talking to you! It was good!

With Light and Counsel,

Cherabim

Jah

Who is he that can show light its dwelling place?
Or carve destiny in to the hands of man or stud it in the sky?
Who is he that makes Earths foundation tear and shake?
And instructs the morning birds to sing their lullabies?

Who is he whose words cut through soul and rock palely?
Whose eyes behold day and night in similitude?
Who adorns the brightest light as a garment faithfully?
Who replaces the pugnacious sun with the placid moon?

Who is he that can burn a flame or drown a sea?
Whose semblance causes trembling to tremble?
Or who knows the beginning and end of infinity?
It is the same who knows, loves and created all.

I Love All You Believers Number Two

Turn round, turn round
And face your fears
Turn round see who you really are
Turn round and follow the compass rose
Turn round and see the Lord
He was there all the time
But I couldn’t see
Immersed in all that dark stuff
Turn round and see
The opposite of dark is light
But there is no reason to live in shadows
When the light of the Lord shines
Shine, on, shine on believers all to see
Shine on me, oh light of the Lord
Shine on me, and that’s why
I love all you who believe.

Perfection

Oh, that I were perfect
Full of endless love and compassion
Empathetically embracing charity
Giving selflessly from the depths of my soul.
Loving and forgiving painlessly, wisely
Enduring all manner of evil without hatred
Without complaint
Without anger
Always…
Forever forsaking faults
Free of revengeful inklings.
Never dreaming of another’s calamity.
Never dwelling on ill wishes.
Never noticing imperfections in others
Charitable in thought and deed.
Sharing my soul…my talents…my hopes…my dreams.
Selflessly looking toward the well being of others.
Putting their needs before my own.
Endlessly overlooking bitterness sent my way.
Never indulging in envy or covetousness.
Returning hatred and envy with kindness.
Never misinterpreting another’s intentions.
Never speaking harshly
Never making a mistake
But, alas, I am not faultless.
The road to perfection is an uphill climb.
Introspection makes the direction clearer.
Desire for improvement shines light upon the path.
Endurance is the key.
Love is the essence.
Forgiveness a must!
God forgives.
Shall we, also, and find peace…eternally?
I say yes, with God’s help
Through the perfect love of Christ –
His love is the light of the world.
Perfection is my goal.
Forgiven…forgiving –
Faultless, before the Father
Perfected through the eternities.

The Eternal Chess Game

Down the narrow unending hallway of my keep,
To the last door on the left,
I rest my head for a moment of sleep.
As I fade to dream I see a tunnel of light,
A small space of illuminated madness,
Where demons cringe and angels delight.

A place long ago hidden and known by few,
Where the sands of time have come to a still,
A maze of light and darkness is what I have come to.
I realize I am not in heaven, nor in hell,
But rather in a impermeable shell.
Surrounding the purity of the light,
Lies the beast of the night.

An unyielding guardian of incredible might
Displaying unholy darkness,
Taunting and teasing the light.
"Come on out .." he would seem to say.
Away from its shell,
The light did dare not stray.

For within the virginity of heaven's keep,
The angel of light finds his peaceful haven,
A place so pure even the horrid beast dares not to creep.
He knows his limitations,
Regardless of the how strong his power has become,
Forever shall he cower at the grace of revelations.

Yet revelations alone are not to contain the beast,
No not in the least.
Limitations like rules are meant to be broken,
Bountiful evil incantations are repeatedly spoken.
The spell of light that feels the need to control,
Becomes undone,
All from the darkness of one evil soul.

Yet there in the heart of the darkness the light remains to be free,
No matter how hard to darkness tries to invade,
The purity of the light holds the key.
A never ending struggle within the mind of one,
Light upon the darkness, a balance never to be won,
Forever shall the chess game continue,
Neither one to give an inch,
Neither one to be outdone...

Court Date

I am posting this for Carol B., there is only one way my friend.

“How do you plead?” he shouted and stared.
I was startled and dazed, alone, cold, and scared.
My mind was confused and starting to race.
What are these charges I now seem to face?

Last thing I remember, was hitting my head.
Maybe that’s it, I thought, maybe, I’m dead.
It was difficult to orient myself to the room,
giving off an impending deep feeling of doom.

A husky voice bellowed, “Do you have a plea?”
I didn’t understand what was happening to me.
“It’s a simple little question. I’ll ask once again.
In the life you were given, were you guilty of sin?”

I was seeking composure, unsure what to do.
I stammered confessing, “There have been a few.”
He began to unravel a lengthy white scroll.
As he scanned down the pages, I saw his eyes roll.

I wanted to speak, not knowing if I should.
Then, “Guilty as charged!” as gavel struck wood.
“But wait” I objected, “That doesn’t make sense.
Have I no opportunity to mount a defense?

I have made mistakes like your document reads,
but I’ve given my time, done many good deeds.”
He gave me a nod, but proclaimed, “It’s too late!
The presence of sin cannot pass through the gate.

The works you have done are not up for review.
Our directive is simple, who gets to go through.
Your sentence is death!” he proceeded to say.
“How will you resolve this debt you must pay?”

I felt my knees buckle as I dropped to the floor.
A light started glowing like I’ve not seen before.
A resounding voice then began to cascade.
“By the blood of the lamb, his debt has been paid!

For, he hath proclaimed his faith in the Son.
So written in the Word, now let it be done.”
That gavel slammed down an ear-popping sound.
“In light of the evidence that now has been found,

with debts all paid up and a life free of sin …,
well done faithful servant, you may now enter in.”
As a door opened up, light shown on my bed.
My wife said, “Wake up! I know you’re not dead.”

My Rock

When the crack lands on the ice in me

Where will you be?

When the flash lights up the eyes that be

Will you see?

When the darkness swallows the dimmest

Will your light manifest?

When brimstone falls in tongues and cloves

Will there be greenery and light for the gentle dove

Carved in the cages of my sympathy

There is a mighty that preserves empathy

Down in that which cradles my brain is the inscription “my belief.”

There the cries of doom are blocked and faith sums my relief

Oceans of Light

Oceans of Light,
As it washes clean our hearts tonight,
It emits a presence stronger than a rock.

The men of knowledge say steel outweighs the rock.
Until a fire is ignited, I say,
Melting all the steel away.
But then water cools the flames,
And the clouds soon absorb the acclaim.
The angels are of light, as they move the clouds, and pour the rain.
But the light of the angels is maintained
By the Oceans of Light, I say again.

The Oceans of Light,
Are men without fright,
Is a woman with her faces beautifully bright,
Is nature with its wonderful sights,
Is ecstasy with its numbing delight.

The Oceans of Light is the scholar's pen,
The fighter's blade,
Our prayer's amen,
And the forest's shade.

It is the truth, hidden away,
A message only some can convey.
It is a mystical feeling,
An esoteric meaning,
A spiritual kingdom beneath our feet,
A peaceful abode our reality deletes.

Lamp and a Light

Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path
i stay completely unafraid of wickedness and wrath
i stay guided and guarded through the cold and the heat
peaceful neighborhoods to graffiti ghetto streets
i march with the word while the wicked they weep...
where junkies in jungles stay hooked like pirahnas on potients and poisons and funeral beats

Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path
never hung up or strung up on the sins of my past
i carry torches of truth burning holes in the night
the darkness it flees from invasions of light
the crooked get straight and the blind they have sight
i keep marching into battle by His miracles and might

Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path
soaked and scorched in acid rain demons get a holy bath
a holy blast of godly power
evil empires crumble fast
setting free the refugees from those concentration camps

through trials and tears and year after year
tested and trusted and tough enough to last
Your word is a lamp unto my feet and a light unto my path

He Is

The maker, the keeper of wisdom, the truth and light
Your ways steeped in darkness of the land
You are the maker of ignorance, dark destroyer of right
The earth is kissed by the sky, a gift from God
The maker

We step onto the path of stars, destined to make celestial history
First of a kind, last of a kind are we falling from his grace
Never again to see the light of heavens warm embrace
Man is kissed by the sky, a gift from God
The maker

Dust to dust, ash to ash and all that will return again
While we sit and rust in earthly sins, can you not feel?
Do not be asleep when you are called to come home
The graves are kissed by the sky, a gift from God
Life's taker
