Dust, sweep and mop
Run to three or four shops
Polish silver 'til it shines
Did we forget to buy wine

Countdown to Sabbath's begun
So many chores to be done
Ready or not, it's time to bench licht*
  Friday goes by dizzy quick...

Now the Sabbath does appear
On dove's wings of purest cheer
Our tired feelings dissipate
  Blessings soothe, reinvigorate

Refresh and restore
  Over holy books we pore
Eat delicacies and treats
  Meals pleasant and sweet

Time now to repair to sleep
To relax and dream dreams deep
Of Sabbaths wrapped in mists of yore ~
  Messianic Era to point toward

__________________________________
*to bench licht is Yiddish. It means to light
candles (for the Sabbath or a Festival) with
a blessing. 'Licht' is pronounced as a
guttural, more like 'kh' as in the Russian
'khorosho,' 'good.' It is not pronounced like
the 'ch' in 'chin' or in 'Chicago.'

Note:

This is a statement of praise, inspired by the work of poetess Rama, and is made to honor Constance la France, the wonderful poetess, who is always ready to offer support, explain problems, and help others. I appreciate her poetry and eloquent expressions as well, and her posts do a lot to brighten my day.

The entire poem is built around Ms Constance's long list of titles, with only a few words added to present it as a poem in its entirety.

Salvation In Rivers of Babylon

In the grip of Rivers of Babylon
Arise to consolidate your fight for faith
And God pain and strain from your comfort zone
Will slay to renew and reinvigorate the breath

Essential to make a way
To the salvation you deserve
As on bended knees you pray everyday
Your God in due season you serve

Reminding the Devil is a liar
Whose maneuvers to lead you astray
Can no longer soar higher
When into your life returns the ray

God shines brighter and brighter
Clearing dark clouds
That for an instant held you tighter
Enveloping you in doubt shrouds

You fight better and better
As faith grows stronger
To break away the sin and temptation fetter
The Devil squeezed a little longer

When you prevaricated
Granting him room to ensnare you
As your faith vacillated
Until your faith resolve in Babylon grew anew

To consolidate your path to salvation
Whacking the Devil
Into submission
Alongside his bags and tags teeming with evil.

Wrongfull Imprisonment

Wrongful Imprisonment

I am bowing again, in prison, no advocate to plead my case;
Forcefully constrained: by years and years of hardship and lack.
Believing, this was meant to be; this was all I was meant to be;
Who will render help to me? Who will compassionately deliver me?
Who!?! Who will relieve me of these chains? Who will set me free?
Who will truly inspire and influence my ideas to flow freely again?
If not you, who? If not you my psyche; who, who will ease this strain?
And revive, reactivate, reinvigorate and re-energise this slothful brain.

It has been a long sentence; the longevity of this imprisonment has expired;
Psyche, you have to arise, rekindle the fire; for betterment, wholly desire.
Divorce the priceless treasures of bronze shackles and the iron chains;
A new day dawns; a better purpose awaits; visualise beyond the boundaries.
No limits! None! No limits to my imagination, no limits to my life’s ambitions!
I have been paroled, I have another opportunity; I must fulfil my destiny.
I must fully reverse the effects of African degradation and slavery!
I must transform by renewing my mind: when I think liberty, I will be free!
	                                                                 End

Tongue Twister Time

Tongue twister line:
From the rustic rover to Samuel Sanders, they try to tickle the tongue with tricky tongue twisters.

1. A rustic rover round the ricks ran restlessly, and restive, he rushed to the nearby rural rill to reinvigorate himself. Then whoever he met, he ranted and raved with him or her with reckless arrogance. Revivified and rejuvenated, the vagrant straggler across the riverbank rumbled and rumbled , and trounced a regal recluse that triggered a fiery ruction. Then another rowdy ragamuffin slapped him hard and a furious rabble raised an unprecedented rumpus.

2. Samuel Sanders, a saucy salesman with sable brow, had an ancestral house in Sussex, but since he was a man of gypsy psyche, of late he strayed into Surrey and settled there for squarely six months, and then set out to straggle across the Sicilian seashore seeking psychological solace in the serene and suave sound of the seawaves.

3. You can't put a better bit of butter on your platter because a martyr did shatter the packet of your butter as it did welter in the gutter, but that waiter did cater you this later, muttering about an utter butter-hater from Gloucester with bitter hauteur.

The Rain

You restore, you reinvigorate,

Unstinting; give life.

You destroy, you refrain,

Stubborn; take life.

Rain O rain,

Thy blessing, thy sting…

Happy New Year

Touch wood Baby! wish you a happy new year,
Blowing cheerful cacophony in your ear.
Fling aside the sadistic sorrow my dear,
Let us clear from your mind, the infertile fear.
Life is not a cuban cigar,
As time passes you wont wear,
So, stop the clarion cry that you are on sear.

A black suite with diamonds studded as they appear,
To heal it, bald sun works restlessly and he might retire,
Raise yourself there, as a glowing sapphire.
Set your standards farther, bigger and higher,
Insurrection against all odds, maketh you not to cower.
At logger heads dont stagnate as a fence sitter,
Decide once, move ahead, iron hearts never jitter.

Resusciate the bloodied life and place it safer,
Reinvigorate the mummified hope and make it merrier.
Prove your antagonists rants as a classic sattire.
Sunny days ahead, dont roam around without a nice attire,
As you will be noticed as a superstar of this year.
Raise the toast, once again, happy new year,
Nothing on earth could belittle our cheer.

Eyes In the Tall Grass

Refined smells of life ripening sunlight
Distil the dawn with sharp visions to reinvigorate
I’m seen through eyes in the tall grass
Drinking life from fresh air's revitalising glass

Crops rippling in the breeze like buoyant spirits
Rise like a live stage performance through the mist
Thick like a page out of this day’s publication
To a new chapter lifted to the blue sky with anticipation

Nourishing the majestic oak with new waters from upstream
To naturally continue their meander of living a dream
A memory of tears washed empty of all yesterdays
Enters my garden like a crisp straw of ambiance

And when the quiet of night does come, it’ll be swift
From leaves to humus on a wind's sudden shift
For I’m on life’s assembly line – death’s bucket list
Warmth slips over my abandoned remains like a red sunset

Premium Member My Indulgence

working hard to achieve set goals
is an indulgence that lifts my soul

time to rest, reflect and recreate
helps me internally reinvigorate

eating good food whose taste lingers
makes me repeatedly lick my fingers

admiring all that is beautiful
keeps me smart and youthful

going out to explore nature’s histories
helps me uncover many a mysteries

praying, meditating, and learning to love
prepares my soul to transcend as a dove

Link, Think But Don'T Sink

Think, slink, clink, dink
At sunup, at sunshine and sunset
Wink, link, but don’t drink, stink or sink
If happiness escapes your purview. Don’t get upset

When your world spins crazy
Out of control as your life’s patrol
Rides in a maze pride to get hazy and fuzzy.
It’s time to take a stroll in Fall

To reinvigorate your bliss brand and liberate
Your mind from a plethora of mischief
And misconception as you serrate
Chains stuck on your conscience by a belief and leaf

That cry, fly and spy to steal and peel reason
From your soul and snatch the glory goal
Enveloped in the choice and voice treason
Struggles to bury in hurry in a despair hole.

Potent Partners and Creepy Corners

Qualities of the person in the mirror lie within you
Moulded, built and boosted by friends and associates you choose
Although to ascend the next level blood fresh and new
Needed in a cruise

Beyond agile ambitions and inputs
From the fickle feeds you tap
To traverse thrifty throughputs
Flying higher in the next lap

That your profile raises from tapping the best asset sets
You possess in terms of potential
Lying dormant within presets
That catapult you into and beyond quintessential

Processes and procedures injecting multiple new ideas
Gleaned and mixed at the right moment
To harness contributions from proteas
Whose petals and sepals elicit from you a comment

About aspirations and inspirations you culture and nurture
When from the stagnation vulture you flee
Cultivating an outgoing culture
As you heed from a sage the plea

That to your life’s core attracts fruitful feeds
Your status quo requires
To break free of creeds
Discredited and diluted by pyres and tyres

Rolling forward without advances
Essential to scale new heights
Which in your life enrich stances
You adopt to consume bites

Whose ingredients by nature and formulation
Complete your aspiration process
To new heights your assumption
Depends upon to register tangible progress

That harvests new knowledge
Skills and other attributes
Upon which your future prospects rely to deliver the message
Whose substance and form determine types of roots

That sink deep
Catalyzing celerity requirements
To reinvigorate white wings whose sweep
Enriches your investment increments

Paying off
Upon bestowing on you potent partners
Enjoining and urging you never to loaf
Or potent partners won’t rescue you from the snare in creepy corners.

Dreary Days of Covid-19 With a Silver Lining

Isolating in flee,
Ouch its hurting me,
Healthy global world clock is stopping,
Slowly disemminating virus,
And the moonless night are popping!
You can see that,
Yeah,You can see that!

Locking down into the home quarantine,
Our healthy happy lives are byzantine.
Diving down deep into the loop of darkness,
Hoping one day beyond the clouds,
The powerful Sun will surely rise!

Way I see it,
At the cost of humanity,
Terribly tearing the respiration,
Restless feeling,
We are in suffocation.
Turning fragile body into ashes,
Splash of seconds,
And dumped into ocean trashes!

If you ask me,
Insanely sick of those emerging polluted minds,
Endless slaveries of this Master intertwined,
No friends,No hugs,No last rites,
Only in return,
They want to trigger a biological war fights!

In my estimation,
Corona Viruses are mounting pain,
Leading towards the financial strain!
Economically affecting the market,
Dramatically dropping down the target!

In my own conceit,
Such a divine place our Universe was,
Just praying God,
End this breathless memory of Corona-virus disease,
And Reinvigorate us with the life's new phase!

Save us Almighty,
Once again Embrace us mother nature.
By expressing our deep gratitude towards you,
Please give us another chance to live this life again,
And forgive the mankind for all what we did wrong to you!

Severe Nostalgia

whilst bored as ****
sitting in front of the
screen, wanting to
remember better days,
wanting to feel like it
never ended, wanting to
feel young again, wanting
to have the heart stir,
wanting to feel the ears
pang with noise,
wanting to sway in the crowd,
wanting it all to
seem better again &
alive,
oh, so alive---
s/he turns to youtube,
wonderful, blissgiving
youtube,
who stores the footage of said
favorite bands of
yesteryear &
s/he starts to watch & relive,
watch & relive,
pondering how back then
in such a wonderful state of awe,
s/he really didn’t know a thing,
s/he had no idea of just how quick
it would all go away &
becoming jealous of the wandering
youth of today &
becoming spiteful, bitter &
with all those horrible flooding notions,
s/he gets angry at her/his favorite
band, who,
like her/him,
has rotted away as well,
sold out, disappeared & then
pathetically attempted to resurrect &
reinvigorate,
a corpse that was no longer relevant or
energetic, to say the least &
with a 1000 tears blistering inside,
s/he mutter to her/himself in the
deep dark seclusion
of a night spent home in front of the
screen,
“this, is how i want to remember them…yes,
this is how i want to remember them,”
knowing all to well that
“then,”
is all s/he wants to remember.
