Best Recognising Poems
It’s not all too obvious to the naked eye;
You have to pause and think and ask yourself “why?”
It’s not superficial, although, often beauty is there,
You have to look deeper to find beauty beyond compare.
Deep inside the heart of Earth’s crust,
Hidden amid the many layers of dirt and dust
Is a wealth of beauty for us to behold:
Sapphires and diamonds and nuggets of gold.
On the face of it the portrait may seem bland,
Nothing really special, nothing all that grand
And yet, with a little restoration and loving care
We can find the true worth that was always there.
If the same principle in life is applied
Then of people’s true beauty we won’t be denied;
We’ll recognise how beautiful they really are
And feel all the richer for it and be happier by far.

This play of attraction and repulsion
plays out within the realm of space and time
wherein free will may choose resonation
with vibrations of divine love sublime
Slowed down vibrations in our waking state
enable us to calibrate our heart
that by abiding in stillness sedate
we recognise all are one, none apart
Fixating attention in the vast void
we relinquish control by surrender
throbbing with rapture, by bliss currents buoyed
beholding our soul ascent in wonder
Thought rested, love suffused silence the way
Through day and night, to rhythm of God sway

Within each sentient being love shines,
illumined by crystal clear divine light,
cognised by soul, when head with heart aligns,
seeing God in all through spherical sight,
recognising life as play of delight.
Outer world thus appears and disappears,
as blissful tranquil calm, our each pore spears,
with essence of presence suffused with joy,
detached vibrancy, the oath of all seers,
immune from desires that try to decoy.

Fleeting is joy and traumatic is pain
We oscillate between desires and fears
Granted free will but soon boon becomes bane
Challenges of earth life drives us to tears
We set goals but horizon disappears
Like a spoilt child, endless is our wish list
Dwelling in delusion till light appears
Love alone is real and that’s the gist
Oh, how long will we measure loss and gain
Walking the tightrope, as our ego leers
Joyous in sunshine, sorrowful in rain
We cry for help but it seems no one hears
Seeking touch divine, that endlessly cheers
Shift to an open heart and unclenched fist
It’s then that we break through divine frontiers
Love alone is real and that’s the gist
Erst fears and desires, whence all to rest lain
Boundless bliss fills us, as God’s presence nears
Again pure like a child, we’re free from stain
Transfixed in joy that each pore of form spears
Magnetic current that grips and endears
At each step, caress divine does assist
Soul transits from lower to higher gears
Love alone is real and that’s the gist
Days turn into months and years into years
Our vaporised self, becomes a bliss mist
God’s grace bountiful, our life journey steers
