Success Is a Questionnaire

videos don't lie
so just confide

i'm not lazy
just disable

give me a break
for heaven sake

i may not vote
i'm human folk

in a counttry where hopes
is what we grope

dreams is what we share
and success is a questionnaire

Million Dollar Questionnaire

You question me time and time
I've told you every time
But I guess I didn't give you the answer you wanted
So yet you still ask hoping to get your requested reply
I've told you every time I've taken this survey
I did not lie!

Questionnaire

I can feel you holding me tight, While I am sleep during the night.
In my dreams,I see what you are thinking.
A thunder cloud bursts as if you are speaking.
I wake up to hear the pitter-patter of your feet.
The freshness of your voice makes my blossoms smell sweet.
I knew you were there because my day went right.
I met a lover who also wants to hold me tight.
Together their is nothing we can't do,
cause deep in my heart ; I belive that it was you.
A sword had been drawn, filling me with hope to carry on;
with my reason to ware;as I had been born.

Questionnaire

Got a jury questionnaire –
They really have some nerve!
I’ve paid my dues; I’m not so young
And I don’t wanna serve!

There must be people willing
Or who haven’t once been called.
Perhaps it’s time the system
Was completely overhauled.

Let all of us who’ve served before
Be evermore exempt,
Or else they’ll have to deal with
Someone totally verklempt!*

*flustered, nervous, overwhelmed (Yiddish)

Loves Questionnaire

I was handed a questionnaire
And asked to fill it out the best I could
With #2 pencil in hand
I saw the questions were on love

I've never once questioned my love for you
I've studied hard, I've studied well
That's why the first box I marked off as true
When asked if I'd give my all to you

It asked things like would it be alright
If I held you tight the rest of my life
I marked that box all of the above
Cause isn't that what you do for love

It then asked if love was meant to last
It talked of the future in view of the past
That question was adorned in essay form
I filled up one page but could have filled two more

I started off by writing
True love only looks straight ahead
The past is past, no need looking back
And should be buried along with the dead

Which means if you dig it up enough
The only thing it does is stink
And the buried past really has
No place in loves company

Once I got through the questionnaire
I felt good about the fact
I had honestly answered all the questions there
As I handed my #2 pencil back

From the multiple choice to the true and false
Along with the final essay
I folded it up, brought it home to you my love
For the final grade
