Premium Member Por Favor, No Me Ames - Please, Don'T Love Me

No cantes para mí, vida mía.
No cantes más para mí.
Cuando tu ojo ya no llore,
porque ya no soy,
No cantes para mí, mi amor.

No pienses en mí, querida.
No pienses en mí nunca mas
Cuando sueñas con otro
y mi vida ya no es,
no pienses en mi, mi amor.

No me ames, cielo mia.
Favor, no me ames más.
Te he dado todo
y no tengo más.
No me ames más, mi amor.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Don't sing for me, My Life.
Sing no more for me.
When your eye no longer cries,
because I am no more,
Don't sing for me, My Love.
Don't think about me, Dear.
Do not think about me ever more.
When you dream of another
and my life is no more,
don't think about me, My Love.
Don't love me, My Heaven.
Please don't love me anymore.
I have given you everything
and I have no more.
Don't love me anymore, My Love.
Bailando /Dancing
Baila, baila,
querida, tu corazón baila,
tu pelo baila,
tus ojos bailan,
y yo, cerca de ti,
yo te tengo en mis brazos,
querida,
con tu olor de naranjas y  miel.
La música es nuestra,
baila, baila,
el rítmo nos lleva
con sus brazos de amor y del tango.
¡Qué viva Carlos Gardel,
con su canto sonoro,
con los bandonios de locura y sueños!
Señales de alegría,
señales de musica vivante.
La noches del tango nos hacen volar,
como pájaros sin destino,
volando con un rítmo salvaje,
corazón del diaboblo nocturno,
nuestros cuerpos aman la música,
estrellas del corázon,
tango de deseos,
anhelos nocturnos,
un rítmo conocido
entre amantes.
Noche de tango,
noche de corazónes,
deja volar nuestro amor
con alas suaves de alegría.
El tango es nuestro,
baila, corazón, baila.
Deja las noches vibrar,
bailando,
cantando
con la locura del tango.
Dance, dance,
my love,
your heart is dancing,
your hair is dancing,
your eyes are dancing,
and I,
so close,
holding you in my arms,
my love,
with your odor of oranges and honey.
The music is ours,
dance, dance,
Rhythm leads us
with its arms of  love and  the tango.
Long live Carlos Gardel,
with his sonorous songs,
with the bandeon od madness and dreams!
Signals of joy,
signal of living music.
The nights of the tango make us fly,
like birds without a destiny,
flying with turbulent beat,
heart of the night's devil,
our bodies love the music,
stars of the heart,
tango of desire,
nightly wishes,
well known rhythm
between lovers..
Nights of the tango,
nights of hearts,
let our love fly
with the soft wings of joy.
The tango is ours,
dance, my heart, dance.
Let the night tremble,
with the madness of the tango.
porque nomas ustedes estan conmigo por las buenas y las malas
y ya se que las acciones hablan mas que palabras
pero mi palabra es todo lo que tengo
Te Quiero Mucho Madre Mia
Todo los dias
TU AMOR — Y COMPARTIMOS UN CORAZÓN PALPITANTE---
Si tuviera que conformarme con alguien;
Sólo alguien que cree como yo.
en el Dios del cielo;
Todo poderoso creador;
Tú, mi amor, creo que te elegí;
Porque con todo mi corazón eres mi amor;
Ya sea que estemos juntos o separados, eres mi amor;
Compartimos un corazón palpitante;
¿Porqué? Porque tú, yo y Dios;
eres mi amor---
I, 2, 3;
Las alegrías que me traes;
Mujer de Dios estoy muy agradecido;
Dios mi padre;
Eres mi querida;
Todos compartimos un corazón palpitante;
De los cuales nunca somos parte;
Ambos sois mi amor y compartimos un corazón palpitante;
Restlessness Allows No Inner Peace
His buddies called him Brant, he was the strongest man
made of solid muscles and he seemed mighty;
he became a fugitive after he raped two women
and robbed to get money for his coke and whiskey.
One was his best friend whom he killed for a grudge he had,
and hiding his face, he pulled down his hat and felt afraid.
There was a reward for anyone who knew his whereabouts
or acquaintances, rumors attested that he must have escaped
to Mexico to join banditos who raped, killed, and robbed;
an American guy saw him in Acapulco kissing pretty chicas*.
He thought that nobody was looking for him and he laughed
in that noisy bar drinking Tequila* until he was drunk and sad,
but forgetting faces drenched in blood is pure madness;
he wore a sombrero* hat and mingled with friendly locals.
Marcela was not his favorite girl, she refused to sit in his lap
while he smoked Tabamex Toro;* he whispered, " Te adoro, mi querida*. "
And disliking the short phrase, she bit on his scarred, dry lip;
" Ah, hermosa, suave!* " He quickly reacted to the revengeful Marcela.
He didn't know that was a trap and be captured him by the FBI agents,
but he suddenly got up, slapped her in the face with murderous hate;
Marcela hit the floor and died instantly, " Bandido*, bandido! That's
my daughter! " The dark-skin man howled. He drew his gun with haste.
He shut him three times, Brant fell down and profusely bled from his legs,
" You are under arrest! " One of the agents said cuffing him with ease,
" We'll take you back to Texas and you'll pay for the rapes and killings!"
Every rapist and killer should know that restlessness allows no inner peace! "
* Chicas: girls
* Tequila: Mexican liquor
* Sombrero: Mexican Hat
* Tabamex Toro: Mexican cigars
* Te adoro, mi querida: I adore you, my dear
* Ah, hermosa, suave: Ah, beautiful take it slow
* Bandido: bandit
La Mujer Que Conoci
Aun recuerdo cuando te conocí
estabas trabajando cuando por vez primera te ví
sin saberlo en aquel entonces tu serias para mi
despues de mi madre la mujer mas importante en mi existir
comenzamos como solo amigos y todo se fue dando
y con el paso del tiempo de ti yo me fui enamorando
te demostre mi amor no solo con palabras sino con hechos
fueron mis esfuerzos mis palabras y no solo mis versos
y en cada salida pude demostrarte nuevas experiencias
te llevaba a lugares nuevos y te daba sugerencias
compartimos tiempos bonitos y hasta lloramos juntos
todos podian ver mis intenciones hacia ti pues no era nada oculto
y todo este esfuerzo fue a pesar que tu tenias alguien mas en tu vida
pues en el amor todo se vale mi querida amiga
hasta tu me decias lo mucho que me querias y me dijiste que me amabas
si realmente eso por mi sentias por que es que ahora de mi no quieres nada
nunca te fallé al contrario siempre fui honesto contigo
hasta llego a cruzar por mi mente como te mirarias con mi apellido
entiendes lo que te quiero decir?
queria que llegaras hacer esa mujer en mi vivir
y si no te hablo no es porque me falten las ganas de hacerlo
sino porque te amo y respeto tu decision aunque no crea merecerlo
gracias por esos momentos tan bonitos que compartiste conmigo
gracias por demostrarme esa ternura aunque solo me viste como tu mejor amigo
siempre llevare esos lindos recuerdos en mi
de la mujer que un dia yo conocí.
Whisper Ven Aqui
took a picture
while you slept
lying next to me
Havana
waves caressing time
dusk to dawn
kiss to kiss
as if I could forget
the softness of you
at the break of dawn
howling at the moon
lost emotions found
whispering ven aqui
mi querida
          i want you
souvenirs of time
side by side
a lifetime of moments
Rio de Janeiro
moonlight touching sea
dusk to dusk
thunder to lightning
as if i could forget
hopscotch in the rain
ice cubes and honey
riding falling stars
discovering myself
whispering ven aqui
mon amor
            i need you
felt your laughter
surround all of me
feeling suddenly invincible
Cape Town
sand held in the hourglass
dawn to dusk
heartbeat to heartbeat
as if I could forget
showering within a waterfall
the magic of your sweet kiss
coasting in our dreams
following you anywhere
whispering ven aqui
mi vida
           i love you
Ven a Mi
Aunque tu no me ames yo siempre te amaré
aunque me desprecies yo siempre te quedré
y si llegas a irte lejos de mi yo te esperaré
pues aunque tu no lo sepas yo siempre te cuidaré
Se que la vida ha sido algo cruel contigo
que en el pasado por mi culpa has perdido amigos
y por mi nombre muchos reproches has conseguido
pero aun asi mi amor por ti yo siempre he retenido
Quizas piensas que caminar conmigo no valga la pena
y te gustaria hacer como antes enseñando media pierna
pero recuerda que para mi tu eres una reina
solo ven en pos de mi que querida niña tierna
Pues solo en mi encontraras la felicidad que necesitas
solo bajo las alas de mi amor podras secar esas lagrimitas
pues el dolor que ahora sientes nadien mas te lo quita
solo mi amor que por ti a diario aclama y grita.
Carta De Amor
Hola amor recibiste me llamada
Acaso leiste mi carta de amor,
Tocó tu corazón mi querida amada
Al leer esas palabras de pasión
Este tiempo que hemos estados apartados
Como agonía ha sido para mi vida,
Tu rostro lo llevo en mi mente retratado
Eres mi luz en mi oscura avenida
Desde tu sonrisa hasta tu forma de dormir
Que puedes hacer para que te deje de amar,
Todo me facina acerca de ti
Dia y noche por tu amor yo he de velar
Dime que me amas y me llevas a la luna
Dime que me quieres y soy todo tuyo,
Eres unica y como tu no hay ninguna
Aqui tienes mi corazón envuelto como capullo.
Premium Member Translation of Pablo Neruda's In You the Earth By T Wignesan
Si de pronto no existes, (If of a sudden you were no more,)
si de pronto no vives,(if of a sudden you live no more,)
yo seguiré viviendo. (I'll continue to live.)
No me atrevo,(I do not dare,)
no me atrevo a escribirlo, (hardly will I find the courage to write this)
si te mueres.(if you were to die.)
Yo seguiré viviendo. (I'll go on living.)
Porque donde no tiene voz un hombre(Since there where a man be not invested with a voice)
allí, mi voz. (there, my voice will be heard.)
Donde los negros sean apaleados, (There where Negros be skinned,)
yo no puedo estar muerto.(I cannot be counted among the dead.)
Cuando entren en la cárcel mis hermanos(When my brothers are put in prison)
entraré yo con ellos.(I'll be in their ranks.)
Cuando la victoria,(When victory,)
no mi victoria,(not my triumph,)
sino la gran Victoria llegue,(when the great Victory is attained,)
aunque esté mudo debo hablar:(even if I were dumb, I'll open my mouth to speak :)
yo la veré llegar aunque esté ciego.(yes, I'll see it arrive even if I were blind.)
No, perdóname. (No, do pardon me.)
Si tú no vives,(If you are no longer of this earth,)
si tú, querida, amor mío, si tú(if you, sweetheart, My Love, if you)
te has muerto,(were dead,)
todas las hojas caerán en mi pecho, (all the leaves will fall on my chest,)
lloverá sobre mi alma noche y día, (they will rain on my soul day and night,)
la nieve quemará mi corazón, (snow will consume my heart,)
andaré con frío y fuego(through the cold and fire, I'll continue to walk)
y muerte y nieve, (and through death and snow,)
mis pies querrán marchar hacia donde tú duermes, pero(my feet will want to walk on towards the place where you sleep, but)
seguiré vivo, (I'll go on living,)
porque tú me quisiste sobre(because you wished that I were)
todas las cosas indomable, (over all things not to be trampled upon,)
y, amor, porque tú sabes que soy no sólo un hombre (and, My Love, because you know that I am not just a/one man)
sino todos los hombres(but he who stands with/for/among all men)
No Podemos Ser Amigos
Sentado aqui todo desvelado
pues anoche mis sentimientos hice a un lado
le di duro como muro te lo juro
como un niño con jugete nuevo te lo aseguro
pero una noche de diversión no es suficiente
para disfrazar el dolor y sacarte de mi mente
pues no hay bebida que sane mis heridas
querida no hay otra muñeca que me proporcione una salida
y no es que haya regresado a mis andadas
mucho menos que de jugador tenga la fachada
simplemente me lo debo a mi mismo
disfrutar de mi vida sin hacer a un lado mi cristianismo
heme aqui escribiendole a la niña de mis ojos
pues no quiero imaginarmela de la mano de otro
asi que espero que mis palabras tranciendan por los aires
que impacten todo su ser como olas de mares
me fuera gustado nunca haberlo hecho contigo
que fueras quedado simplemente como amigos
ahora ando todo loco por ti con un puño de sufrir
drogado en tu aroma que invade todo mi existir
y ahora que estamos separados me encuentro angustiado
pues cuando estaba a tu lado me sentia afortunado
todo enamorado de mi mejor amiga
sin poder hacer nada para que mi corazon tu amor consiga
quizas nos fuimos muy rapido en todo esto
en un abrir de cerrar de ojos pasamos de un saludo al beso
del beso a mi alcoba y de mi alcoba al centro de tu ser
y como truco de magia te comberti en toda una mujer
ahora no hay manera que podamos ser amigos
pues un amigo no hace lo que yo en te he conseguido...
Pardon Me Part 2
He:
Pardon me,
It is I, the peasant gentleman.
From yester’s encounter.
I apologise for not revising nobility.
But as I said I have seen you before.
She:
I doubt we have met.
I never forget a face,
Perhaps you mistake me for one of your women.
He:
Ha-ha, I may not be a man of noble raising.
I would have loved to have women;
But my dignity I value, even as a man.
Many affairs would not serve my purpose.
She:
What is it that you want from me?
I do not care of your affairs.
Or anything of your interest,
I would very much like my space now.
He:
I had my doubts before,
Now I am sure you will recall our numerous encounters.
As your tongue is still as bitter.
They called you Amanda, of which I’m sure you still are.
Pardon me, I did not mean to startle you.
She:
How could you possibly know my name?
He:
Ah! Finally I have broken your daze.
Though the look on your face is still amiss.
I believe you could never remember me.
As I looked a little different back then.
She:
Well, given the impression.
Maybe we did not run in the same circles.
As I said I never forget a face.
Is this altercation necessary?
He:
Pardon me,
I mean no harm,
Let’s forget I know you, nor you I.
Please let me lend an ear.
Pardon me but it sure seems like you need one.
She: sighs deeply
He:
It would not help to keep all that agony.
You might wrinkle, my mamma always told me.
Some say confiding in a stranger eases your woes.
I will not judge you.
She:
At the crack of dawn I rose up looking….
Ha-ha, I was looking for my children.
I was looking for my husband.
I did not find either.
All I found was an emptiness.
He:
Terrible endeavour that must be querida.
At our age one would like to have it all.
But that’s no reason to despair.
Is it not that we all serve a purpose?
She:
I should be on my way.
Pardon me this time.’
I have cats to tend to.
Mi Amiga Querida Del Alma My Dearest Friend
Mi Amiga Querida del Alma, 2010
V. Ortiz Vazquez
Do you know? Do you remember the time and place?
I don’t
I don’t remember time nor place
But it is here today—Thursday, September 19, 2010
I search and search with no luck
The mind as always don’t want to let go of the hidden
No time, no place, yet Puerto Rico for sure
Yes, Puerto Rico
Why? you must ask
How can it be if you don’t remember time and place?
Simple
Age 15 was went I left
And with me she came
With me she came
I don’t know time nor place
Was it received with joy?
Or
Cast away with shame?
Either way, I just don’t know
I do know about the present
Unbothered, glad by the presence
Others around me, not glad
Better yet, they seem uncomfortable as if it was a drag
I, on the other hand, think of the possibilities
What it stands for
Refer to sometimes as “la tía”
Stop
Let’s be honest
I’m not too fond of “mis tías”
So, why address you by it?
No, no, no
I don’t know time nor place
I do know about the present and “la Tia” just got to go
So many labels, why baptize you with one that brings bother to my skin
Why not give you the proper place within me?
Amiga,
Amiga,
Yes! Amiga
Wait, don’t come to conclusions yet
Amiga because
Close to me you are
Amiga because
Apart from me you never are
Amiga because
You know a part of me no one else know
Amiga because
I am never disappointed by you
The hell with the past
Who cares about place and time?
Come on with the present
Guide my future
Please, don’t disappoint me
For I love your purpose
Un Noche De Melancolia
Que tal te mi querida?
Tal vez ta pensa tu comigo ahora,
ta tembla na beso amarga del viento amihan,
con labio azul,
posiblemente ta pensa tu de mi suffrimiento dentro del jaula de soledad,
un jaula lleno de furia,
como dungeon envuelto na oscuridad,
ta puede yo mira nada,
excepto el diente del tu amor espinoso,
el dulce mordida ta esta siempre na mi pescuezo.
Solo en un cama negra,
con ojos de lagrimas seco,
ta puede mira nada,
pero solamente de tuya sombra blanca,
cuando el sanidad ya volve na mio sentido,
el de tuya sombra ya diriti na umo del madrugada,
ahorra hasta cuando ta nada yo na rio del tristeza,
ta esperanza na calor del tuya piel mas blanco que la luna llena.
Amor mio!
Ta pensa gaha tu ahora comigo como you ta pensa contigo ahora?
tal vez ya puede tu lei mi carta,
cada letra ya escribe mi emocion,
con passion mas dulce que de azucar,
pero se puede te volve na pueblo de Zamboaga,
promite yo na cielo arriba,
casa yo contigo na altar de San Ignacio.
