This Time You Loose

you power mongers
the decay of our society
shame in the company of our fallen heroes
we work hard
and you plunder the fruits of our labor
it's been more than 48 years
since our land was declared free
but my people see no change
the nation is still in the dark
electricity,water,better infrastructure
are a luxury

i say no!!
this time you get no vote
me and my family and friends
will stand up to you
we'll take up to the streets
overthrow you without guns and artillery
cuz my people are peaceful.

Just such a revolutiion made the States free, Emmanuel. If you elect people who ignore the needs of those who voted for them, they should be replaced. Excellent write!!! Love, Carolyn
