Best Placing Poems
I placed you first,
Even though you knew not.
For it was better done than said;
That it was truly from my heart.
And so I gave them up
I gave it all up for good
Left my mind heated from thoughts
As I lain every night to sleep
Thoughts so deep, I could not understand;
Whether I was going mad,
When I took that spit for you,
Or it was just love,
That I had for you.
My granny would not forgive me
For I left his funeral so early
To get you that ice cream
Else you would scream
Wishing to wake up and say,
"What a dream!"
NO! not a dream, it's a nightmare.
One that i cannot bear to share.
I pray you leave me now
My heart you wrecked
Lies in ruins
To think that place you had, but how.
I placed you first
Not because I knew you first
I placed you first
Because you were the best
And now I rest my words
For I now weep
Good-bye my sweet
Or may I say, my CURSE!
Your cold and windy love
fit once like a glove
now you out and about
With what's his name
Your cold and selfish love
You once appeared to me
as an angel from above
Now we've given up on us
Your cold self-serving love
It smothers us to a dismal mist
your now latching on to my life
like an awful painful cist.
Well I guess I should be
man enough to take the awful blame
I know, cause your in there somewhere
and your really still the same.
My self-centered ego
won't let me proclaim
I just all along wanted
from you to be just a dame.

because we are ****ing
idiots,

And i want to tell you something's
Each time a though comes around
But i can't think where to begin
Because i find myself as wooden
as ten branches on a tree
And if the whole world was watching
I would still fail to be
Anything other than a means to
a shell
Searching for a tell to foretell
a calling
Friday's child on monday morning
As random as this
PLACING BETS
restless impatient
mistakes
cold regrets of new
intakes
it takes one night too
long
placing bets high and
strong
holding wild cards too
close
wrecks those we love
most
shut up sit down first class let down
dark velvet midnight
talker
filthy clay grey alley
stalker
burning flames fast fuel
pace
day late ultimate
disgrace
shut up sit down first class let down
getting ready as rains fall
heavy
let it fall
fall
fall
once again
unsteady
placing bets
no regrets
