Placing the Blame
Your cold and windy love
fit once like a glove
now you out and about
With what's his name
Your cold and selfish love
You once appeared to me
as an angel from above
Now we've given up on us
Your cold self-serving love
It smothers us to a dismal mist
your now latching on to my life
like an awful painful cist.
Well I guess I should be
man enough to take the awful blame
I know, cause your in there somewhere
and your really still the same.
My self-centered ego
won't let me proclaim
I just all along wanted
from you to be just a dame.
