Premium Member Navigating Through Life's Highway

Hurdled is life’s highway to every milestone:
Detours, traffic woes~ impediments to goal,
Perturbing in hindrances that endlessly groan
Searching exit ramp to soothe anguished soul.

Though memories of yore, of pain bemoan,
Benevolence of today vows to mold morrow,
Prodding fate of future~ opaque, unknown,
Defying grievous intents in ill-will of sorrow.

Wished for earnestly, life is a cherished dream,
An exuberance of spring, of burbling stream,
A meaningful exploration of endearing theme;
Mystical, phenomenal, halo of mirthful gleam.

Life is a fleeting dot on scale of eternal time,
A journey of courage, yet harbinger of fears;
Gracefully revering the echoes of lifetime,
Whether reveling in joy or lamenting in tears.

Rejoice in life’s sunset, rejoice in life’s sunrise,
Greet charming smiles, yet ignore not its sighs,
Celebrate spring’s birth, mourn autumn’s demise,
Cheer life’s welcome, dwell not in goodbyes.

Premium Member Fear-Unwelcome Emotion

Conjuring anxiety, obstructing path of hope,
A quivering hesitation, frightened to cope;
Fear is omnipresent causing anguished moan
Agitating aspirations in distress of unknown.

Fear is darkness, a trepidation upon norm,
Worrisome, trembling, turbulent as storm;
An obstacle threatening progress of life,
A messenger of panic, an architect of strife.

Treacherous to audacity, fear is a cheat,
A betrayal to victories, fretting of defeat;
Fear is melancholy, an expression of gloom,
Hampering courage, perturbing in doom.

Fear is a loathsome impediment to goals,
Dashing endeavors of endearing souls;
Averse to commitment as love goes awry,
A remorseful cry, where lost kinships sigh.

Unwelcome emotion imprisoning ambition
Unleashing inaction of paranoid inhibition,
Fear immobilizes, as if, bird trapped in cage;
Paranoid, valor-less, upon life’s center stage.

My Being

Clumsy days and hazy nights

Haunting and bring me tears

I should stop perturbing

Whilst my heart still whipping

Wrath of nature is just reflection

Of my fragments that created imprints

Within my being that stands steadfast

Even in the darkest days of my existence.

The Bystander

On one daring day, when the bruising sun was yet to set
And unfold the opportunities of an anticipated and hopeful day.
A bystander sprouted out from her shell into the dew
Hardly aware of the blindfolds of reality
She set off; ready to feed her eyes what it loves the most, doom!
She is a racy schadenfreude.

Across the street, a mishap called her name
The voice she heeded with race of flashes
To the scene, straining to snap a view for her sight
Alas! She saw the fuss of commotion, and was marveled
She bragged to herself ‘’I’m always on time’’…

A metallic beast had kissed a monstrous millipede
Conveying explosive water, but had unturned and wet the soil.
People were engulfed in steams of smoke
Singing the song of pain and perturbing panic.
The sing-song travelled to her like the gong of a town-crier
The echo drew the bystander closer as she gasped in awe
Her frenzied soul almost ran amok in unpleasant excitement
Her eyes were fixed on her flutter, while ignoring the wet floor she toed.
Just then, a vestige of spark was wafted and veered towards her
In seconds of second, she too was swimming in stream of flame
She whirled out for help but echo ricocheted void
Of abyssal coma, as the day set, the sun smiled as she was bathed to ashes
Then other onlookers after observing the osmosis quickly grabbed her remains
And blew it to the waiting wind
The Man above the earth sniffed it and frowned
‘’Another wasted soul loitering in damnation’’, He muttered.
Then He cried rain down to cleanse others
But as it showers, they stood back gracing the sight
That holds their eyes- the bystanders!

Ever Since

Ever Since

Forever, I loved my mother and father
They never complained or tried to bother
But soon found out I was spoiled rotten
So they stuffed each ear with cotton.

Even though she truly was a terrible three
My sister had always been as bad as me
We would pick a daisy and were lazy
And did drive our patient parents crazy.

Somehow we had raised so much static
Hair stood on end and we became erratic
Like loser poets thinking that they can
Give poem brush off then use dust pan.

After each perturbing poem was collected
And like a puzzle pieces tightly connected
Results had become a horrible aftermath
Poets poured water then they took a bath.

Each poem was brainwashed from his mind
Had a great, bright idea and he bee-lined
To you and up poems made others tense
And Soup hasn't heard from me ever since.

Premium Member A Darkest Night Too Brightens In Dawn

When I ruminate in trepidations forlorn,
Darkness traversed in search of dawn,
Vying fertile shores, oceans I crossed,
Nightmares that my dreams doled out;
Looking back now, how I fondly recall--
In those hardships success was born.

As I watch frigid woes glinting on snow,
Winters that melt and in rivers flow,
Parched-leaves tinting autumn’s glow,
I wonder how seasons in throes know;
Behind clouds of despair rises arc of hope.

When I spend today in tempests bygone
Brooding in defeat of conquests lost,
Yesterdays that were callously tossed;
I once again follow footsteps of the past
Imprisoning my triumphs of tomorrow
Arresting winsome ambitions of now.

Learning the lessons from where I was
I reassure anxieties perturbing my life:
Travails of turbulence won’t last long,
For a darkest night too brightens in dawn,
A rainbow forms after a storm is gone.

So, I clasp the hand of a leisurely walk
Unfettered by constant tick of time clock,
Passionately answering call of my heart
Bequeathing moments that forever last.

Trump and Big Battle Scenes

Trump and Big Battle Scenes

Trump seems to like big battle scenes
Where everything is blown to smithereens
And other atrocious things he does enjoy
Apparently to all of us always annoy.

Trump criticizes, condemns and is complaining
Things many swamps we should be draining
Even what he has said is a bunch of crock
Every where it is causing a culture shock.

Trimming budget may deplete our desires
Do away with performing arts that inspires
He always prefers an outcome that is dim
Speeches have been overbearing and grim.

Trump must have said to common sense
He always hated it and good riddance
Ducks responsibility and reporter's spears
Jumping to conclusions and avoiding jeers.

When he is dead and we are over and done
With perturbing President who was only one
Whose memory exists that still does survive
He still can be seen on "Saturday Night Live."

You have to be laughing at this poem.

Rank Has Its Priviledge

Rank Has Its Privilege (RHIP)

Privilege is preferred by a rank.
Privilege is gained by respect.
Privilege is profound depending on source.
Privilege provides a way of looking at things.
Privilege can be perturbing at times.
Privilege is great when it is a Presidential Order on gun control.
Privilege to live on His earth He provided was provided by God.
Privilege is comparatively a way of perceiving two or more objectives.
Privilege can be taken personally at times.
Privilege is politically expedient when fine tuned and objective.
Privilege taken out of place is sure to result in conflict.
Privilege should be result of exposing a purpose.
Privilege was not proposed to be taken lightly.
Privilege has a profile and characteristics that should be thoroughly understood.
Privilege when taken presumptuously should only be done cautiously.
Privilege to Trump is something that he will never understand.

Some of the Stramgest People

Some of the Stramgest People

Trump has been cause of my much stress
The poor way that people he will address
Many things into pea brain he does cram
Never saying neither yes nor no mam.

Trump tries to make things spic and span
Is so difficult to do with a small hand
After many morons had all been polled
Trump lacks having a heart of gold.

Three ring circus tri-cameral system has become
When people are nuts do they prefer plums
And also will eat prunes and raisins instead
A lump of it later was found in Trump's bed.

They were discrete and saw it on his sheet
Amazing strangest people you may meet
Selling sox, toilet paper and swimming pool
Also something to soften your hard stool.

Abjuration

Shooting stars penetrate the midnight sky
There is an unexplainable wonder that space fills inside
An astonishing sight unveils itself before my eyes
Not only from the stars, but from the night against the light
The achingly hollow cold—the marrow of my delight
Has slipped ever so soundly in my soul
The fog blankets the ground and reaches our feet
I feel the chilliness taking its toll
The ground shakes violently, perturbing uneasy life
And we witness the lightning flaring up the heavens
We see bodies collide in the distance. . .
Tons and tons of fear choke us all

And I can only watch the sky
As the innocent souls wither and die
I marvel at both natures—fellow man and creation
Muttering to myself nightmares of veracity
My eyes cradle the beauty left in the scene
It blows away everything once explained
I continue to shield myself from the light above
The stars can only pour over me for split moments
As my abjuration seeps like blood into the reveling soil
Shattering like glass
Piercing us like arrows

Resentment

I loathe the feeling of resentment
Loneliness reigns over me and I need to repent
It reigns over my once high spirits and my heart’s bent!
Stop bringing me down to toil and lament!
It swallows me whole like a troubled tidal wave, descending with heartless revilement
I need a roof on my head or a tent!
Abruptly making me feel atrocious anguish right this instant
I’m sick of being on rent
Avarice pushes it way inside of me and I feel as defenseless and feeble as an infant
What is it like to be in someone else’s skin? I hate myself for everything that went
Through my mind in the past…the adversaries of the past seem to haunt me and I’m trying to prevent
Myself from losing control again…life’s like a cycle that keeps spinning on and I’m sponging in resentment
I never meant to hurt you like I always do – I will apologize to you and I didn’t mean to torment
All the times I’ve spent with each other makes me adore your savoring scent
All of the sudden, you snicker at me insidiously like a hyena, about to hunt down its target, laughing with content
You corner me with your fury and I shutter in vain by the sight of you, you're too close to me and your breath stinks - do you need a mint?
Don't take it to heart, you crying infant
I can't stop shaking like a timid deer, body-quaking with fear and you find this entertainment?
Stop approaching me with your creepy ways, sinister monsters from hell - your screams of vile is perturbing and hell-bent
Why do you regret making mistakes – we all make them…just acknowledge it and move on with life and don’t let it step on you like dirty cement
Burn out this revolting rage that crowns us with disdain and be set free from bondage by simply doing the act of repentance and your time will be well-spent
When I feel resent, I feel this monstrous malcontent…
As if someone has beat me up and broke my nose as my birthday present
Who invited this unwanted guest – Resentment?

Walking Past

There is no cruel intention in these veins of mine
No self-perturbing traces of malice or hatred
Yet I rot in all that I am
Sopping sorrows
Bacterial bondage
Lost in this reverse universe
Turning back the time
I am still a child
I am fine
I am fine

Never would I mean to hurt you
In my silence it seems that I have
In my state, my stagnant state,
I awaken your resentful waves
I am buried in your unawareness
Unraveling in writhing verse

I have no reason to despise myself
I have no reason to hide

A cold wind of a departure
I dare to turn and look
To watch you leave through the door
Suddenly I am rotting all over again
I am walled into endless festering

Do not tell me to live in the moment
Until you have felt what I have felt
Do not tell me to forget who I am
With what you think I was

I am fine
I am fine

The danger has no weight on me now
I am walking past you now
