Perilous Times
Written: by Miracle Man
September 25, 2020

Lord, Hear our prayers as we intercede,
on behalf of our troubled world today.
Disobedient people good thoughts impede,
and each day brings some new affray.

Today we are living in those perilous times,*
that you said the last days would bring.
The media reports daily on riots and crimes,
change our hearts before death bell’s ring.

*2 Timothy 3:1-4
1 This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
2 For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
3 Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
      4 Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;

Premium Member Peace In Perilous Days

We yearn for peace in perilous days
We lift our heads and look in the sky
It will not be found in violent ways

It will not rise from smoke passing by
Screaming drowns the wise words to be heard
We lift our heads and look in the sky

Looking for truth, no time for absurd
Lift us, cradle us, with simple things
Screaming drowns the wise words to be heard

Let us fly in love with newfound wings
Above chaos that leads to demise
Lift us, cradle us, with simple things

In messages left where the soul flies
Our strength is emboldened by a choice
Above chaos that leads to demise

Reaching high, with a positive voice
We yearn for peace in perilous days
Our strength is emboldened by choice
It will not be found in violent ways

Perilous

Exceeding
speeding
vehicle
in
rushhour—
Now
in
gut
he's
feeling,
aspiring—
Full
roarings,
pumping
of
adrenalin
in
blood—
Perilous
heart

The Perilous Years

Those years were freshened years but the sea
Was filled with stomach cramps, and with burning tips
Against the psychosis on essential truthful belly
Vibrating of dying fishes
As they were jumping angry over the sun's rim
as if they were a kind of greener monsters.

A toxic light as the procession of ecosystem essentials
With its own measurement fled over all these scattering shadows
Of abiotic paths, and evil emerged
Everywhere from east, west; north, and south
In addition, its demented ray makes love
To the son of Harlot who was striking suddenly a final world
As a wedding ass in a golden plate, which contain
A reference to the uncommon value of what we are
And in addition why we must perish.

In a small fountain, however in such concentrated waves
By diluted waters, I drink the rich juice
Of the silence, the directness of the naturalness,
The profundity that dominate the fool,
And from those who create the essential truth
I try to be alive, and that is the only reason
I was loving this unknown monster because I myself not human,
Not a soul sailing but a rare thyroid that created those
Structures threatening to evade the failing
Moment; as they say, the Hope made the killers
Smiling, when the verdict was just a fancy holder,
Moreover, there like a virginal snake, I bite the most
Sweet breast of heaven, not that gracious evil,
Because I am the third appeal, the one you hate.

And when the monitors were still
Invisible, I know a voice shall be thrilling off:
"Oh! I born tomorrow and I can erase
Myself today and see myself in front of you
Twenty thousand years for now, but I am the child
You kill, you rape, oh, you bastard.
	As an antibiotic behind it,
All things still pursing each other,
By the still unknown forcer and with intensity
All smashed around me.

         I am the one!

Perilous

Your touch is
an electric shock
good thing I am not
in a bucket full of water

Your kiss is
a roaring flame
my mouth is filled
with flammable liquid

Your love is
a shaky ladder
I climb to the top
and invite gravity’s
inevitable seduction

The Perilous Journey

Dark is the place where life begins.
A raging river, a perilous swim.

You cling to the bank with all your might
and soon make a connection that lessens your plight.

This lifeline supplies all of your needs,
the food to nourish you and oxygen to breathe.

Larger and stronger you continue to grow,
until your body blocks the rivers flow.

Your heartbeat pounds and your mind starts to ponder;
will I ever escape to a place far beyond here?

Soon do you struggle and try to break free
and move towards the light and to your destiny.

Freedom comes not as your life is taken away.
Your journey has ended and you had no say.

Behold the Lord as he holds out his hands
and pulls you to his bosom in heaven so grand.

The perilous journey has brought you to him.
Now a journey of love can finally begin.

Years later, the future you see
the fate of the vessel who set your soul free.

The vessel will bow before the judge of mankind.
Her head hung low she will know well her crime.

Lord I am sorry for the things I have done.
I just was not ready to take on a son.

Please forgive me for my blood you have bought.

Child be silent for I know you not.

Look down below at the gates of hell
for there you shall enter forever to dwell.

Premium Member A Perilous Journey

Even on the darkest days when the odds are stacked heavily against us, we should never give up on hope.
Quote By Poet.

We were heading for better life to the new world on the sailing ship 'Athlone',
After about five weeks disaster struck, and the main mast and sails were lost.
For two weeks we drifted aimlessly at the mercy of the unforgiving ocean.
Food and water were running out fast and an air of doom hung over the ship,
our spirits were lifted when a sailor in the crow's nest shouted out "Land ahoy".

Perilous Fire

Perilous Fire
Written By Brett Somers
On 3-17-16

Is it not clear
That fire which you fear
Will burn you when it is near
So why do you throw
Fire?
With each blow
You must certainly know
That your critical voice
Your vengeance choice
Has burnt ten fold
The very hand which you hold
That fire

A Perilous Journey

For a moonshine,
there was no moon.
There was no moon
for a moonshine.

It starts a tenuous
soliloquy, raising a –
slew of questions.

Slew of questions will
evoke a mixed response.

Were you ready for
a sleepover at the shrine
to watch the St. Vitus’s dance.

It was leaking at night
from the corner of eyes.

Unaging was the secret
of polity. Are you in ?

Perilous Fare

It's strange to me,
to find myself smitten
with a man

who hesitates
on even the most inapt situations
that need not urgency

yet I adore him
for all the stars he ate
and words his tongue forgot to savor

when did love become so distasteful
for you, dear

I've relished in your zest
of aimless compulsions
and my belly discerns
sweet from rotten

yet I do not uproot
the fruit
you so selfishly sprout,
for it is mine
all mine to devour

Perilous Life

Midnight Perils,
Crushing Dreams,
Says the man inside who screams.
Desperation to survive,
Screams the brain as it dies.
The fear of death
It is within,
Closer it draws, with every sin.
The fear of death will reside, inside.
Some believe that there's more after.
Some believe that your light goes out.
Some believe you're born again.
This is why the man inside screams and shouts.
The fear of the unknown,
keeps us guessing.
It keeps the mind,
never resting.
The weak fall into one or two.
But I cannot until i'm through.
That time, that place where the world ends.
I shall face my perilous end

Stylish stilettos stride spaces step upon subliminal step

Generate generous glances grasp glittering glamour

Entertain eyes entranced with exuberant elegance

Made to manoeuvre men’s miniscule mind mockingly

A fraction too feeble they fracture and fail the finicky fall

Perilous Times Ca

Auspicious notion losing momentum to perilous times of trauma and travail from Anguish churning through streams of Atrocious thick mud brewing up storms of grime
peculiarities drawn from condemnation of core greed grasping through amassed oppression firmly set to vanquish the Allure of fame and monstrosity.

Serene ambience to Assuage pain of Awry disappearance underneath facade result of Appetency for curious hope of light leading to an everlasting outcome
joggling amidst wanderers to Absolve power prowess of doomy bout of flames as time of reckoning spews toward a mysterious pillage of casualties.
