Each day is a new beginning
I think of you and really smile
Every time your memory bring
Me very close to you for a while
Every moment of today and tomorrow
I want to share my heart with only you.
With all this love that now we both know
And can only nurture it and make it grow.
Sharing wonderful dreams with this heart
With gentle thoughts for you I've saved
From my heart and soul never to depart
'Cause my feelings are more than endorsed
Like an endless and tender lover's song
That makes my love for you very strong.

Premium Member Perfecting Cruelty

I'm that dog sitting in the rain
over his best friend's grave.
I've waited fifteen years,
for your spirit to brush against my spirit again, either in the flesh or dream,
I believe some brown thumbed clod pruned your heart
cut too often-to deeply-honed his cruelty on your vulnerabilities.
Made a shrine from your broken pieces,
Tossed you to the darkness
cleaved your light
then offered you a blanket
of scratchy regret,,,

I'm still waiting though,
like a wet dog at the mouth of a cave
too afraid to enter
That I may discover something
unrecognizable....frightening.

Premium Member Perfecting Our Union

A frail first force binds each to each other,
to be really free we must all agree;
true glue should hold values together,
respect all life, let every human be.

Pray that those elected will do what's right -
vision's birth born by mere majority.
Trusted sworn swords do battle through the night
we wake to see our tattered flag fly free.

Lead to do what we know we should.
With moral might in sight, we march as one;
tempered by Founder's views of common good,
form brittle bedrock into firm union.

Find integrity in what we have done -
when we agree freely, freedom has won.

Premium Member My God, Thank You For Perfecting That Which Concerns Me

June 5 Scripture Meditations Based on Psalms 138-140

Key Verse – Psalm 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth forever…

MY GOD, THANK YOU FOR PERFECTING THAT WHICH CONCERNS ME

Thank You for perfecting that which concerns me by Your grace
With my whole heart, I sing praise unto You in running life’s race
You always strengthen me through Your might’s brace
Never failing to help me midst afflictions’ trace.

Thank You for perfecting that which concerns me by Your holiness
With my salvation-propped faith, I worship You, devoid of selfishness
You always sanctify me in Your righteousness
Never abandoning me to wallow in sinfulness.

Thank You for perfecting that which concerns me by Your deliverance
With my heaven-bound future, I cling to You and Your assurance
You always uphold me midst fear-appearance
Never forsaking me to face challenges alone with Your forbearance.

Thank You for perfecting that which concerns me by Your preservation
With my ransomed soul, I rejoice in You and Your redemption
You always keep me around Your will’s protection
Never neglecting me to suffer grievous persecution.

Thank You for perfecting that which concerns me by Your leadership
With my blissful spirit, I follow You in my stewardship
You always guide me inside Your fellowship
Never hurting me to lament in loneliness offered by worldly friendship.

Thank You for perfecting that which concerns me by Your reproving
With my biblical conviction, I honour You along standards’ paving
You always teach me principles worth-having
Never insulting me to lose confidence in all-out sacrificial giving.

Premium Member Perfecting Vowels

I WILL CROON THE VOWELS
kneeling in church, arm around my angel girl.
my son’s propped up on pew, chewing gum.
the oldest tries to pray, the grownup way.
LIKE THE ANGELS DO
we belt out tunes for thirty minutes,
mama’s eyes closed, one eye strobe light blinking
quiet “sh sh” like the soft spoken wind.
WITHOUT THEIR HALO SWOONS,
those baby bonnets on sideways,
bent, just halfway toward sin,
but precious are those little hands,
look like steeples,
voice chaste as the trio say “amen.”
JUST PLAIN HALLELUJAHS,
“Jesus loves me this I know”
why do children sound heavenly?
especially with eyes closed and
silent snores, tears dripping from mama’s eyes.
WITHOUT THE SURROUND SOUND
swish swish goes the bridal gown -
losing daughters gaining daughter in-laws.
those once bubblegum popping boys,
dapperly dressed up, have made their choice.
EFFECTS, CERTAINLY NOT IN TUNE
and celestial hallelujahs, spur on the stars and moon.
silver spoons saved for christenings,
beneath angel’s wings,
veiling the scarcely innocent.
babies bathed in baptism, as grandma grins,
and prays, shushing the wind.

A perfect creation of heavens world
A soul, being of such perfection is sane
Or we insane in membrane to think
That we are perfect without flaw
That our hearts we control until anger
Breath, exhale out the bad from inside
We clean the soul its anger persistence
We love cause we are love
Perfecting perfection, look deep within darkness
Life lives where there's light

In dark, you can only see pitch
It is not that evil lives within
But the soul fear smells of the unknown
The laud, as if we pat our own
We are no better than the other
No matter skin, it's unpurified heart we carry
That to which comes from the lips
Perfecting perfection, got to go deep to get in

Days we feel the screams, just smile
Life could always be worse or better
We strive as human race from existence
Don't eat from the tree or lust nakedness
But see a being for what they represent
Beware its portrait, not all it seems

It's a kind word, thank you for door
A good morning or good day makes difference
Be sure be yourself, good rules over evil
Just got be your choice you give
The vibe is what they feel energy
Down the road, lives could be changed
Cause you was perfecting perfection, a life you reflected imagery

Premium Member PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR PERFECTING US

July 11 Praises to God Bible Meditations Based on Psalms 138-143

Key Verse – Psalms 138:8 The LORD will perfect that which concerneth me: thy mercy, O LORD, endureth for ever: forsake not the works of thine own hands.

PRAISE BE TO GOD FOR PERFECTING US

Praise be to God for perfecting us with His:
Trial that trains our toiling
Triumph that turns our travail
Truth that teaches our tactfulness
Tenderness that trims our timidity
Test that touches our transgressions

Psalms 139:3 Praise be to the Lord for
searching us while:
Exposing our progress
Examining our pretensions
Evaluating our proud personality
Expressing our pursuit’s powerlessness
Encouraging our performance productivity

Psalms 140:1 Praise be to the Saviour for
delivering us and preserving us with His:
Sure security
Secured salvation
Scriptural standards
Settled sanctification-seal
Steadfast stabilizing strength

Psalms 141:1 Praise be to the Almighty
for giving ear unto our voice of:
Prayerful plea
Persistent praise
Purposeful plight
Peaceful promises
Pensive prompt proofs

Psalms 142:2 Praise be to the Creator
for attending to our supplication that:
Cries for His care
Cleaves to His cause
Calls for His comfort
Clings to His clemency
Clamors for His closeness

Psalms 143:10 Praise be to the Holy Spirit
for teaching us to do His will by His:
Restraint toward sin-repentance
Restoration toward service-revival
Replenishment along supply-refilling
Rejuvenation midst salvation-rejoicing
Righteousness for sanctification-refueling. Amen!

Perfecting Poison

As we decided on my fate for the week.

Soon I would be back, sad and meek.

And we would try another combination.

Which I would try with hesitation.

But this time has no chance of lasting.

These are the olden days that are passing.

For the future is strong.

Just like my perception for now is wrong.
