I can’t describe the intensity in my appreciation
Of the absolute deep natural beauty of the female
Power and grace, simplistic, total in fascination
Savagery and rage
Combined with so much force
The bearer, the life giver
The mother of the nature of the child
The conceiver of hope
The instiller of fertility and pure thought
The safety, warmth, and enveloping aura of love
Emanating from the confines of mothers womb
Feeding dreams of hope and love
To someday be returned in kind
To the vessel that gave to me this wonderful opportunity
To take this journey we call life
To be able to look into the eyes of a woman and find love
To be able to find a soul mate
So that we may produce another to feed hope and love
To nurture, guide and help fulfill the needs
To wipe the tear that blinds our sight to the truth
To help progress for the greater good
To ever forward the progression of life and love of it
And to the bearer
The most beautifully intense creature ever created
Who gives us this life, love and hope
Peace !

Found You.

For so many years I took refuge inside,
Inside my thick shell and have refused to come out.
Like the snail I was.
Have been coping with the cloudy and dark
Sky looming for this long.
The wave of the ocean has taken away
with its force, all I held in high esteem.
Waking up everyday into perpetual darkness
Was for me, more than been confined within the walls of a prison.
Could not find a cool place of rest
For that which provides coolness has been uprooted
...and all hope was lost.
Not an iota of faith was left even within me
But somehow, something kept me on
Reasons to give up came, but I refused taking that route
I saw why I should stop pressing
I was just not ready to let go
because in fate I still hope.
Then a miracle happened,
The least believable happened to
the most unthoughtful human.
It happened to me just when I was not watching
Suddenly, the long tunnel came to an end
and a bright light of hope was smiling at me
The cloudy and dark sky have given way
to a lively daylight.
The thundering and rumbling of the ocean
has finally settled down for still calmness
The prisoner has finally been set free
The uprooted began to grow with radiance and beauty
Then I realized the only reason why I kept on
was because somehow, I knew you were
going to come through for me.
You came through and wrought the miracles
I have in years thought less possible
So what if I had given up?
well, I did not and I found you
and you have made waiting for this
long after all, worthwhile.

A Common Thing

Well hun I feel we have a common thing,
Who knows what this will bring.

                      We like the same team,
I love the way your eyes gleam.

You like to stay athletic and in shape,
You’ve done a great job that’s no debate.

You know how much I love to workout,
But I’m starting to love you more and you know what that’s about.

I hope to God you choose my school,
Otherwise my heart will ache and I’ll feel like a fool.

I’ve never felt this way about anyone before,
You are the only one I adore.

I would love to get the chance to hold your hand,
As well as protect you forever and be your man.

Think of the way you love my tattoo,
That’s how much I love you.

I can only hope you feel this way too,
And give me a chance to be your boo.

Crying In the Night

Crying in the night
Standing on the edge
Ready to take flight
The one standing alone
Terrified of the heights
Lost and locked inside of yourself
Taking on a losing fight
All sense of hope is gone
Not any kind of faith in sight
Oh it was attempted
To hold on with great strength and might
The rope slipped from hands
That were holding on to tight
Clearly stumbling into bright darkness
Cause one has turned off the lights
Not does it matter as to what is wrong
And just who is right
All that is known at this moment is
Love seems to be blind and causing nothing but fright
With all this said and all that is done
Love is sometimes blind and causes all sorts of frights
Known at this moment who cares who is wrong
Or what is right
Stumble clearly in the darkness
Of the incredibly bright light
The rope that slipped from one hands
For holding on to tight
Can now once again be held with great strength and might
And can also be attempted
To finally find a new kind of sight
Of hope and of faith
Find and unlock the terror inside yourself
As you climb to the highest of new heights
You don’t have to be alone
Standing on that edge
Ready to take flight
No matter what anyone does love often leaves you
Crying in the night

To Make Love Without Love...

As you lay at night
In all your cozy covers
I hope you think of me
And not of others
I want to climb in there
and feel your skin
and maybe if I'm lucky
we may get to sin

but is it sinning
if we just don't care
with passions satisfied
and bodies bear
and hands wrapped
around waist and heart
the ending is the aim
from the start

is love the only way
to this deed
or is that the word
made to mislead
the hearts of those
that don't know they lied
but in the end
you hope to be satisfied

who knows the broken heart
that lies there after
and stares through the ceiling
and into the rafter
with the words I love you
exchanged before
as the clothes on our back
were thrown to the floor

Some Things You May Know; Some Things You May Not

Roses are red; violets are blue.
I wrote this poem; just for you.

Pillows are soft; stones are hard.
I must admit; you caught me off guard.

Cheetahs are fast; turtles are slow.
My feelings for you, continue to grow.

Day is light; night is dark.
When we touch, I can feel a spark.

A library is quiet; A concerts is loud.
When I'm with you, I'm up on a cloud

Sugar is sweet; lemons are sour.
I wish I could hug you; ten time an hour.

Bricks are heavy; feathers are light.
I wish you were here; with me tonight.

Winter is cold; summer is hot.
I don't want to rush; believe it or not.

Angels are good; demonds are bad.
If I screw this up, I'll be really mad!

To sniff is to smell; to touch is to feel.
Everything that you've told me; I hope its all real.

Oceans are wet; desserts are dry.
I know I'm not perfect; but I'll certainly try.

Right now is soon; later's awhile.
I hope this poem, has made you smile.

This poem is dedicated to S.N.J.

Wishful Thoughts In Me of You

I hope I can survive,
this wreck of a life.

I hope to escape,
this prison of my mind.

I hope I can trade,
this doubt for faith.

I hope that its true,
the heaven in you.

I hope that its real,
the passion I feel.

I wish you the light,
as I steal the night.

I hope that its true,
the beauty in you.
