river of pro
fundity does
not always flow

through me
i prefer the
tributaries
each of

their waters
run differently
some humorously
in whimsical folly

while others not
necessarily fast
perhaps have
more rocks

and stones that
their water laps
and lapse into
slap stick

attaboy on the
back doing 
exactly
what

was
asked
of them
from the

beginning
for all these
brooks and
streams 

naturally botox
from mother's lips
into the mouth that
