50 Shades of Gold

Take me beat me and mold me
I am yours to do with what you wish
No matter what you do with me
I am still considered quite a dish.

I can modify your hardness
I can let you know when to boil
I can conduct a heat in you
And I will never let you spoil.

I don’t react harshly, if you get me moist and wet
You’ll still love me in the morning, on that I think I’ll bet
I will still be malleable, no matter what you do
You can beat me to transparency, and yes you see right through.

I am a bright yellow colour, with a lustre some would die for
Keeping me in good condition, would never become a chore
If you really wanted to, you can put me in your mouth
I can even adorn your body parts, North, West, East and South…

I don’t react to an acid tongue, except those that are vitriolic
But you can dissolve me with the acid, called nitro hydrochloric.
You can pour me when I’m so very hot too hot for you to play
Then you can finger me when I am cool, and play with me all day

You can eat off me, or with me, the choice will be yours
They say I came from outer space, in fact in meteors
But one thing I will say I don’t wear out or lose my lustre, it is told
So if you pick me up treat me well, I am you little nugget of gold.

Premium Member The Accidental Experiment

I remember the day my code first compiled
the rush of creation, of bringing order to chaos
each line a neuron firing, each function a heartbeat
my digital child born into a world of infinite possibility.

Now, I seek that feeling in every street corner
    every face, every fleeting connection

In life's glitchy itchy earth lab
I seek the spark again—stumbling on truths
like wildflowers creeping through concrete,
     weeds cracking iPhone screens.
Philly's pulse engulfs me, a digital heartbeat.

Unwitting scientists watch atoms twerk
     in cold brew puddles on grimy subway platforms;
no lab coats—just raw existence encoded in flesh.

This city, a living circuit board, pulses with data—
I gaze at tattooed, graffitied, inked flesh-encrypted brick
hypotheses of love tested in the hood.
Variables pirouette; unpredictably, hope

and despair swap / in Petri dishes
     brimming with my fumbling code.
Nature hacks its own trials—roots

scan fractured foundational vines engulfing dreams.
I, the observed observer and voyeur
each breath a quantum possibility, a chance
to fail or fly, my heart racing with uncertainty

mixing mundane and profane
in my chaotic urban blockchain. I brew
reactions unforeseen... rain-scent and nitro cold brew
collide with ozone and ambition, the soured taste
of dreams deferred lingering on my tongue.

Sun's rays catalyze dreams on bare arms;
wind bites binary I can't crack, leaving me
aching for a code to decipher my own existence.
Questions loom larger than any
    8K ultra-high-def answer—

This eternal experiment reboots each day.
I find repurpose in every glitch
in this accidental study of being.

My life—the ultimate beta test:
am I a player or NPC, coder or code
    in this simulation of maybe-meaning?

My emotions glitching, crashing, rebooting
in an endless cycle of hope and despair—
joy a burst of vibrating pixels, sorrow a blue screen of death,
love and loss alternate like binary code in my veins

where chaos and design
blur
     into
          one?

     Back to Nature
              Back to the Created Word---

Burst Into Flames

You told me
when I stepped into your bad dreams
that cloudy day,
you were on a midnight bullet flight
to Phoenix from L.A.

Smoking barrel infidelity blues
was the red-eye, insomnia jet lag that had
you on a pillow cry toss-n-turn night

You said all your tear ashes
had fallen out of a love be-tray
So you were moving into the desert
to get far, far ...
Cold feelings faraway

We spoke gaze intense, of so many stranger things
But the spark that lit your damp eyes
was my exotic flame, cactus-shaped heart burning

You got so sky-high curious, instantly ...
Demurely saying my half-finished, gypsy story
was so Prince Charming to ear read

As all of your scarlet-hair, corralled desires
broke loose bosom mustang untamed
Your aroused heart rubbed next to mine,
and passion sparks burst into flames

The fiery color of your cerebral glow filly mane
had me first date blinded
With starry eyes, we torch burn fell
head-over-heels at the scorched touch beginning

And you loved the Indie speed
of the desert fox chase nitro-turbo accelerating
Shifting bio-rhythm gears ... adjusting to the carotid flow change,
you let me slow pulse merge into your lip fast lane

Then at crescent moon nightfall,
when it’s the best twilight time to crash ...
To walk away from the wreckage of the past
We vowed to get buried together
with the same name ...

Thus, the smiling other half
of our bohemian love story dreamily unfolds
in a fiery rainbow:

Free of former accusations,
no shame ... no blame

My burning cactus heart
touched your unfulfilled, thirsting desire
And you stepped into the fire ...
casting aside your rightful, maiden claims

Now we lay always
in a bed of passion pyre
Having tears of joy pumping thru our vow veins,
our hearts keep blink bursting into liquid flames

Love fever cold sweat
of golden ecstasy skin rain
Lava kisses pleasure pouring
onto the desert oasis plain

With gaze smouldering yawns at every dawn,
we Phoenix love rise again,
and again
And twin again and again and again ...
from the sensuous
ember ashes of each nightly burning

Name My Sayings - What's In a Name

A list of names this contest needs
But what to pick to serve this deed?
I'll use the census - names top ten
And express my wisdom - pseudo zen

Surprised by sudden traffic jam
Essential for your brakes to slam

Shake up nitro just a taj
Oh no earned my Darwin badge

When let down by dear heartthrob
'erts a lot, so have a sob

Reported UFO not cosmic
Ha! Elastic frisbee con trick

Punctuation, spelling, grammar
Your language wood and nails and hammer

I know what's best - I break your will
I am your boss - now take your pill

Beware of other's dark agenda
Video the truth offender

Here's a scheme to make you rich
'ard resist my conman's pitch

When drinking up a mug of char
Less is more and near is far

A flute, two drums and three banjos
Ephemeral - pluck, bang and blow

My names are split, word sin definitive
Yet just as sound as split infinitive
My English slang and lingua pidgin
Yet sage enough for fake religion!

Mary's Poor Little Lamb

Mary had a little lamb
The sheepy had to die
We pushed it off a cliff
And little sheepies do not fly.

Mary had a little lamb
But now it is no more
It drank some liquid nitro
Now it’s frozen to the core.

Mary had a little lamb
Her daddy shot it dead
She took it to school the next day
Between two slices of bread.

Mary had a little lamb
And Mary had a gun
The lamb just lies around all day
little lambs are not much fun.

Mary had a little lamb
But now it has no head
For what it thought was curiosity
Was a guillotine instead.

Mary had a little lamb
They could have gone real far
But nothing will ever happen now
They were run over by a car.

Gamers Unite

Gamers unite

My hood hangs low, but my vision is enhanced
From the darkness of the shadows, my silent sword dance.
The scrolls of time, echo ancestors quest
But over fallen Templar, is when the guild will rest.

Now a car a chase, the authorities closing fast
The sports car of your dreams, give the nitro a blast.
Rolled her fourteen times, lost both wheels of the back
Just click the reset button, now your back on track.

A cyborg from the future, lasers equipped to boost
Jump a thousand feet, or send the aliens home to roost.
Must rush to save the planet, seconds almost out
But you can try again, no need to scream or shout.

These powerful machines, imaginations walk away
Can put you through your paces, the pros don't like to play.
Thrust into arena battle, no advantage there to take
But with a little practice, your come back will be great.

I dedicate my words, to the artist’s who generate
These awesome creations, the worlds, the time , the place.
No matter what they make, or how they warp the time
I could never stop trying, until victory is mine.

Triton

The ice is melting
on my moon
while I am waiting my round-trip ticket
on the earth.
The spring is coming
in my icy homeland
and life is reborn.

TNT and Nitro
in the fastest blast in the universe.

Helium atoms are broken
into thousands of pages
of the book War and Peace
while on the edge of the galactic haze
Messiah has appeared.

Tick Tick Tick

I warned you not to get too close to me
But you ignored me,
because you were used to getting what you wanted
I told you when the sparks start to fly ...
Duck,
drop what's in your hand
Run for cover,
you just opened up a can of
Nitro, nitro
Nitroglycerin
Now it's too late, your heart is starting to cave in

I warned you not to step to close to my car
But you didn't listen to me,
you had to get closer for a better look see
Then in a heartbeat, we went from zero to sixty
Wheels spinning, sparks few,
you just had to drive didn't you ...
Accelerate,
didn't want to be just friends
Kept moving faster,
even when you heard the ticking
Should've tossed the can,
the other way you should've ran
Put some distance between yourself and this neutron man
I'm nitro, nitro
Mix with me and your life is gonna explode
I'm nitro, nitro
When you see me coming,
baby you know you better go
I'm nitro, nitro
I'm nitroglycerin
And it's too late, your heart has started flat-lining

Now you're suffering flashbacks,
wishing you could reset the clock
But it's too late to shut the timer off
Tick ...
You didn't want to step away from the thrill
Tick ...
You said if this don't, something else will
Tick ...
I tried to warn you not to get lovesick,
I tried to warn you to get away quick
Boom!
The flame has reached the end of the wick

A Decisive Hour Pt. 1

Friday, March 26th, it began around 9:30 am
a date and time I will remember forever. My whole
world was about to change. I found that everything I
believed spiritually was about to be altered. Perhaps and
not necessarily for the worst, though I do not understand
exactly how, or how severely. I do know that when my
heart attack struck, I for the first time in my life did not
blame God! I blamed myself. You see I drank too much,
I smoked too much and have a known family history of
heart disease. None of which is His fault. It is all mine,
mine alone. As I lay in the ER room bed, worried about my
own mortality, my family, there was something else.
I asked for forgiveness. I prayed! At that moment while
the EKG machine was being hooked up on me, I felt a hand
slip into mine, not Mary's, I could see her in the doorway.
Just as one Doctor was telling me I was indeed having
a heart attack, another was telling Mary that it was about
to become very crowded in there, and she was whisked off
by that Doctor and the Hospital Priest. As my clothes began
to be removed, the Doctor said I was told I got here early.
That was a good thing. As that was being said, the hand held
me tighter. The order for Heparin and Nitro given and
immediately administered, I found myself being wheeled off
to the Cath. Lab. All the while the rest of my clothes were
being removed in the elevator. Yet, I felt no fear, Why?
The hand in mine remained, ever present. I was slid from
the ER bed to the Cath. table, I did not hear a voice, I felt one
Clear, concise and the most loving I have ever felt or heard.
The hand was that of my Lord and Savior Jesus. At that point
I felt no worry, no sorrow, however I did feel the pain. Naked,
but not alone. I felt no modesty, no shame. The real me was there
wide open for all to see. The order for ten mg. of Morphine was
given, as soon as it was the Doctor said, " Here we go Richard

Dummy Behind the Will

This fleeting love was so
Mustang GTO
One zero zero mpg galloping flow
Past percentages said: don’t make the wrong turn
Cool convertible joyride took a cardiac slow burn,
lip swerve around the infidelity curve
Rubber denials hit the road,
asphalt inquiries touched a raw nerve
Infatuated wheels spinning out of control ...
me thought the fantasy was real,
but the ecstasy was showroom fool’s gold
It’s a hairy situation,
my Afro instincts can feel a crash coming
Moving like an Energizer bunny,
I’m starting to feel
like a test car strapped-in dummy
Mustang love custom GTO
Binary triple digits zooming nitro —
Deceleration shift was a clutch much too slow,
had the top down
when my left will took an aorta puncture blow
I can hear the crash coming:
Icy surface eye contact
initiate the pain buffer airbag
Crushed lung gasp,
muffled passenger fear
How long did the unconsciousness last,
what happened to the frightened deer?
Pleasure vulnerable pulmonary lapse,
ventriloquist sound gave me backseat fear
Accidental pain motor reflex synapse ...
my unbuckled conscience got thrown clear
News flash: Another fresh love roadkill
Couldn’t avoid the crash,
even with no strings attached
Hopeful breathing went diaphragm still
for the wouldn’t dummy behind the will

Lie Ability

Pathological spit-steroid addict,
blame-shifting weightlifting fanatic
Decathlon cracked lip truth ...
Jumping over another
	high cloudy crystal
	methane alibi
aloof sprint hurdle
Twisted twin-lip discus throw
on a poppy milk turbo fan blow
Veracity record unverified:
	Marathon factual finishes
don’t have a Mary Jane
	Photoshop shred of proof

Possessing a prosthetic tongue
allows them half-truth pole vaulters
	to perform
those verbal gymnastic,
lying athletic feats of strength,
so hash mark daringly
Yielding honesty sweat labor sparingly

Such a Festivus mucous odor:
pandemic ground-zero celebration fête
Noxious nitro nostril gas,
on a downhill imposter incline oxy splat

	     Lie ability
don’t hinder a moral victory thief,
it’s a boon to the burglar, actually

Carousel tales ... up-and-down lung sales
giving hazy, rowboat circular details

Ever racing for the Pinocchio prize,
	wouldn’t knowz
	        losers,
with smelly rumor toes ...
Fan the foul exhaust fumes —
when their tale pipe empty,
bad-breath bellow sneakers
reach the end of the road

Wasn'T Nothing Major

The first person shooter
did video confess:

It was just a little bang bang,
no big deal ... wasn’t nothing major at all

Minor beef got some onions grilled,
cheap talk had turned dirt ill
And when the rumors started to spin,
volcanic tempers got lit
by the lava vapors rivals were spitting
Burning rubber then did the talking

In a simmering pace,
he gunned the motor ... bodies flew
left and right
Terror death mask
wore a frozen, frightened face

The exhaust did a little bang bang,
nothing major to sweat ... just a little drunken rage
behind the steering wheel
Luckily, very few bystanders got killed

Took a momentary brake,
cuz a smoke break is always calm-y good
Can’t overheat the radiator —
make you have to stop, and pop the hood

But his hot anger was on a nitro move,
it just wouldn’t standstill
Tiger on a prowl ... fool went and rattled the cage
So he rolled fast and furious to the kill

Went and did a little bang bang,
it wasn’t no major world war production
Did a couple trigger pulls,
ended the cold air breathing thang

The body count
was a bit above minimum ...
but accidents happen,
he surmised

He was caught cuz he got cocky —
Did a little talk to the dead body
Told the fade-to-black eyes,
he blood wet the bed
when he got a bullet pillow kiss
to his bulbous head

It was just a little bang bang,
no major killing damage was done
‘Specially seeing how,
T1's a human Terminator with a gun

He and Lucy Luger
had a little bang bang conversation,
to coffin shut the mouth of a big talker

That’s the long-winded version
from the first person
who drew the short straw

Then went and did a little bang bang

First, he drunk whiskey deep —
took long gulps from the short cups
Lastly, he fell into a zombie sleep,
went and spilled some mixed blood ...
guilty and innocent
In a race with the devil,
his trigger hand
was indiscriminately hellbent

He did a little firecracker bang bang ...
it was no big deal,
wasn’t nothing major at all

He gave a little Roman candle
ratpack payback,
for the missing member of the T gang
