The Clanking Chain of Wild Geese

The Clanking Chain of Wild Geese

I was watching the September sky every day,
With a hope to once again get a glance,
Of the clanking chains of those lovely wild geese,
That suddenly appears with their music melodies,
But quietly they disappear every year,
Like a Rainbow that comes and gets lost gradually.

No one knows when like a rainbow,
The wild geese would appear suddenly,
While changing their forms like clouds in the sky,
Mesmerizing our eyes for few seconds or more, and then,
Disappearing in the sky, like the dim vanishing evening.

The wild geese often appear in the sky,
Forming a shape like the garland of God,
And quickly changing shapes, like our emotions,
While moving in the sky like an arrow,
They sing the joyous songs of today, not tomorrow.

Forgetting the past and the future like an arrow,
Which keeps running, until it reaches its marrow,
The destination to pierce a heart,
They create either a joy or sorrow,
While singing a song of today, not tomorrow.

Oh, September sky I watch,wonder with ,
And hope to see them once again,
My childhood friends wild Geese,
Coming from north and vanishing in south,
Like my thoughts which arise and fall.

But this year, I did not see the winged necklaces of God,
Neither could I see a rainbow being formed,
Nor even hear their chorus like songs,
No clanking of wings, No music of their joys,
No rise and fall of images like thoughts,
No sounds and music touching my heart.

One day, I was stunned to hear,
The species of goose are in great danger,
Man has stolen many of even God’s necklaces,
The rainbow of birds and the grandeur of sky,
A great heritage of Nature is vanishing before our eyes.

Oh, my sweet friend,
Will I ever be able to see and hear you again?
When you would clank your wings, in the windless sky,
Creating a dance and music, on such lofty heights,
Where no musician can ever fly,
With a hope till I am here on this earth my friend,
I would keep waiting and watching
For you O wild Geese in the September sky.

Kwe'

Kwe’ explained he’s an elder, teaches the
ways of his people from their hearts – stories
and songs; spiritual rituals link
us all – we are all connected, beasts too.
Dedicate songs played to our ancestors,
their wisdom and knowledge has been passed on
from generation to generation.
Kwe’ swept arms wide as if embracing all
Nature, “here Spirit resides, we believe.
here for reflection and observation –
meditate on interconnectedness.”
Kwe’ picked up his flute, resumed playing tunes –
owl and coyote hooted and howled then
other forest creatures added their songs
creating a symphony of diverse
voices in unison – inter connect.

The Sound of Rain

Under the cover of light or darkness
music plays of the purest
of sounds.
Each note is different as it
forms within the air.
The music is created by something
that is mostly detested for its
ability to strike at the most
inconvenient moments; it is
the sound of rain.
It hits the dry ground, splashing
into embryo puddles, separating in
to spheres of droplets of the clearest
water.
Each sphere is like a diamond,
under rays of sun it creates
immense rings of colour, halved
by the sounding landscape thus
rainbows are born.
Rain is one face of nature that
is almost frowned upon but still
it persists regardless.
The sound it creates is one
to be listened to for it
percolates peace through every
soul.
The sound of music for its
ability to create calm is one
that seems to have been made
into a rare gemstone; it has
to be found to be treasured.
Rain might be frowned upon
but it is the source of all
life on Earth; we were all
born from water.

Come On My Friend

Come on my friend
to hear the music of rain
To hear the music of rain and to enjoy
Protect the green of this earth
To protect green and fertility of this earth
Plant trees and worship trees as more than your God
To give shelter to the next generation
Throw all your hacks and saws in the sea
Throw all your chemical manures and fertilizers in a deep pit
Use all green manures and natural nutrients
To safeguard the water and air
from all poisonous pollutions
Globe is His reward to all inmates
He gave this as a paradise
We should not spoil for our selfish needs
It has to be left as pure and good
to our forth coming generations
We are from her womb
that should not be made to suffer
We had taken our food from Her breast
that should not be stabbed to our lusty needs
Come on my friend
to enjoy this earth and it’s wonders
She is ready to serve you for a long
save Her and love her as your dear mother
Spread this Love as a mission all over this globe
Hold all your hands together to weave a new ozone layer
Gift that layer to your dear mother!

I Heard It's Cold Outside

Winter's raw voice
yelled against the pane
of my window, today
and I sat here to think
of a way to yell back.

The sun, it was hidden
and the snow was to blame
the clouds hung grey that bitter day

Piercing through the forest wall
I heard lies drifting frigid
through the trees, here to me
I heard the promise of warmth traveling

and the music that I heard
fell like snow in my midst
and it spoke in an artic melody

and the music that I heard
told me an icy truth...

I heard it's cold outside.
