Frozen In My Hour Glass
I pressed the button of facebook
And read- Memories Five Years Ago
An unforgettable day!
Every moment of that day
Is frozen in my hour glass
My life had taken a spin
Everyone was in a flutter
My institution was all decorated
In fresh blooms and rose petalled floor
The vrooming of motorcades and sirens outside
Limousines entered Our well guarded fort
Photographers excitedly adjusting their lenses
Tabloids in numbers crawling over the other ant like
The doors opened, the commandoes
The security guards rushed forward
And out alighted our much awaited
Nation's royal guest with her entourage
Smiling and waving, handshakes and pleasantries,
The Duchess of Cornwall!
I moved forward with my Director
To welcome the uncrowned heir
Who visited us to see the amalgamation
Of educational and cultural research
Between the two homes of Kohinoor
The Duchess beside me and I beside the Duchess
She in all sobriety and I in all glow
To escort and exemplify the integration
Of our countries over the next one hour-
The minutes were fixed-
Via cultural programmes and presentations
That One day remains etched against
The thousands of days in my professional life
The fairy tales books of kings and queens
Had opened a new leaf for that one hour
Like Mary Poppins I glided and flew
In a surreal dream world
Flashed in the newspapers
To be engraved in history

Families are the most important social unit in existence on earth today. For it is out of the
family that every worker, teacher, preacher, agnostic, librarian, construction worker, mason,
mayor, Senator, Congressman, President, World Leader, mothers, fathers, and yes, every
man and woman who fills an occupation (or not) grow to be the individual that they are.
Families are important because the beginning of all feelings originate right there in the
home. A newborn child may feel the love and affection of adorning parents. Or, if the
parent is a drug addict or mentally challenged, the child will have a different experience, an
unpleasant one that no child deserves. We are what we choose. And our choices teach the
young ones.
There are a myriad of variables that influence an individuals feelings of self-worth, good or
bad. The family is the place where love and care are learned and shared. Anger
management, good or bad, is taught by example. Manners, good or bad are taught or not…it
depends. Everything that a man or woman becomes has its roots in the family.
So, given this, let us all work together as parents, siblings, aunts, uncles, grandparents,
nieces, nephews, cousins, and even friends to become the best possible individuals within our
families that we can. Let each of us strive for peace in the heart, the home, the city, the
nations, the world. Because we are all God’s children. And we deserve the best possible
life. A little bit of heaven on earth can happen if everyone does their part to live, love,
forgive, and enjoy what God has given them.

~Wishing You All Very Happy And Most Wonderful Valentine's Day! ~
Late night crying, no time for you
Babies sleeping "cannot move".
Stepping on Legos and watching cartoons,
It all becomes worth it when they look at you.
Hair pulling, diapers, dark circles, and weight gain
Thinking was this worth the pushing and pain?
Then you look down and see the most beautiful eyes
Whether adopted, planned or a total suprise.
You're a mother, a hero, that child's first love
And that's your gift from God sent down from above.
From the "don't you move!", time outs, screaming and snot
Wash your hair, brush your teeth, bed time
Weak you are NOT.
There's no greater fear than that look from your mother,
But there's no greater love you could feel from another.
She's your biggest cheerleader,
Your best source of advice,
Life may be hard
But her hugs are concise
She gave up her freedom, her body, her life
Just to pick you up from school when you get in a fight
She wipes your mouth, your tears and your blood,
She comforts your heart when it breaks from love.
She would die for you and protect you from harm,
She would cry more than you if you broke your arm.
But you take her for granted you don't listen and suffer
But there's no greater love you could feel from another
You sit and complain that she doesn't understand
But the single mother does her best to raise a boy into a man.
And when your 15 and pregnant and she yells and cries
It's because she feels like a failure for YOUR poor choice in life.
When you yell in her face because you can't go to the mall,
She's still waiting tables to pay for it all.
Is it worth it that day that you tried to sneak out,
And she stayed up all night while you were wandering about?
She drove for hours thinking you were dead,
She couldn't stop the fears going through her head.
We're all so selfish when it comes to our mother,
Remember there's no greater love from another
She gave you her effort, her trust and her love
And one day you won't see her she'll be up above.
You'll wish she was there to yell all 3 names
And be late picking you up from your soccer games
Someday she'll be gone so give her a hug
Tomorrow she may not be there to bug

Surmising
About the most important thing before
LEAVING!
Not my crystals
Not my bank accounts
Not my properties
Not my jewelries
Not my beauty
Not my fame
LOVE is the most important thing!
