Premium Member The Lines On Your Hand

The lines on my hand are baby-like soft, and pink with an almost
                        Imperceptible blue undertone.
there are bracelets of x’s around my wrist.
		I stare at them fascinated.
It is said that the closer the lines are the same on both hands,
The more apt you are to living the life you had planned
		Before you arrived.
Most of us have three deep lines in our palms.
The top Is the head line.
		The length does not matter.
Is it deep? That is the important part.
The middle line is the heart line.
Does it branch off? It usually does. There are marriage lines
And relationship lines, less noticeable, but
There if you know where to look.
The line that makes a half moon around your thumb is your life line.
Oh, my gosh, yours is short? No worries.
It does not mean what you thought for a second.

If you really want to be fascinated by your hand lines, check out a palmistry book.
Circles, whorls, loops, and x’s mean different things.

The length of your fingers, and the relationship of one to another mean something too.

I have no idea how accurate the study of palmistry is, but it is fun to study,
And if you lose your hands in a pile of hands,
It will be a lot easier to identify them.

Premium Member Brother Death

Even in the last days you need clean clothes;
therefore you may be found in the laundry
mornings, small task against the larger one
of not breathing. With simple joy
men may forget to fear their deaths.
Six inches of snow reminds us of its dominance
in a pleasant way. Coming and going of sleep,
circling of the moon around the earth, earth
around the sun. The great man dies
and this makes death more noble for us all.
It is with joy that I accept the pains
that herald my end. I do my job well.
I go to the well and break the ice for water.
The bucket comes up full of dying wonder.

Universe For Children

Sleep my child you’re here in my heart, we’ll remember this day as our new start.
We’ll use those preyers to find our dreams, across the mountains, avoiding those thieves.
When we sleep we’ll find our peace, for the spirits will lead us to our release.
Heavens gift is not in gold, it’s within the love we share and hold.
Luck is not gift wrapped or a tasty treat, it’s in each step we dare to meet.
Life is learning how to be strong, having the courage to carry on.
Miracles are not always huge or tall, it’s seeing the good in something small.
My child, life is not a chocolate treat, nice and tasty always sweet.
So we prey and keep our faith, together we can clear the tears from our face.
Sleep my child your safe in my hand, I promise to do the best that I can.
A hardened life you’ve had to bear, often feeling like mummy’s not there.
I promise this I’ll never leave, I’ll stand and fight, we’ll always breath.
Sleep my child rest your head, remember my love is born and bread.
We just took time to find our place, to find that smile we lost on our face.
I love you my children you are my gold, you are the treasure that I love to hold.
Above the moon around the stars! right around Pluto and right through Mars.
Right around the universe with a single spark! reaching right back to your place in my heart.
I love you more with each passing day; it will never fade or drift away.
Together forever, Eternally loved!

Book: Radiant Verses: A Journey Through Inspiring Poetry

It Is Hard To Step Down

It is hard to step down
And abandon my private universe
Utopia….. You may call it
But it’s a heaven of myself

With trees longer than General Sherman
And cascades of Elixir rushing
Down from the top of every cliff

It has animals of all breeds
All live in harmony and at peace
Birds of different colors
Singing melodies to each other

Sun shines there everyday
Rain too sprinkles with the rays
Forming a rainbow of many colours
With every hue bright and clear

Sorrows have been dead since forever
Their graves lie in the bottom of that great chasm
That separates cliffs from the gardens,
Watered by the third cascade
Thanks to that out grown rock
Which won't let the water fall in to the chasm below

Beyond the grounds opposite to cliffs
There are mountains covered with snow
Oh I love hiking in cotton snow

Nights are more magical than you can imagine
A bright moon around the valley runs
Singing lullabies to everyone
Fireflies dance all night beside the milky weeds
Until Dawn forces them to sleep

Who needs wings to fly?
When you have universe by your side
Fearies take up at dawn
To roam around in the Crimson sky

I look at the region beneath
Full of life, hues, joy and peace
Small but enchanted...
It is my life....

Premium Member What If This Were You

What if….you had a stroke?

And could.not move or tell a joke!

What if you found, you could not pen.

Nor walk to see the moon around the bend?

What if speaking were impossible?

How would you make happiness possible?

Imagine the walls staring down at you.

If only..if only…you could say a word or two!

Children of the Upper Crust

Children of the upper crust
upon the earth...........
that must be us!

They draw a circle on the ground,
so they can dance the moon around,
and then they draw another one,
so they can promenade the sun.

Put lightning bugs in mason jars,
so they can twinkle like the stars.

Why do you always come around
to moralize and fuss and frown?

"Because I have no inner child
I'm just a parent,always riled,
When I see children having fun,"

But it's party time the work is done!
They made a barrel full of tea,
with jujubes for you and me.

They even brought a phonograph
the wind up kind to make you laugh.

but you have never laughed out loud,
you wear your silence like a shroud

a shroud of pure maturity
no inner child could hope to free.

But there's a tickle potion dear,
I think they put it in your ear.

It takes you back to one or two,
when someone stole the child from you.

So don't look now ,but you may find,
the little girl inside your mind.

Christmas Surprise

A blue sky brings wondering eyes
A peaceful sight with so much delight
As the suns rays breach the sky's above
Letting the clouds shine and flow with
Its wonderus glow. As night falls the sun
moves on bringing the moon around
for its night time fun, The sky's turning dark
The stars beginning to appear, A radiant sight for
All this time of year. As the temperature drops the
Sky fades to black as clouds move in for there
Quick night time trick. A sight of no other begins to
Appear as white little fairies drop down so clear,
A wonderful sight i have never seen landing down so
Gracefull and neat. A snowy merical arrives
To night, to break Christmass morning with such delight.

To Touch Your Face

over
the dark
 and windy world,
 starlight
dances
 a
cosmic whirl

 around
the black
and
 sunless sea,
eternal planets
falling
free.

spin
the sun and
moon around,
catch
 a comet
shooting down.

in all
 this universal
grace,

I still just wait,

to touch
your
face.

Ragnarock and Roll

The Earth goes rocking the moon around,
the rainbows' wrenched from the sacred ground.
The axis wobbles to and fro,
the dance of the Druids starts below.
The surface shivers and shakes the stars,
the trembling planets turn to Mars.
The war God howls and thunders forth,
bludgeoned by his fateful course.
     The universe recoils in pain,
stake through the heart of man's domain.
     Foundations falter, tumble down around
the cosmos thorny crown.
The shock waves travel the Earthquake line,
and silence holds the hand of Time.

On Mango Mountain

Basin of the valley caught
and pinned by gushing river mouths
swirling with the weight of water
etching grooves like finger prints
Over stones dug from the gullet
moved aside and torn asunder
from what once was Mango Mountain
built to kiss the sky
This is where you're bound to find me
singing sun and moon around me
feet still piercing the river's throat
to quiet the bubbles and hum
On the wind it dryly carries
flint of foot and music merry
to the gorge of gripping green
unripe fruitage sunk unseen.
Stained my skin an olive orange
mountain tears and unsung summit
hold me, curve me round the bends
to sleep in constant transit
Mouth of blue activity
snapping forth to gasp and breathe
twisting earth in a liquid pulse
sweeping insignia hence.

Young on a Dirt Road

Black top was miles and miles away
Dirt road as far as you could see
The future just a minute away
Was everything you wanted it to be
Taking our time but not slowing down
Heads in the clouds, bare feet on the ground
Up with the sun, chasing the moon around
Dirt road living with a real country sound
The black top was miles away
The dirt road was here to stay
Or so we thought
In younger days
Hand me down clothes and used cars
Knowing right from wrong wasn’t so hard
Sunday School and parties at the lake
Life like this is too damn real to fake
We were young on that old dirt road
Didn’t listen to half the things we were told
Fishing poles and twenty-twos
Cowboy boots and tennis shoes
The black top was miles away
The dirt road was here to stay
Or so we thought
In younger days
On a dirt road we were living wild
Free and being nature’s child
Free and living nature wild
Black top was miles away
Thought that life would stay
But the dirt road has gone away
And though the black top’s here today
My heart still runs that dirt road way
The black top was miles away
So very very far away…and the dirt road…
Goes on forever
In my heart
