Colours of My Dream

Iridescent bubbles, in my sleep, I see
a mishmash of things: some dear to me,
some odd - mind's subtle hues gleam,
a hodgepodge they seem;
Aw! in my
dream
I see sky
with two suns and stream -
baffling scenes, mismatch, I deem;
Still, I love my mind's craftwork, I glee,
iridescent bubbles, in my sleep, I see

Mishmash

People say nothing is impossible.
But, I don’t care what they say!
I know nothing ain’t impossible,
cause I do nothing every day!

I’m not afraid to face death!
Facing it is fine!
My only stipulation is,
the death I’m facing ain’t mine!

Life can be a puzzle.
That I will admit!
Cause 10% is what happens to us,
and 90% is how we react to it!

It happened without much notice!
Entirely, without my consent!
All of a sudden, my ole git up and go
has just done, got up and went!

I used to get excited,
when a nice young chick walked by!
Yeah, I used to get excited
but now, I can’t remember why!

Jack and Jill went up a hill,
to fetch a pail of water!
Now, Jill is living all alone!
I guess her husband caught her!

There was an old woman
who lived in a shoe.
She had so many children
till she discovered, what not to do!

Here’s what I think about strangers.
I hope you will never forget!
There really are no strangers,
just friends, you haven’t met!

I read some quotes from Mark Twain.
One that stood out, that I saw,
“Adam, was the luckiest man in the world,
cause he had no mother-in-law!”

Love Thy Neighbor says the Bible.
Which sorta scares me a bit!
Loving Thy Neighbor may seem ok,
just don’t get caught at it!

Mishmash

Away from this mishmash world,
Alone, just by myself,
in the serene solitude of seclusion,
Wrapped up in the gathering gloom
of this solemn dusk,
I am at peace at last with myself.

With the sun long gone and
the moon lost in a maze of haze,
With the hills standing gray and mute,
Where would one go to find
one’s soul lost along the way?

Mishmash of thoughts,
smashing potatoes,
brightened with butter
and lots of salt.

Wherever was i,
thoughtless, scattering,
smishing and smattering
what ought

to be sound, fearless
and earth shattering—
a cause.

Finally,
the mishmash
of thoughts,

lined up,
tear down
the page…
all the rage,

totally engaged,
a symphonic sage,

a madman’s parade,
a sword twisted—
a poem wielded and waged.

Greetings, hello I just know
Alpha line poetry's a toxic write
Demented moment my muse is slow
Brainpower dormant, what a plight!

 Loves magic's now over, pain
Loss endured feeling sorrow
no use ranting nothing to gain
Speechless lament colours tomorrow.

 A bashful cavalier dreams everynight
Images filled with yearning hunger
Sparkling blue eyes will at last delight
His bleak lonely life torn asunder.
