You May Not Be Blood But Your Still Family

You come over all the time

We talk about everything

And anything

I know I can come to you

With anything because you

Will always understand

We have a lot in common

Some people ask why do you

Even talk to her

She don’t care about you

At all

I tell them

They don’t know you like I do

And they never will

Because even though you’re not

Blood you are still my family

No matter what happens in

Twenty years or even two weeks

Down the road we will always be

Sisters for life

And I happy that I can look at you

And say I love you sis

Life May Not Be Fair

Life may not be fair,
But we can still choose to treat each other fairly,
Love each other dearly,
And perform acts that are kindly.

If we do these things blindly,
Things will automatically,
Improve exponentially.

Premium Member Saint George May Not Be English

St. George May not be English
By Bob Moore(c) 2016

St. George may not be English
but he’s England’s Patron Saint
St. Patrick is Saint of Ireland
but an Irishman he ain’t

St David was a Welshman
but St Andrew, not a Scot
the brother of Saint Peter
so Scottish he was not

St. Denis, Patron Saint of France
an Italian was born,
and Spain has the Virgin Mary
we celebrate that special mom

Most patron saints have helped the country
where they are now revered
to rid the population
of the things they have most feared

Legend says St Patrick
chased the snakes into the sea
whether this is true or not
remains a mystery

And did St George slay all the Dragons?
in England’s pleasant land
or is this just a story
passed down from hand to hand

These legends and these stories
are lost in myth, and history
but there are no snakes in Ireland
and in England, no dragons there be.

You May Not Believe Me

you may not believe me nor in my faith,
But I'll be there always till ends our fate
Together by stars predestined and God.
May my all I hope you accept though odd.

With my heart and soul I love you ,my dear ,
Whose affection I'll whisper in your ear.
Your silence frightens me. I wish you saw
With what fondness I do hold you in awe .
With my heart and soul I love you, my dear.

Erudition May Not Go With Education

I'm sure everyone has met a few of these:

Planning on college but can't formulate a sentence
or spell shoe
Still they want a degree so they think college will do
Many leaders in the world never had a formal education
Such as Ford, Lincoln, Churchill, Truman and Edison
What they learned they acquired by their own volition
And could out shine the masses by their erudition.

Does higher education improve those who haven't
the equipment they need
Not likely because no harvest is gleaned from a field
gone to seed

Lack of learning many examples come to mind
But they're really common… not hard to find
intellectual lack includes
"Who was Plutarch? Oh it's a relative of Pluto"
"Isn't that something everyone should know ?"
"In Ancient times there was WWII"
"Not many people then only a few"
"What is Sagittarius, can't locate it"
"Something about archery…maybe Robin Hood
would fit"
"I'm surprised about Robin Hood that you know
 about him"
"Well it's an eating place where you can carry out
or eat in"
So those dim in the head don't waste your
resources
By going to school to take erudite courses
Not a thing will stick in your head from that
school
And it should be remembered not even God can
teach a fool

I May Not Be Smart, But I Am Not Stupid

Here we go again.
Silly boy.
Tell me no lies.

I may not be smart.
But I am not stupid.
These words you speak are like flies.

Annoying little bastards.
Getting stuck in my hair.
Even though I shall not believe.

I may not be smart.
But I am not stupid.
Not so easy to decieve.

I May Not Be Here Tomorrow

I May Not Be Here Tomorrow!

When tomorrow comes, I may not be here!
This life I have… Could just disappear!

I may think of this world as my “sanctuary.”
But my life down here, is just temporary!

Life just passes me by, and goes by fast!
I can think of many things done in the past!

But the past is gone by…
  Tomorrow’s another day!
What am I going to do?
What am I going to say?

I don’t know about the future,
 or what it may bring.
Life has it’s way of bringing
good and bad things!

I’m going to look to Jesus and give him my trust!
Living daily for him...
I shall try! I must!

Jesus holds tomorrow in the palm of his hand!
Everything about me... He already understands!

HE shall be here tomorrow! Till the very end!
He’s somebody I can give my life to! And depend!

I come to you Jesus! For comfort and delight!
I know that with you, everything will be alright!

Life may not turn out the way
 I expect it to be!
But Jesus will take care of it all!
 Most assuredly!

Nuclear Powers--Might May Not Be Right

Although you have acquired enough Might

But you do not have any moral Right

To render this humanity in a merciful Plight

As through your dreadful mental Flight

You have achieved the destructive Height

The situation now has become so Tight

That just with a provocation Slight

A ' Nuclear War' is very much in Sight

Think of the day after the ' Nuclear Night'

It would be full of Death, Sorrow and Fright

So now is the only time to Alight

From your towering plans to Fight

Think of the future, turn it Bright

Live with the nature, enjoy its Light

So keeping this reality in Foresight

To Trump and Kim, I lent an Insight

They decided to meet, with an Invite

And finally this time, without any Qualm

Each having Peace, written on his Palm

They are now meeting, this time in Vietnam

Hope they behave, quite cool and Calm

              MEETING SCENARIO

For the second time, they would now Meet

With a warm handshake, expected to Greet

Both will relish, the Vietnamese Treat

Ready to achieve, a historic Feat

While each carrying his strategic Folder

Trump walking tall, looking a bit Older

He puts his hands, on Kim's Shoulder

Peace is emanating, from every Boulder

                 HEATED ARGUMENTS

With each other now, they would Bump

Kim then saying, while attacking Trump:

Decide whose country , is a den of Vice

You were the inventors, of this Device

     And attacked Japan, intentionally Twice

Now trying to give us, so cunning Advice

When these facts, Kim may Apprise,

Trump will be taken, by great Surprise

Would claim that step, was really Wise

To halt the war, that was on the Rise

            SENSIBLE DISCUSSIONS

Look..... fully loaded is our Nuclear Cart

Pressing our buttons, can make them Dart

To alter the world's, geographical Chart

If destructive invention, is a scientific Part

It's effective prevention, is a humanistic Art

So never let this, foul game Start

Retreat happily, with a clearer Heart.

World would accept us, as very Smart.

Judge Not That You May Not Be Judged

standing
upon the edge
you can look far and wide
but you cannot take another step, lest
 you die.

extremes
 not to esteem
 precarious position
when the absence of balance kills
 vision.

Though We May Not Be Saints -Roundabout Poem

I take my pen, write words to paint,
With boldness, color lines.
My views reveal,
Some thoughts I feel,
With boldness, color lines.

When there’s a need, strong words define,
Strike hard, bear truth at will.
Hit the mighty
Powers that be,
Strike hard, bear truth at will.

Courage stands with a heart of steel,
Expressed in poetry.
It will not faint,
defy restraint,
Expressed in poetry.

To point out truth is writing free,
Though we may not be saints.
Threats can’t confine
What we incline,
Though we may not be saints.

She May Not Act Human

I treated this strange creature with great care
I knew she was not human, so unfair
She looked like my old cat before it died
Someone give her food, make sure it’s fried

She could not mew nor bark nor did she speak
I did not tell her that she was a freak
She liked to use her hair as a defence
Peering out as if in recompense

But if I’d cut it off, she would have screamed
As she watched the music fly in streams
She saw her visions and she talked to Lights
Noone human is vouchsafed such sights

But still I liked to gorge on her cheese flan
She might not act quite human but who can?

Ask Questions You May Not Want the Answers To

Hope I remember everything I wanna say, Probably will if I'm feeling this way...
Your real, no filter so I'm expecting the truth got a couple questions for you..
The truth can't change the love I have for you but definately can change the things that I'd do.
I don't plan on over reacting but you need to be understanding..
Give me a clear explanation on where you see us going..
I'm headed to the top regardless if you plan on rolling..
I picture you my right hand, riding could be my imagination but I think it's the connection.. Hope this just ain't another lesson cus I look at you as a blessing.
You already know how I'm feeling& when you were gone a big part of me was missing.
When I speak you listen, in the letters..
It's my heart your reading.. So don't break me before you ever decieve me, leave me. Especially if in your heart you feel you will never love me .

I May Not Be Your Best Option

I may not be that man you so much wanted;
That man you carved in your deepest imagination,
One who is too good to be human and whose air graces the eye.

I must have threaded a path,
A path I so much dreaded
But fate only laid me bare
Just like an iron lay bare in the hands of a blacksmith.

I may not be your best option
Among thousands of your would be suitors
Each with his resume of dainty degrees,
Heaps of galled grammars, Stools of Sacredness,
Crew of Cars, and nobleness in names.
And if asked where I lie,
There among the sun burnt lawn I lay in anticipation.

Like an Hunter in the forest,
I woke to the mockery of the grasscutters,
And to the soliloquy of the afternoon bee,
While the thorns inscribed words on my flesh
In my quest to bring home a prey.

I can boast over a shot,
A shot I am still to make
From this angle that I lay
While in my mind I do pray.

I may not be your best option
One who could bring you all the happiness you do crave,
But if you believe in a better me,
From our imperfections, we can be brave-
While sailing along this matrimonial sea.

It May Not Seem

it may not seem
to the naked eye
that fire burns
in a stifled cry
that sparks arise
that never fly
that lips without
words
hungrily unpry
in the verdant valley
of unsure thighs
in surrender
of spasmodic cries
did we almost die
were we lovemaking
on that try?
the pong of the ping
and power growing
was that volley singing
the song of our flowing?
do we come when we go
into the core of our hearts
do we reassemble
our orgasmed parts?
fragments of pain
from childhood’s wake
fierce fire
melts them whole
for love’s sake
tears follow rivulets
that laughter makes
as our bodies
paintbrush
this unmarked space
with tongues that
taste
the flavor
of sweet embrace
plunging us into
amazing Grace
ours is the blessing
of passionate peace
wild lovers churned
by Indigo’s feet
steel desire
silk’s caress sweet
we are the fire
where life
and death meet
we are that place
that lives in release
that place called Eden
where the sacred
heart beats.
