Best Lost Loveearth Poems

Sunset

The ripples flow steadily then flutter away
The illusion of an impossible feat
The Earth consumes the sun at the end of the day
A beautiful sight, a sun setting treat

Somehow it seems like the sun melts in the ocean
Extinguishing its light, all in slow motion
We sit and admire it, me myself and I
Until the stars are sprinkled, above in the sky

The sea gulls hastily, on a fishing spree
To avoid being caught by the night
Calling to others with a will to stay free
As they fill the sky in a frantic flight

The breeze blows as if to sweep the impurities away
Preparing the Earth for the birth of a new day
The sillhouette of people scavenging the sands
Some with metal detectors finding cans

But the most breath taking of all is the firy red sky
Just for a moment as the sun says goodbye
All scerene tranquility so fresh and so new
But this has no meaning when I’m not with you

Premium Member What On Earth Is Wrong With You

“Friends” is what she wanted to do
But no, no, no, you needed to
Profess your love through and through
She already knew what you would do
~What on earth is wrong with you~

“Friends” is what she wanted to do
She knew being alone was not easy for you
You grab hold of whatever’s new
To get you through lonely nights and early morning blues
~What on earth is wrong with you~

But no, no, no, you needed to
Lie and deceive and try to juggle two
But yet again she saw right through
The games you played but she had a point to prove
~What on earth is wrong with you~

Profess your love through and through
She listened and played your game too
Giving you just enough while her plan she brewed
She kept playing you and you had not a clue
~What on earth is wrong with you~

She already knew what you would do
You simply could not choose
Her kindness and friendship you abused
Her love and emotions you continued to use
~What on earth is wrong with you~

Friendship is all she ever wanted with you
She knows you better than you think she do
All along she watched your moves
All along she had another dude too
~What on earth is wrong with you~

How does it feel to be used
How about being one of two
Why do you look so confused
You fell in love and her point she proved
Now who’s the one with the broken hearted blues
~What on earth is wrong with you~

Moving On

Moving on is the name of the game.
That's what you're suppose to do when the feelings aren't the same!
To love another is a gift from above.
Love is something that is a part of God's love.
We don't touch, hug, or even kiss.
Can you on this earth tell me why we do this?
We don't say hi, bye, or even good-night!
When we do say something, we tend to argue, fuss, and fight!!
We don't even say I love you anymore.
When it comes to the count, we don't even make the score.
The feelings aren't the same and the love making has changed,
When we don't communicate, and it's a darn shame!
How on earth did we come to this?
Being with you is something that I truly miss.
Moving on is the way to go,
Especially if we don't love each other anymore!!
Moving on is something that I don't want to do,
But somehow I feel that we'll both agree to this Boo!!
I love you, and I always will.
I guess we gave each other all that we had to give.
I just know that this is not the way I want to live!
Truly understanding each other is the way that it should be,
And if we can't do that, then we should move on see!!!!

Playing With Heartstrings

The earth, she trembles tonight
as the Gods stare down
at the destruction caused by the fates
who dared play with the heartstrings of love,
the two lovers who were said to be so envied
betrayed by faith to their God
by bigots in his congregation
and she watches as he then walks away.
Pulling her own heart farther from her
the strings stretched out between them
her faith disintegrating by his last words
but this love played by the fates, was perennial
but now too, it is only her prison
yes, now it is only her prison.
And the earth is still trembling
from the aftermath of such self destruction
and the Gods can only watch
this destruction they have caused
love and lover
"Deny me the truth from your lips"
kissing lips of blasphemy
just to keep herself alive.
Or so she says,
and she can feel the earth trembling
only to remember it is her.
