Reach for the stars endeavor
to be all you can be. Work at
your strengths, the end results you
will see.
The only way is up, as far as
you can go. The stars won't
come down to meet you,
up there you've got to go.
Determination, perseverance
is the aim. if you are serious
and you want to be a part
of this interested game.
Form:
I cried a new galaxy of stars
wondering if all was lost,
and I braved a new world
thinking the old was diminished
but all was not lost
and nothing diminished,
as one light snuffs out
another ignites
rising over the breast
of a new world, rests Hope,
glimmering minutely but glittering
the stars of our universe
Sat on the roof of the old quarry shack,
The stars were as clear as can be,
An acoustic guitar was strapped to his back,
And a trembling was stirring in me,
Slowly he started, a slow rythmic thread,
A tingling, all down my spine,
Guitar man, once performed by Bread,
Was erupting from this man of mine,
A more beautiful moment I cannot recal,
The tones, like a drug, soaking in,
I e to my left, he's so handsome, so tall,
Feel euphoria slowly creeping,
By the end of the song, The stars up above,
Were shooting all over the sky,
That was the moment that I fell in love,
A most incredible, drug free high.
A little of the moon the sparkle of stars to brush with faith,
In friendliness fell in line with a shooting stars gait,
Sorceress melts and delights with her strategist mate;
Missed priorities confined to surrogate bumpkins fate.
Endearing jolt in mused lightening falling from grace,
Smothers earthly love to unwind a victory parade,
Tempts disaster to look for freedom in friendly place;
An oracle says she can never usurp or degrade.
Lovers are morons for they know not the truth of life;
Ego less friends our true lies in an ethical strife.
So when the stars in the sky
Fall into a liquid pool of mire
The world will have ended
All chance, all hope, will have suffered
Its demise and we will
Have nothing to look forward to
Or dare ever gaze upon again
Let not the stars fall
As it is our choice, our right
To grant eternity to the night sky
As it has granted unto us
Let not our choices destroy
That which we have not made
I saw a falling star
in the sky, so far away,
on this cool summer night.
Falling stars are like memories
so long ago and so far away,
now faded into dust and vapor.
Falling stars like youth,
are only here for short time,
then are gone and out of sight.
Falling stars like childhood,
enjoy them while you can,
because once there gone,
it's over.
