Ah, Wind, we've known each other so long.
While creatures run quickly from your side,
I've tried to find kindness in your song
but your howls become hard to abide.

You loudly roar blowing doors ajar,
trees bent weary by ceaseless pummel.
I hear your rumble, beginning far
announcing yourself, never humble.

Beneath blue skies, a rustle of leaves,
a gentle breeze stirring grains of sand.
Clever Wind sending Zephyr to tease
but we now know the tricks in your hand.

You can charm dust into whirling dance
spinning her round as dust devils fly.
Then do your best to spoil a romance
with your chuckle as they reach the sky.

Unmentionable tantrums and blows,
your foot stamping when you are annoyed.
Leveling towns, do you regret those
heartbreaks caused as you merrily toyed?

Sometimes forlorn, or is that a guise,
when quickly you stop, tempering voice?
is that sadness I see in your eyes?
With flashes of scorn, you make your choice.

Premium Member Ambedo- The Anthill

Quote:
"Ambedo- a kind of melancholic trance in which
you become completely absorbed in vivid sensory
details- which leads to a dawning awareness
of the fragility of life." — J. Koenig

I saw a large round anthill in the dirt
and marveled at the intricate design
of what they were about. My heart was sad,
and yet, without a thought, I moved away
to let the grader push ahead- right through

their little world; at once they disappeared.
What purpose to it all? They worked so hard
to have it end like that- never knowing
the what, how, when, or why? I brushed a tear
beneath my eyes- my eyes, which saw no line,

between these tiny ants and us; between-
this simple grader leveling the ground,
with such destructive, unexpected force-
and seismic tragedies- or cosmic shifts-
destroying this, our world- from time to time.

(THE GHOST)

In the naked eye,
Pure death approaches!

Incredibly hollow, kick the bucket long ago
No, whiff nor smell when “THE GHOST” is around
Abuses the whiteness, in which exists inside these sheets
It can be the cost and the intellect of your overdose in question
Go ahead and dig your own grave
I have already commissioned your headstone
You won’t be remembered,
The aftermath this GHOST creates
---will leave you babbling, even in your crate
This is that whiteness you do not want to feel or taste.

Once he or she was a nobody, is now “The Infamous Ghost!”
The one that lives inside your ‘Indian Hollow Walls.’
The Ghost’ leaves heat behind in your room.
It prowls around,
---leaving you within a near death experience every night.

This' ghost left behind will wreak mayhem on your soul,
Shh! Listen to your walls, they speak quite a routine.
Once you see yourself with broken wind, and watery eyes.
Do not believe this is your maker in the process.
‘The Ghost’ with eyes so potent compels a numbing stare!

If there really is such a thing as reincarnation,
Then you had better remember
--- that this ghost was a ghost in its own past life
‘The Ghost’ can have you breathing out tears so intense
Leveling your entire room with fear
Not even your frightened watery eyes will salvage your soul
Nothing will come in handy before you expire.
‘The Ghost’ will incinerate your obituary.

         …READING…

“There is nothing to Fear but Fear itself! “By Franklin D. Roosevelt!”
That, and the fear is all this fearless 'Ghost will leave behind.
 Everlasting rational fear.

Premium Member My Hot Drug, You

You ...

Burn fast in me
Searing like molten metal in my veins
Coursing my flesh with fiery magma, streaming
Each breath taken is more oxygen to feed the flames you ignite

Bones and marrow scorched with electric ferocity, afire
Core, being, skin, extremities, life itself - hot to the touch
For your steamy, torrid, id's sake alone, I light
Smouldering lava love speeds, leaving carnal chaos in its wake

Leveling all in its path with prurience, omnipotent
You are my hot drug, my spicy opiate
Imbued in an instance's consideration of your eyes
Or those plump, juicy fruits you call lips

Your streaked, heather tresses or satin dermis
Your curves and their sublime movements, defying gravity
Those hundred little places that quiver at the touch
I am addicted, and I drive you into my veins with reckless regard

Fast, searing, soul-pounding rushes of passion
That, in my best of minds and composure
I can never get enough of
And will surely die ...

In its grip.

Premium Member Conflict - Tomboy Or Girl

The bark worn smooth,
a scamper up.
Looking down takes my breath away.
Leveling off, I’m safe in the cockpit.

Flying the Iowa skies, way above the tassels,
Control panel at my fingertips.
Spreading my wings and charging the clouds.
Birds skimming by.

The branch cradling my adventure
is broad,
back firmly against the trunk,
sun over my shoulder.

Apple blossom shadows on my arm.
Between petals and freckles,
bright spot lights of sun
sparkle on my skin.

The petals are so pretty.
I pick a bouquet,
shinny down the tree, and
bring apple blossoms home to my mother.

What a misbegotten soul am I, to be lost upon isolation’s paradise,
Marooned on desolation’s tropical island of plenty, except for
Human championship, humanities driftwood a captured cast
Away, from civilization’s socialization, thus I’m alone survivor
Of life’s shipwreck!
Collisions hardship volunteer trapped, upon the coral reef
Beyond stresses everyday reality, rocked by the sounding
Stormy seas here I’ve lain anchor, as the swift currents
Undertow heaved at my chains of living cutting at them,
Biting at them, until the metal broke apart, leaving me here
Stranded, naked and afraid!
Hail winds torrent clouds tare at my towering sails, breaching
The structure of my humble world of complacency, until nothing
Remained solvable, but a small piece of mine own dignities
Silvery pine beam, at the break waters merciful edge of
Existence I’m so dashed against the rocks of mine own
Oblivion!
In these dangerous waters treading I swim without
Life preserves protection, amongst me others are
Screaming, drowning beneath the crushing waves
Thrashing, I reach outwardly for these lost souls,
Yet they seamlessly slip away, on the tidal rips
 Slanted curve!
Awakening from this living portrayed of a nightmare,
I cling to the dream of an off shore utopia, yet in
Poverty’s deficiency’s my iron clad shackles remain
As retrains locking bars, and left in tarots armaments
I know this is my only lot in life to bare alone!
A beach comber of yesterday’s remembrance, I drift,
Watching through my badly damage telescope,
Waving in retrospect motion, hoping for rescues
Leveling hand of salvation!
What misbegotten soul am I, to be lost upon isolation’s paradise,
Marooned on desolation’s tropical island of plenty, except for
Human championship, humanities driftwood a captured cast
Away, from civilization’s socialization, thus I’m alone survivor
Of life’s shipwreck!

A Farmer's Eyes and a Sailor's Shadow

A thorough yield
On a farm field of far east
It took me time to realize
How far I am to my far east of coast

Call of my weather
Call of my winds
I sailed further and farther
To my naked coasts
Naive songs, Nimble rains
Nile of rivers, Nascent clouds

Reaching this far
I kissed my earth
Ground of my grief
Glory of my ghosts
Glad is those leaves
However scanty they are

Cast is my shadows
No longer they hide
My colors and my figures
They cast numbers on stars
Measure their light
Scope my winters
Scale my summers
Scanty my rains
Scuttle I wish my springs

Now let me see my greens
Their leveling heights
Their leafy gaze
Their spiderly gesture
Their primordial texture
Now let me be slow
In company of my greens

A Modest Proposal

A Modest Proposal
By Roy Merritt

Doctor Swift wrote it anonymously
His delicate modest proposal
His idea to save the poor Irish
Was to make their children disposal

He was lampooning Petty and Bacon
Quite popular upon that year
Their notions of how society be taken
And socially engineered

He wrote of the poor Irish
How they going to waste
And how a child of just one year
Might appeal to one’s taste

They could be roasted, stewed,
Or boiled long in a pot you see
To be sliced into ragout
And made delicious as fricassee

So let no man talk of expedients
Of taxes on landlords absentee
Let no man talk of new taxes
Or leveling them at me

No clothing do they need
Or furniture to sit astride
Not one penny for luxury
Or vain human pride

It would cure much idleness
Keep women safe and pure
Parsimony and patriotism
The only way to endure

Prudence and temperance
And love of one’s native sand
Was how they should differ
From the Laps in Lapland

And thus the small children
Could prove a fine subject
Not be bemoaned as a burden
But a benefit to the public

You might would put on weight
If the child is particularly sweet
And I don’t doubt be easy to chew
So tender would be their meat

I don’t doubt either as times
get worse in this nation
That some bloody right wing fool
Bring Swift into the conversation

Instead of depending on food stamps
When little food you got
Just reach over into that crib
And throw the kid into the pot
Just reach over into that crib
And throw your kid into the pot

Above all the conceptions upon gleaming constellations, among the Seven Seas,

Twinkle
She’s supernal, the Sapphire Star of El
She’s empyreal, the fire pulsar shell
She’s ambrosial, the choir admire bell
Twinkle

Thinking I am moving forward by benching these 100-pound dumbbells
Hell
Attacked by a crocodile
Leveling within dungeons trying to excel

Wish I had the ability to cast the enchanted spell of levitate
To always be there for every time you fell to assist as in a helpmate
In the lullabies of wintertime, the crime is asking too late for a date
Tithed, I'm applying my last dime, inquiring the Sublime Mother of the fate

Magnificent bliss with the gentle touch of a kiss
A cosmos flower for the morrow for the princess
As a part of yesteryear kindness to reminisce
In awe of the Zenith Seven Sea’s Sapphire Empress

Beseeching thy grace for the tears lost by the abandonment goodbyes
Forgiveness please for the lack of achieve and position of naïve
Sincere apologies for the instantaneous unanswered whys?

Praying for the afternoon to burn all the shadows of disbelieve
The yawn hours fade away, time’s dusty hands are gone
The sunrays are overhead, no more to be dawn

Since the awakening morning, time apart
Is now the recollection of an anguished heart
Yearning for the inception of spring to start
The creations pilgrimage of the lover’s art

Performing her ballet along the shoreline, her impressions engrave
Cheerfully singing, gleefully giggling, while journeying on the sapphire trails
With a dazzling shine, she’s been waiting for so long on the sands extending her hands
Gazing upon the millions of butterflies refracting heavenly pastels
Beholding this imagery of the daughter of Divine as the ocean’s wave

Musically echoing and chimes of the sea
Touch by the hand of Aphrodite
Her surpassing grandeur, greater than the pristine Nefertiti
She is the most pulchritudinous nymph of the Almighty

Smile
She's eternal, a beaming demoiselle
She's beautiful, dancing in pimpernels
She's celestial, a blessing in the dell
Smile

Within the shimmering sky, the Scintillate Sapphire Star is the perfect gem of resonating beauty

Find Yourself.

Break and wind
the ribbons through your velvet hair
leveling the light
from moonless shadowed smiles

For all tonight will
know you for your voice
and call you for your
wisdom broken bare

while dignifying moons to velvet miles

Stare the stars
until they mirror metal eyes
dance about in tears
from oblique circumstances

For all tonight will
find you in their heart
and know you for the way
you simply care

it's this which even stars above entrances.

Nephalim Oracle

A cosmic clash of epic force
Split Tiamet like brittle thread
Nibiru hugged its distant course
Propelling moons to gnaw and shred

Kingu marveled at what was formed
Asteroids shed from that vast orb
The watery giant was transformed
Leveling as third to absorb

Many long elliptic passes
Tugged Nibiru over ages
Until those once noble gasses
Failed to impede starlight rages

Over this time the shard revolved
Taking shape as the oceans churned
The sun ensured the rock evolved
Microbes cracked until life returned

Expelled from the Nibiru throne
Alalu jumped to explore Earth
While he ventured the slice alone
He found metal of precious worth

At last the solution was found
To save them from the harsh daylight
Fragments of gold if spread around
Would shelter Nibiru’s grave plight

The new king Anu sent his son
To work his wisdom to flourish
Igigi ships loped as they spun
While miners jabbed deep to nourish

The Anunnaki soon rebelled
Their fate of hellish work and toil
A plan was hatched to force them quelled
New primitives should pull the coil

Enki tripped the genetic gun
Splicing the double helix code
Our ancient line had just begun
Demanding that we haul their load

At last the life goddesses tired
Of the chore of birthing the clones
Genetic changes were required
To allow our own labor moans

The Igigi succumbed to lust
Swooping down to mate with the slaves
Enlil pondered their breach of trust
This threat shall be deluged by waves

Graciously Enki warned one man
To gather the seeds of all life
Nibiru yanked our fragile span
Tossing the seas with driving strife

Once the flood waters receded
Kingship descended from the stars
Eager gods learned we were needed
Sinai rebuilt upon the scars

Marduk groaned with greedy power
Seeking to build a rival port
Enlil grasped this Babel tower
Condemning them in holy court

The gate of god was crushed outright
Striking our enlightenment down
Forcing Marduk to flee from sight
Till he seized his Egyptian crown

Sinai hungered the jealous god
With hopes to steal the path to space
So they launched a fatal petard
Baalbek wiped out without a trace

At last the minions awaken
To crush the repression they face
Amen-Ra remains unshaken
Even by our haste to erase

The Railway

Vertically they have gone to see the horizon
dividing into two parallel paths of iron and stone
nor to return or to encounter
sometimes, only crease cross
to pass trains and trams with passengers and goods
ever absurd they are;

On both the sides
modern civilization exists
mills, factories, industries, markets and localities are
in high rising skyscrapers, fashionable, colorful buildings
lines after lines vertically, horizontally
and underwardly growers they are;

Here and there wide and long hollow down bridges
over ponds, lakes, channels, rivers even seas
where ply boats, launches all the times,
sometimes through long tunnel
goes through hills, desert and channel
challenging explorers they are;

I have walked for long and long, faced long quarry
only iron and stone all through the journey
no pearls, diamond or ivory,
i have heard fierce, painful crying
but seen no tiger or lion roaring
absurd history makers they are;

I have seen cutting, burning, clearing forests
filling lakes, dishes, rivers,
leveling hills, killing wilds
for paving the paths of iron and stone,
for ever growing silver civilization
innumerable stations setters they are.

You Will

He was there for a moment, then gone,
Lost in a dark mist of my doubts

And my strange guardian appeared before me,
His tie blood red,
His stance taller than usual,
His long arms softly to his sides

I drew near,
My face tear stained and pained
He stared forward motionlessly

I asked him,
“Why do I keep dreaming about him?”

He stood there still,
And quietly replied,

We haunt those that we think of the most

Dumbfounded, I knew his thoughts,
But could not confront those feelings
I asked him,
“But why? Why is it so torturous?”

 Your mind tortures you,
Because you allow it to torture you. . .

He set his hand on my shoulder,
And I suddenly felt sleepy
I tried to fight it,
But I found myself in his arms
Willingly

I awoke in a shelter of trees,
And he was there, watching me
Sitting up, I stared at his presence in wonder
He moved towards me slowly,
As if approaching a wounded animal

His face became clearer,
And my heart began to race
“Is this real?” I asked weakly.
“Are you real? Or is this fantasy?”

A forgiving smile appeared on his blurry features,
As he lifted me up and set me on a gnarly branch
He only stared at me,
As if he was waiting for a miracle

“Maybe it’s best that I don’t know.”
He nodded slowly, then embraced me

I cried a lot. . .
It was as if I was hugging the last of everything
The last of him,
And the last of what we had. . .
Holding me still,
I was quieted by his touch,
His head lifting, leveling to mine

And he said again, darkly,
We haunt those that we think of the most. . .

I panicked in his arms as he smiled at me
“I may never see him again.”

His smile faded as he said,
You will.

Words They Fight a War

Some words are rocks and knives
Stabbing, cutting leveling in sound
Thoughtless words are weapons
Wielded without thought
Waved around like flags
In a war unseen but fought
Victims gasping all around
In unbelief they’re stricken down
Power pulses feed the engine
Spoken they are cast
Like a feather in the wind
They’re gone in future and in past
We cannot make them good again
Or gather them to burn
But hope lies in the light to win
To win the war we fight again
And overcome by light the dark
By speaking what is good the more
It’s only then we win the war

He Has No Clear Professional Jealousy

Bruce Wayne is not alone in hating Superman. The United States government is none too pleased with the last son of Krypton leveling large parts of a major city. Lex Luthor, a wealthy businessman and scientist, also hates Superman. Now, you probably couldn’t quite figure out why Lex Luthor hated Superman so much. Unlike Batman, he has no clear professional jealousy. In fact, in a brief aside, Luthor mentions the construction projects his company undertook after Superman wrecked Metropolis. If he had just kept his mouth shut and let Superman topple a few more buildings, he could have kept raking in the government contracts for decades to come. Instead, he spends most of the movie trying to get Batman and Superman to fight, then creates a monster in a pool of brown toilet water for no reason. I thought this guy was some kinda genius? It doesn’t make sense at first, but upon second viewing, it’s clear that Lex Luthor is actually a malfunctioning android and his moronic behavior is due to his circuits being fried. Every bizarre character choice can be chalked up to what I like to call the “Android Defense”. Something happened in Batman v Superman that doesn’t make any sense? It was probably done by a secretly malfunctioning robot
