Nestled
in her old chair-
world outside her window
and indoor plants, a sign of life-
she knits.
Fingers
work their magic-
grant her moments purpose;
then reminiscing years gone by-
tears flow.
You and I are crinkles in the page of time.
You and I are twinkles that blink in rhyme.
You and I live in the tiniest pores of history.
You and I give canniest clues to its mystery.
You and I perceive ages, in lifetime so brief.
You and I leave ashes, incinerated in grief.
You and I are horizon for sun to rise and set.
You and I are heaven, where stars first met.
You and I are the glow on the face of moon.
You and I are flow of space in sky's lagoon.
You and I reside in a ripple, dying on a river.
You and I hide in a bubble, sighing in quiver.
You and I are whispers of a blushing breeze.
You and I are glimmers of dew adoring trees.
You and I are nagging no, yearn yielding yes.
You and I are sagging snow, sculpting stress.
You and I are one yet alone in every moment.
You and I are none, but known in any instant.
You and I are links in loops of destiny's dots.
You and I are kinks of karma's knitted knots.
With solitary voice I speak your name into the void,
I know that you're not hearing me with ears that be employed,
But I believe two hearts can speak from distances afar,
And hear each other when they do, no matter where they are
My grandma knitted me a sweater, and I said “Goody! Good!”
I am a full-loved puppy who brings whatever love she should.
Grandma LaGooks was thrilled when I wore it proudly all day long.
At the end of the day, she and I wrote a puppy dog song.
We sang it for the family, they were amazed, I am sure.
My howling is phenomenal, and grandma’s voice is so pure.
I will love this sweater until the rest of my life, I know.
And it keeps me cozy and warm outside in the frosty snow.
In a little country village
in a cottage near a farm,
was a curious little kitten
that was knitted out of yarn.
In a rainbow’s worth of colours
from its tail of strawberry red,
to the blue and yellow ears
which sat alert atop its head.
Created by a gentleman
who’d lived a long fine life,
and had taken up the hobby
to impress his darling wife.
It had whiskers long and dangly
its eyes were round and small,
from the top down to the bottom
it was all of four inch tall.
And in the country cottage
where the three of them reside,
there are lots of clever places
for a yarn kitten to hide.
In the kettle, or the flowerpots;
under cushions on the chairs;
inside the ladies’ slippers
at the bottom of the stairs.
High atop the cupboards;
or low beneath the bed;
and once inside a bucket
in the little potting shed.
It’s a source of great amusement
in the little country home,
to discover all the places
that the yarn kitten might roam.
As the lady and the gentleman
take turns in their sweet game,
to find the little kitten
and then hide it once again.
KNITTED
Time can be twisted and my heart can's be knitted
Are you the angel from the sky that I visited
Our universe is changing to be benefited
Nothing can be pending, anything can be fitted

Were you made by tiny hands
or was it old weathered hands.
Were you hung in rememberance
of loved ones passed away.
Were you a token of lost love.
You flowered in the deepest winter
raised a smile on a dark day.
all praise The knitted Flower Tree.
Love tied to a tree for all to see
a place to return to when times are hard.
Somewhere wishes can be left
and falling tears will only help it grow
please tell me where the knitted flower tree grows.
in your heart my friend, your heart.
THE DAY I KNEW THREE WERE KNITTED INSIDE ME.
The day I knew Three were knitted in me
I felt the presence of life so strong
And knew with God nothing can go wrong.
Though I have tarried for so long
He gave me peace and let me be
I knew with God all things are possible.
Then I behold these tiny little ones...
How they showcase God’s blessings
Then I realized everygood gift is from above
It becomes a reality when your Faith is alive
Just only God, gives gift liberally.
beyond the scope of her understanding
she sounded and resounded
for all to know
her refusal to have him as hers
that she wished something
from someone else and could
neither calm the storms
or find refuge from the winds
then the rains came and she
stood alone
in doubt of need
she relied on happiness
to strengthen her despair
than might he come
than might he have me as his own
days of tommorrows
to make this time a lesson learned
warm knitted sky of many colors
flowing from the needles of the master
in bubbly rows of reds, pinks, azure and turquoise blue
a sacred sky predicting vibrancy and newness
