Kindles' and Tablets' and Bits' Oh My

What if color was but a tone and people called the world their home...?
Then life would be better than this, much better than this kindles', and tablets' and bits'.

What about giving and recieving gifts?
Throwing fits you are not going to get and do not you forget.

Stones break windows and lights signify night.
Sticks swing at people then hitch and then hike.

It is what it is but it may not be what it may.
Speak your free minds but beware of what it is you must say.

I need today every single last day.
When they're gone, we are far, far away.

Believe in yourself, stand up tall in your frame.
Reality bites so live life-like a likable game.

Secrets are whispers that pass among men.
Tell them wisely or keep them within.

Please say thank you whenever you say,
Something nice, doing a good deed everyday.

Money is the fine price we all must, we pay.
Buying happiness online at a high interest rate.

Inflation keeps rising and going up, up and away.
The cost of life is but a price check away from becoming your fate.

Today and tomorrow are equally great.
The end always begins with a brand new, a clean slate.

Wait in line for a really long time.
Buy a snack from that one guy floating a sign.

Wave these bygones be bye gone with the last hours, left behind song.
Buckle up for the bustle and get down with your hustle, just grind long.

Be your best, your very best, all through this day.
Only to believe today is being your day to be brave.

Asking everyone including us all, and you too,
What if color was but a tone and people called the world their home...?

Then life would be better than this, much better than this kindles', and tablets', and bits'.

Why Reading Kindles Brio

Aye admit, an author's adept
and adroit mastery
to link words together subtly crept
(expressing contents
in a matter of fact

understandable fashion, except
for dissertations and/or kept
jargon for exclusive specialty)
posits, that my wordy verbosity,
revelation, viz "EUREKA" suddenly leapt

administers cerebral, harmful
offal psychological usury
verdict I accept
fomenting gobbledygook concept
might create notion, yours truly inept,

plus incorporating confessional backswept
facets of writerly person,
as sigh nearly wept
(drafting previous poem,
sans book review

like an emotional bit torrent windswept
"And I Don't Want
to Live This Life" anchored in concept,
qua raw maternal did severely intercept
the motherly bond Deborah Spungen

felt toward zombified miskept
incorrigibly, horribly, grievously...
tormented first born
or momentenous insept
begetting impregnation and early labor
Nancy Laura Spungen since birth,

perhaps seeped when aye slept
into nooks and crannies of subconscious,
though one could breeze thru said book
such evocative anguish left
me numbly bereft, yet acutely aware
to vicariously experience devastating agony!

Etymological Fervor Kindles Logorrhoea

Hence no surprise... yes
recherché rhetorical flourish(es) impress,
yet mine deliberate vocabulist predilection,
I haint gonna stress
aforementioned quirk
also includes zero apr

(annual percentage rate),
may be subject with excess
sieve jejune ennui pullulating Kudzu like
indecipherable haphazard gobbledygook mess
abhorrent brashness claptrap discouraging
further harrowing progress
into thicket of verbiage, perhaps...

unwittingly encountering Loch Ness
cheesy Munster gussied up as...
transgender logophile, alias Hermann Hesse,
which obvious immediate
long winded atavistic feature will
allow, enable, and provide

dead giveaway clue to guess,
whether yours truly be
mouse or man (chess
champion) meandering along
stream of consciousness,
whereby succumbing to wordiness helpless

(fear not coronavirus,
nor other mortal affliction)
even if exuding fifty shades of gray pus,
the only bonafide surefire
holistic, iambic, therapeutic... recourse
I reluctantly, lamely, and feebly confess
to ameliorate slogging thru

metaphorical marsh cress,
(a veritable poetic nightmare)
volunteer self as unsuspecting to acquiesce
(lest no lifetime allowance
courtesy United States mint printing press),
whereat Impractical Jokers profess

gut wrenching, humiliating, insulting...
pranks, albeit dudes harmless
(think) only psychological state at risk else
suffer interminable, objectionable, unutterable...
mother (ƒµ©****) eternal duress
unbeknownst to thee multisyllabic

stranger vowel things in consonant
essentially Mattspeak trumpeting
as sesquipedalianism (the lesser of twee vols)
temporarily rendering, manifesting
sudden impulse to emulate... me,
and damaging basic cognitive process.

Premium Member light kindles light

night folds its endless hands—
shadows stretch & scatter
(aching)
for warmth
for a flicker.

a mother whispers prayers, her voice
a cradle—
soft syllables swaying
against the weight of exile’s wind.

one wick, then another—
then eight:
flames lean into each other,
(dizzy with hope)
(drunk with remembering).

oil scarce as breath,
yet its story unfolds:
a temple reclaimed
a heart unbroken.

the menorah blinks its quiet Morse code:
endure.
endure.
endure.

children spin tops—
letters clinking against the wood—
(miracles inscribed
in the simplest of things)
while fathers tell tales that climb
the walls like vines, rooting in
tomorrow.

each candle rises like a soldier—
small,
steadfast.

above, the stars watch,
silent witnesses to a people
who (always)
remember how to
make light.

Premium Member Haiku Kindles Love

Sun descends on dew
Green meadow wears jeweled crown
Sky writes a Haiku.

Fall maple trees blush
Leaves age in tranquility
Zen lights the nature.

In my musing mind
Plain words weave warm emotion
Haiku kindles love.

Love Kindles

Love is dying, not dying in nature
Dying in minds of living beings
Love is suffocating every moment
Minds are helpless in their trying.

Love does not want to pass away
Not now or later in the future
Love wants to linger unendingly
That is the only aspiration so far.

Love has no past, only present
This second is its best moment
Love intends to play love games
Irrespective of existing sentiment.

Love kindles as well as inflames
No matter how the surrounding is!
Love does not seek provocation
Never let opportunities to miss.

Love despises all false notions
Does not ponder ever on beauty
Love is unique, non-comparable
Certainly does not like cruelty.

Love yearns for access to warmth
Wishes to raise the heat in the tub
Love mixes up no word in love
Knows only love and more love.
