Best Irreplaceable Poems

Irreplaceable

This is my humble dedication to our fellow poet Krish Radhakrishna, who recently mourns the loss of his dear mother. I came to know about this after reading his blog. My sincere prayers for his mother's soul to rest in peace and my heartfelt condolences to the whole family.

She yearns to catch the first glimpse of you,
The day you are out from her tender womb,
Her priceless pearl that gleams with hopes new,
As she holds you close, tears of joy overflows.

Her heart skips a beat everytime you stumble,
As you take your first toddling steps to walk;
She forgets her hunger without a grumble,
As she patiently feeds you for hours.

She has been your eyes until you had
Your own perspective;
She has been your wings until you gave
The first flutter to reach new destinations,
To give wings to your cherished dreams.

Nothing in this world can replace a mother's love,
Her pure soul now safe in Heavenly abode.
With her sincere devout prayers from above,
She will guide you forever like a beacon from sky.

This is my family, oddities and all.
Cam wants to see the world yet currently
lives a stones throw away from Mother's call.
While bubbly Michelle wears rainbow attire
as if to challenge her smile openly
shared. My siblings sometimes ice, sometimes fire,
but they are apart of me, through and through.
Justin smokes like a chimney, drinks like a
sailor (and cooler than a glacier, too!).
Mom and Dad don't have a thing in common,
but thirty-four years states they're a-okay.
This is my family, oddities and all,
but they are apart of me through and through.

I'M Irreplaceable

I slip my headphones on, and I begin dreaming,
my desk is my alter, and the Heavens is what I'm seeing.
My pen is the bridge, and this paper is the gate,
writer's block is the pad lock, the only thing in the way.

I click open my pen, and begin to release from within,
my blood runs as deep the ink, and washes away my sins.
My thoughts are the cross, and my burdens act like a wreath.
Razor sharp thorns cut me, as I'm trying to catch my breath.

My enemies are the whips, hitting me in the back,
tying me down with chains, just to get a little laugh.
My lyrics are my message, what got me here in the first place.
My mind is my shovel, digging the hole to bury my scarred face.

Then the beat stops, and I wake up from my trance,
I hit replay and try again, I only got one chance.
I'm giving it my all, but at least I'll always know one thing,
I'm Irreplaceable.

The track starts again, and I slip back into my sleep.
My pen is my gun and the paper is my enemies.
Writers block is my holding cell, and the key is my mind,
my mind is the problem, because it locks itself up all the time.

The beat is my pulse, slowing down before it drops,
then picking up the pace, while adrenaline does it's job.
My words are the bullets, penetrating your skin,
your body is still intact, but you're shattered within.

The lead is the streets, giving me countless ways to go,
the eraser gives me the ability, to never leave my home.
Every word is a stray bullet, it'll connect it won't.
My enemies are my targets, I either hit 'em or I don't.

But I'll keep shooting, until this lead goes dull,
I'm giving it my all, but at least I'll always know one thing,
I'm Irreplaceable.

Irreplaceable

The breath of fall, a gauzy mist exhaled,
Ascending, burthens seas of dappled gray,
From whence the weeping heart of life unveiled,
Bejewels woods in glistening display;

And there amidst the gilded alder leaves,
The hanging mossy shawls so richly green,
My soul is threaded with the verdant weaves,
Envisioning the epoch Miocene;

Then up ahead, I see my venture's end;
Across a road exists another time;
And once again, I say so long my friend;
Then sadly leave her fragile world behind.

The rip of chainsaws marks another load,
As ancient dead are carried down the road.

'i' Remain 'I' - Irreplaceable

'I' remain 'I' - irreplaceable!

Search for 'the one irreplaceable' begins - 'O' my friend,
with me, as, I'm the only one to infer from signs portend!

Most potent of all searches I found, and the most fecund,
'promises' by Forefathers for eternity, on which I depend!

One's 'Satiation', a yardstick for me in this sprawled barn;
setting out looking for, in its widespread colourful lawn!

Every field I sought - a physical evaluation comparing it;
one to one - measuring, intellect, prowess, money or grit!

On going process, working for or against one or the other,
in no time, these our acts - start to suffocate and smother!

Seizing up with a competitive spirit, is the garb often said;
in reality, it's sizing one's ego, which, we ever should dread!

Always on the look-out for the next one in, to out-perform,
in doing so, anxious - we just lose all our poise and calm!

When and where does this meet an end or a way to mend?
failed in contentment, we ever fail at the 'dead road's end'!

Fleeting moment, 'Oh' my friend - you are thy own master;
spare a few moments for thy own self in your daily roster!

'Mind' - a wanderer, props-up something that's always new;
it goes back and forth on its memories that are quite a few!

Materialistic lure here and elsewhere - never forever satiate;
we land in a quagmire, doing or saying things to ingratiate!

Realise, everything around us, is in a continuous state of flux,
the 'ever constant' factor in this search, the key and the crux!

Journey to make is within, to home-in, on the unchangeable,
that is how to reach the 'I' - the One and Only 'irreplaceable'!

Premium Member Irreplaceable Smile

I got one unique smile;
Noticeable even from a mile.
Behold me with your eyes
sure, blood bathes my face

Don't mistake my closeness
nor ever encase me in sweetness.
I am no enchantress
as this my widest grin...

Smiling in joys and pains
as though nothing in vain.
Love, hope and faith I retain.
Indeed, keeping me sane.

'irreplaceable'

Irreplaceable!

This world that I know of, is, - 'the family's' living room,
visitors, weaving fabrics of many designs in this loom!
Generations searched, yet - still unaware 'where from'!
But, established a relationship and a working decorum!

Every equation made in, been reproduced or morphed,
every working dimension thence, replaced or swapped!
All of it is just titular, that has to move-on and change,
from moment to moment in time, but, that ain't strange!

Environment rolls-on, all over playing perfunctory a role,
inducing circumstances, staving us - off from our goal!
Mind incessantly vying, measure-up for one's relevance,
forming opinions, judgements, ever claiming prominence!

Change is constant, in all animate and inanimate forms,
transforming all and sundry, the most basic of all norms!
Nothing and no one can ever be exempted from this code,
delve deep-in to realise - its a commonly travelled road!

Seers looked around for and searched, in ways accessible,
looking for something or that someone, ever, 'irreplaceable'!
Gleaned, it is not about the world that's 'visible and invisible'!
but, the noumenal presence to look for, almost untraceable!

Raise questions obversely beyond, about time and space,
transcending our temporal, the mind and intellect's chase!
Thinking, not on 'the thought' or about 'the physical thinker',
transfix thyself on 'urge', the one that prompts 'the thinker'!

Going past layers after layers with a single minded focus,
you will stumble upon 'I' - 'the Self' amidst all as one locus!
In a trance, enthralled in an all encompassing bliss 'n' joy,
discover 'That' - 'the Irreplaceable', an epicentre of all ploy!

Irreplaceable

Your voice, your smile
Your music, your moves
Your hopes, your dreams
Your life, your style.

 Everything about you capture me.
You give inspiration to generations beyond.
 You became legendary,
Though throughout your life it was hard.
You worked with everything you had in you.
You were the star of your generation.

Many people tried to bring you down.
 They criticized you, spread rumors.
 Almost broke you,
But you still rise above them all.

 People today still love you,
And they all wish they can see you.
We know today, just as back then,
 That you were irreplaceable.

I didn't know you, but I love you.
I didn't see you, but you're still a part of me.
I can't be with you, but you stole my heart.

Know that everything I know is what I've read,
 watched, and listened.
Never will have a chance to see.
Never will have a chance to live through,
 But you'll still have me.

(written for all the legends of the by gone years, especially the 40s, 50s and 60s)

An Irreplaceable Moment Like This

Those were the best five seconds I have ever felt,
Hearing those words "You are going to be aunt" made my heart melt.
I am so happy for my sister, she is going to be an amazing mom,
Her warm heart is going to keep you, baby, calm.

I already love you little baby more than anything in this world,
Knowing that I am going to be an aunt, makes my life crystaled and pearled.
You give me something to live for, something to look forward to,
The feelings I have for you are o so true.

Just thinking about you puts a smile on my face,
you are more than a gift from God, you are a little piece of grace.
I am counting down the days, till I meet my beautiful nephew or niece,
where I get to see you, a little slice of heaven, in a mini piece.

I can't wait to teach you how to read, and ride a bike,
and to teach you that the greatest things in life are more than a hike.
I long for the day when I get to hear your heart beat,
and to see you and tickle your little feet.

A mother and a father who are going to love you the most,
and to be sure to comfort you and are going to be the ones to boast.
Nine months till I meet you seems a lifetime away,
but I hope you always know that i will love you forever, and be here to stay.

Irreplaceable You

oh to wish for a friend as true as you
one to laugh or cry with who holds value
who knows the answers to questions i seek
that will carry me when i am too weak

one who trusts my shoulder to bear their pain
when life surrounds them in a pelting rain
one who knows i will catch them if they fall
and build them back up if they should feel small

one who would call me regardless the time
and never doubt that it's for a lifetime
this friendship would never be a contest
among others to fight to be the best

one like you who will remain in my heart
when death comes calling to tear us apart

The Irreplaceable

Life of ups and down
Some going others coming
Some trading others buying
Some hating others loving
Survival of the fittest,
All for a life

Happy at home with the circle
But series of nags all day long
Respect lost in the circle
All for lack of supplies
But finally, there came a task
Now away from the circle

Acquired a lot but no space
Lot of wealth but no peace
The circle is okay but no see
Tired of the task for no rest
Now a stranger in the circle

Warmly welcomed at work
But they missed him at the circle
The best at work
But enemy in the circle
The task is now a tie

Home once and the circle is happy
The joy of feminine finally arose
For the night would be hers
But duty calls and off he goes

But the light didn't last long
Finally, it slumps and went off
What a blackout to the circle
But there came another best
The irreplaceable became replaced.

Premium Member Nothing's Irreplaceable

They said the car would never replace the horse
They were dead wrong, of course

The plane would never replace the boat
That one still sticks in their throats

TV couldn't possibly replace radio
   Ha, ha! Totally incorrectimundo!

Email would never replace the love letter
Point of fact: It works much better

Texting and tweeting can't compete with email
   P-l-e-a-s-e! Can a hare outrun a snail?

Whatever comes along next, the naysayers will get it wrong
Might as well just go ahead, and give 'em the 'old gong!'

Irreplaceable Love

I grip onto your hand and plead with you to stay
Always knowing that this would happen one day
You snatch your hand from me and storm out of the door
Leaving me sitting in a broken heap on the floor
Painful, hot tears stream out of my eyes
As our Happily Ever After slowly fades and dies
You took everything with you when you left me all alone
Hurting you is a sin from which I never can atone
So you leaving now is the price I have to pay
My mind racing as I think of what to say
As your love is something I can never replace

Irreplaceable

Irreplaceable
Success is written all over me
My progressive attitude makes it obvious
Am not trying to say am perfect
Yet honestly I give
Gratitude to life I won't go down so bad
How can you wish for a better one
I have been coming stronger on my ways
And this is more than a testimony
I know alot of you on the street wish to be me
Despite you don't remember my long nights
I have been outstanding from the start
My foot print are bitter for a bad heart
Cos what they see in my life is not
what they wish I become
I remain tougher and go up higher
My water never dry cos my pump over flows
So they can't replace my value
Cos I speak fire and my words burns
With the flames of spirituality
This they disregard
Cos they can't comprehend
How come I grow so deep in life
No wonder I remain
Irreplaceable

Irreplaceable
Honestly I don't care who you are but
Respect my name on your dirty lips
Don't cast me out like am nothing
Cos you can never be me
Either do I intend to be on your shoes
I keep chasing my needs
Disregarding all forms of stoppages
I can't be moved by mere egoistic personalities
Am wiser than the devil
So don't take my actions for granted
Cos am a moving force
My Intensions are guided by a full focus
So be sure to always hear the songs
Of my soul always with a message
I remember I told you all to be humble
The time to be who we are is now oh africans
Oh brother oh sister
Despite I can't be understood by cowards
Yet In this game of survival
Even my enemies knows I remain
Irreplaceable

Dedicated to many men
