Thunder Interruption

Wall shaking thunder separates me from sleep like the dawn
My dreams weave the ruckus in sensory plots and float me away
I wake with fantastic tales as the grass grows three shades greener...

Interruption of Solitude

INTERRUPTION OF SOLITUDE

                                Cloud caressed rock face
Cycles of ice hide from wicked wind-- cling
                                Without your consent

                                Interlopers
                                Uninvited frigid fingers
                                Disturbing peace

Interruption

Death has come
Falling softly like snowflakes
On flowerbeds
The winds blows the dead sheet of leaves
Every time I see greatness rising from the earth
Like a new pea growing
The locust comes like a flash of lightning
Will nothing endure our birth
These are days so trivial
Nothing is sustained beyond the flesh of pleasure
And all we contewmplate
Are so superficial, so personal
Too insular
For the escape we seek
Where the highest peak is bleak
Will poets see deep things again
Will they make far things near
And palpable on the tongue
O I long to suck the delicacy of a song
That drip with the light of melting stars
And put my lips on the passion of the sun
Who writes like that again
We have neither an Eliot, nor a McKay
Neither a Blake nor a Keats
This is a civilization in decay
Great truths now our superficiality deletes
We cannot see them
And all the noise is silence still
I see choice like a shadow
Just a rag of suspended will
I want to hear a poet groan giving birth
O push, push, push, please push
Away this dead effect of words
And let us make our lives universal
Having a Wordsworthian argument again.
O let us,
That I may read Donne
Without epilepsy,
And seduce a new pain.

Interruption of Tranquility

Snowflake drifts, curling
Drafts, like angry words, cut
Blinding white dazzles bright.

Premium Member Interruption Frustration

Someone will ask me a question
or bring me into their conversation
asking for my opinion.
Usually I'm met with the same frustration.
I can't get one sentence out without an interruption.
That's when my role in the discussion comes to an end.
Don't drag me into your conversation
if my reply is going to be met with your constant interruptions.
because you're not really interested in what I have to say.
You just want to hear yourself talk all of the way.
Once you interrupt me, the conversation ends
because you're being rude, ill mannered and a major frustration
and you apparently don't possess any self discipline.
We can discuss this another time if you like my friend,
but the conversation will be over after your first and only interruption.

Premium Member What Lovely Interruption

My admiration grows
with every conversation,
with every new occasion
that's given me to glimpse your radiant face.

I'm stricken by your grace.
Serenity's your essence;
I weaken in your presence.
And nothing is enough compared with you.

I'm driven to pursue
this sweet increasing pleasure.
Not unobserved, full measure
of beauty reigns within your warm brown eyes.

You took me by surprise.
Your youthful, peerless spirit
impels me to be near it!
What lovely interruption when you came.

Now life is not the same.
May my every yesterday
spent with you, Dear, ricochet
into our bright tomorrows' afterglows.

"You really shouldn't park your white horses next to my Subaru."
"Rain? Rain? Are you listening?"
She picked her sleepy head off the teller's desk,
Her hair cascading over her cheeks.
"I was somewhere far away," she spoke from the bardo.
"I don't know. I don't know. And yet I know all I need to know."
"Move your horses. Take a lunch break. Get a grip,"
Said the lady who smelled like cake and wore pineapple earrings.

"Why do you eat so much cake in the morning?"
Rain belted across the bank lobby.
"Can you even hear the rain outside, through all that icing inside?"

Her face flushed crimson between her dangling pineapples.
"Like I said," Rain continued, "I was far away, in a lost village,
Speaking to the descendants of my horses, Salient and Wonder.
"Can you hear me, pineapple lady? Can you hear this Rain?"

"Grab your horses and get out of here," the lady who adored cake shouted.
Rain lifted herself off her seat like a rising moon, and glided over the marble floor
Like the angel ghost of finance, mesmerized and mesmerizing.
Passing by she whispered to the tiny pineapple that clung the the fleshy ear,
"I was never in here. I am quite far from here."

With that Rain went outside
and walked her horses to the
meadow behind the parking lot
to reconvene with lost villages
Without interruption.

Interruption

Antisocial you think
Because I will not waste good ink
To display my mind
To hearts still blind
What we do here is build a hereafter
Shall I add my name to the laughter
Of tomorrow?
I can do better with the cause of sorrow.
I must live for more than me and now
I have set my eyes beyond clouds
And see the stars with teeming plough
Muted too above our pimpled crowds.

Fragments of Unwanted Interruption

Drops of dew that melt into the sea
are hard to see.
They float, they sink or evaporate,
they die.
Where is the tree that promised
these dewdrops a life?
He sank into the earth.
Disappearences, laughter, confusion,
creeping like a spider with ten thousand legs,
each leg penetrating your skin
with its pin-drop sadness.
Your soul is vapor.
It absorbs into your bloodstream
and is no longer perceivable.
Fragments of unwanted interruption,
they stir your deepest emotion,
making them undesirable.
Where is the ground?
It is in the air you breathe.

Premium Member The Lift

When you travel with a lift
Just press
And you're up or down in minutes
Flied through a world of illusions
But sometimes the lift will stop suddenly
With electricity interruption
Leaving you nervous and helpless
And landed back to the world of realities

Beautiful Interruption

You have come so quickly,

Where do I begin to

Warmly welcome you?

You are unexpected,

My beautiful interruption.

How do I come to reasons?

Skeptic of your coarse, your purpose,

I only arrive to disillusions and discord.

Should I be shocked? As if nothing led

up to the fateful present....

Well, I could

For the sum of all these

Are not so easily understood.

The long waited meltdown has begun

A mountain of pride

begins to collide

Certainty is no more, I have left it in mercy's hands

The bitter acceptance still has not settled in

For you force your way to stay

And I, I have nothing else to do

I have no choice, but to only leave my life up to a hopeful chance.

I came downstairs on Chritmas eve
To find Krampus and Santa having an arm wrestling match
I politely asked them to leave
In which they ran off with the cookie's batch

Premium Member Unwelcome Disturbance

A loud noise jars my senses
Rips me away from creative thoughts
And steals my inner serenity.
Is it a passing truck back-firing?
Or a teenagers glass-pack shouting
"Notice me, you fool,
I am
Macho man!"

Premium Member Interruption RESTORATION Halleluiah Selah Constitution AMEN

I walk into the darkness,
my Father holds my hand
Naked in Him barefooted
I see with my spiritual eye, dimension spirit realm
I hear with my ears, heavenly things
I touch with my soul, abundantly beings
Angels sing I can hear them calling
I walk not afraid, I am with my heavenly host
I walk not with a stranger, but with Jesus Christ
Elohim gives direction, pause, accentuation,
and even interruption
