The School of Life

As you walk through the corridors of life, its highways and by-lanes, the
back-alleys and well-beaten trails, through lush jungles or the arid scorching wilderness you pickup tidbits or sometimes gems of wisdom at the unlikely places, from the unlikely people, sometimes very much alive and present, sometimes from long dead and forgotten.

you learn from parents
and more so from peers and seers,
life teaches better.

One thing I learned from Jesus Christ is that you have to carry your own cross knowing full well that you may be crucified on this very cross – sometimes you have no choice, sometimes you have to do it for the good of the people.

Prophet Muhammad taught me that when a revelation dawns on you, embrace it zealously. If you have enough people believing in your perception, you have begun a new creed.

Moses taught me that you don’t have to tread the well-trodden path. You can cut across the wilderness and still reach the Promised Land.

Buddha taught me that a state of enlightenment can only be attained by renouncing physical and material yearnings.

Mahatma Gandhi made me see the futility of war and aggression. You can bring down a mighty empire just be a wooden staff in your hand and wearing nothing but a loin cloth.

Mother Teresa made me realize that you can live your life unselfishly, working and caring for others and still make your life a success and fulfilling.

not of the heavens
nor of any astral plane,
faith is of the heart.

Nowhere is taught the skills to live a life. You are not born with an instruction manual. No one can fix it for you if you screw it up. And you cannot return it and get an instore credit. You cannot put it on lay-away. You cannot exchange it for another if you don’t like the one you got. You just got to make it work good for you by yourself.

But these bits of wisdom comes much later—at the tether’s end of one’s life,
when we have already put too many miles on and the seats are all worn-out and the dashboard all faded and dusty. When the brakes start screeching and squealing. When the engine starts making funny noises and the radiator begins to leak…

a life-long process
salvation lies in one's self…
seek none but thyself.

A Sacrific

I had to remove myself so that you can learn...
What God has instore for you lessons to be learned.

Somethings are unexplainable so we have to obey...
The spirit that lives inside of us, that is the Lord's way...

His way of guiding and showing us to long lasting life...
To bless others and show them what is wrong from right.

As hard as it was I had to let you go for you to see...
What all God has instore for His people, you and me.

The future is unknown, promises cannot be made...
Just trust in his word faithfully and obey.

For the Lord God Almighty is always in control...
We must stay on course with full mind body and soul.

There is no need to fear when you let Him have His way...
Our Father in heaven would not let His child go astray.

So as hard as this thing called life may be...
A sacrific had to be made between you and me.

Put your faith in God and know that this is not for nothing...
If anything remember that God is up to something.

Hold on tight and don't let go,your reward is on its way...
For He has seen the progress you made so faithful you must stay.

Sweet Johnny Angel

Sweet Johnny Angel
Come sweep me off my feet
Fly by... me Darling
For you are ever so sweet

You Set my heart aglow
You have ways
You not even know
Treasures beyond show...

When your Treasures appear
Sweetness ever so dear
As you Fly...
Stay a while... Smile

You have a way
To bring sunshine
Wipe my tears away
Within my heart you stay

Sweeet Johnny Angel
I hope you not mind
For I feel in my heart
To tell you...
;)

As some days seem so dark
You always Light a spark
Bring out the light
Make me realize

Life is worth living..
For Your Tender heart
Always giving...
Sweeetness of Love

Tis an Great Honor
God has bestowed
For to allow me to know
YOU... Sweet Honeycomb heart

As we know
God beholds
All what's Instore
Giving always to Our Lord

Tis Love is always
Shall remain
Within my heart

One Shot, Two Shots, Three Shots, Four

One shot
Two shots
Three Shots
Four...
Bang, bang, bang, Fireworks galore
People running shouting ''WAR!!''
Innocent dying its, uncalled for
Families crying for their loved ones no longer more ...
Babies crying dont know, what for
Not knowing what's next instore
People walking with fear out the door
AND HERE I AM wanting TO shout!!!
''NO MORE!!!!...''
There's much more greater things instore
Than violence for sure,
Think of the kids for they are our future ...
Is this the kind of life you want for your child when he/she grows up
I don't think so... (O_o)
But I guess that's how it goes
When you live in a society where gangsters comes and goes...

Never Give Up On Your Dreams

Never give up on your dreams

Never give up, on your hopes and dreams,
it doesnt matter how bad life seems.
There is always something worth fighting for,
dont give up because you can always take more.
I know sometimes you may feel,
like you cant possibly deal,
with what life has instore,
but theres always something to live for.
never loose hope,
and dont just mope,
around hanging your head.
Just ignore all the irritating things being said.
Dont let anyone get you down,
and dont go walking around wearing a frown.
as long as you have faith and love
there isnt anything that life may shove
your way will be able to get you down.

A Little Blue Dress

An evening on the shore
Where two people were made one
But became something more
The night of fun had begun
But there was more instore
A little blue dress had won
her smile had left mine floored
A sweet laugh that tied my tounge
Eyes that let my mind soar but
Before I could take a breath,
 my heart had plunged
deep into a sea of uncertanty
I was Wrapped up in a dream,
Relations seemed to be something I had yet to feel in a while
A distance in between not emotions but miles
Years of built up blockades eroding at a rapid rate
Resesitating my ability to trust another mate
Her words that seemed strong as oak had me hanging on by a rope
Lured me in with a sweet false hope
So I poured my heart and her response was to choke
Pokin at the fact that Im the one who has to cope
Little did she know it was more than my heart that just broke
Now Ive lost it, trying to proccess these lies are making me naceous
Next time be more cautious my mother said,
Its becoming a grind to deal with these losses again
And even though I feel as If I fell apart and landed flat on my face
God showed me I hit the ball out of the park and now were winning the race

Premium Member The Night Date

'Twas the night before Christmas and I was waiting for a blind date
He never showed, I decided to leave as it was getting very late
I downed my wine and quickly ate the burger left cold on my plate
I started choking on the burger, now feeling panicked and faint

Suddenly, I was grabbed from behind in a heimlich lifesaving embrace
Feeling both embarrassed and grateful, I was flushed red in the face
I turned to thank him and noticed he was dressed in a sexy elf suit
He said he was delayed by work, I blushed, he was incredibly cute

He asked if I’ve been waiting long for my blind date to arrive
then invited me along his ride tonight to get away from this dive
Parked outside, there was a huge golden sleigh full of Christmas gifts
He said it was his ride as he was stuck working late checking his lists

I climbed into the sleigh, the seat felt velvety warm and comfortable too
He said, “hold on to your seat, I have an adventure date instore for you”
We glided along the night sky as I helped him deliver all the Christmas gifts
He thanked me for helping, now I knew that Santa’s sleigh is not a myth

He then landed and parked the sleigh at a charming gingerbread house
And told me he has been staying with his family since losing his spouse
To my surprise, at the door there stood Santa, all jolly, drinking some cheer
He thanked me for helping, and said, “welcome to the Kringle family, my dear!”

Premium Member The Geranium

Her soft pink petals are invitingly fresh and bright
Next to many others displayed in colors that delight
She sits and patiently awaits on greenhouse shelves
And prays she is soon chosen, as her heart swells

She smiles as the morning sunlight warms the air
As her earthy scent wafts and attracts with flair
Her magenta blooms are lightly covered in mist
Her petals stir, welcoming the moist dew kiss

She hopes the sweet geranium lady will soon be here
Then soon hears her voice as she's getting near
Her petals whimsically gleam as her growing stems invite
As she sits attentively waiting, feeling proud and sprite

She feels her pot lifted from the crowded greenhouse floor
Delighted she was chosen and excited for what's instore
Her feet are now planted at her new home in a beautiful pot
Displayed amongst her blooming friends in a bright cool spot

She smiles as the morning breeze tickles her new blooms
And her sweet lady admires her beauty and fresh perfumes
She vows to zealously grow, with her petals blooming strong
In hopes her blooms deliver delightful gifts all summer long

Tribute To Max

When you came into this world I was there to pick you up.
To get you started on your long but short life.
We grew together to become friends ,pals, companions.
You where there for me when times were tough.
There for the sad times, the happy times, sorrow and joyful times.
We traveled the country seeing new things, places and people.
We knew what each other wanted by the actions and looks we gave.
Coming home was an adventure, meeting you knowing what was instore
the affection you gave.
Then the times of horseplay, and of the love you gave to make me feel wanted.
To protect your little Diva like no one else could. To let her do what she
 wanted never to hurt her.
To watch you go was a dreadful, hurtful thing, a sorrow that I will not
soon forget. but to be there as you go to heaven.
To hold you as you took your last breath, lying there as asleep to never again
awake.
May God protect you til I see you again. To call your name then you run to me
knowing we will be together forever and more.
I greatly miss you MAX.
On this day of my birth Dec. 6th you are with the Lord in heaven.
A tribute to my dog MAX.

Old Chistmas Cards

Christmas was over
the cold winter winds
blew and blew
the sadness grew.

Mother had passed
A time dreaded for
ever so long.
I tried ever so hard
to be strong.

I walked into her home
where she once gathered
her most precious belongings
Wher my small bare foot steps
did once roam.

Though safe within it's walls
her belongings just
collected much dust.
It was a place I
had once learned
to trust.

Now she's gone
who will treasure
these dusty dirty things.

No where to be found
gems or diamond
or saphire rings.

I gazed around
where oh where,
do I start first.
Then into tears
I encontrollably burst.

I first approached
a tall brown dresser
mirror intact,
while polish it lacked.

I pulled open
the small drawers
I was amazed to see
many and many
old candy boxes
and handkerchifs three.

The first, a stack
get well and
old christmas cards
in tied tightly
wrapped ever so neatly.

What on earth
was she thinking
I blurted.
My most swift thoughts
came outwardly leaking.

Then I opened another
dusty dreawer to find
a smaller gold and red box.
Could it hold a diamon ring
I gasped as I
slowly opened it.
My thought did sing.

There, another
whole section
of old cards
among another green
and yellow box.

My memory burst
I'd received these
from family
when I had chicken pox.

There was one from
my maw, another from
Aunt ada, and Uncle harry.

Even one from my classmates
with the one on top from
the cute boy named Larry.

Then I strumed the
cards as a guitar
playing an familiar
old song. So many
I recogonized.
The names
were of many
persons lost
family member or even
a departed decesed friend.

I suddenly knew
just what she
had been thinking
With each card
each broken vase
a sad or happy memory
no one ever could repace.

She'd tucked away
each for obsurvance
for a future a rainy day.

I knew what she
of my life
now a missing part.

She safely kept
each memory
she held once in her heart
tied as neatly there,
as the old cards
in the lovely red candy
box All kept instore.

Each she kept snuggly
in her dresser drawer
I held them now my heart
And sit along where she too
once searched for
old memories, to recall once more.

How God Can Heal a Broken Heart

In life we may face toils and snares
but in every situation God will be with us there
they say time heals but this is not always true
especially if the trauma was severe for you
I learned God is with me his word is real and true
it brings comfort and the promises pull me through
trauma broke my heart and after many years I still feel pain there
but I remember the promise that God is with us everywhere
when people you trust leave you with out a single word
the grief stays with you and goodbye seems the last words you heard
time passes the pain grows deep
but we find comfort when its God we seek
life has been traumatic and heartache never seems to end
but I hold on to the promise that God is always our friend
even when I feel alone and I feel I need something more
I know deep down his plan has better things for me instore
so after 40 years of a broken heart life must go on
I can never give up never throw the towel in
for with God every battle he will win
when you feel your mind is being tortured every day
holding on to Gods promises helps you on your way
it keeps your sanity and stops you loosing your mind
God promises strength and a sound mind
he promises we wont break
and our hearts he will re make sometimes a broken heart takes a long time to heal
hold on to Gods promises and the comfort they bring
healing our hearts and lifting us up on eagles wings. Amen

Believe and Have Faith

We all go through the testing of fire
Knowing the devil is a lair
Yet we seek and try to inspire

Hurting deep within
A heart broken and deformed
From sin and all wrong

But now I'm transformed
I've taken the fall
But now I stand tall
I say today no more

For Jesus he is God!
Without asking why?
He came and restored my life
From hurt and pain,
Sorrow and grief,

No more darkness I see
For light shine in me
New air I breathe I say

''THANK YOU JESUS I AM FREE!''

No one else will do for me
But I must believe with all in me
And praise your name for you have died to set me free Without looking back or thinking twice you gave your life
Your Blood has flown for thousands of souls

You mold what has been deformed
Ripped apart and torn
Like a new born baby
Coming into this world
With your plans for our lives
As we walk in christ

With much more instore

Jesus Christ My Saviour ain't a fake its what you make
Believe and have faith

FOR GOD HE IS GREAT!

Set Me Free

Set me free
Is it more to ask for?

I breathe to live
I eat to survive
I spend the day doing all the above myself...
Then why do I need someone to control my actions?
Why this irony ??

Set me free
Is it more to ask for?

I'm a cactus in the dark
I'm a fish in a dry well
I'm a mismatch to the plot....
A chance I deserve to know myself_
Time that I need to spend with myself_
At a place where I'm not questioned
But be a boss of my own_
Live with the people that are my favourite....

Set me free
Is it more to ask for?

No clue what coming years have instore
People closest have moved far more.
Opportunity I was done away with,
To show my love to them
Their value to me.

Pray for a miracle to happen_
Where I live a real world that now, seems a fantasy.
Live a life that looks rookie from far,
But really is rosy....
Coz I will be with my people.....My happy world !

Set me free
Is it seriously more to ask for ???........

Search Me Naked

I’m always poorly
be dead before forty
As the doctors surely
diagnose before curing

and that is hard work
as they forever search
me naked like a perv
as their fingers insert

in their protective overalls
they flip me once more
still wearing bugger all
they play with my balls

touching me here
touching me there
touching my rear
touching my pair

at least the doctors a woman
oh dear I'm wooden
drunk when it wouldn't
now when it shouldn't

then sounds from the woodwork
where old friends lurk
with their amazing nerve
I thought I was a jerk

and it's slowly dawning
I might be no more
for some quite daunting
as they know for sure

a haunting's instore
