Muted Blue

I'll hold this place for her loving faintly-
fragile, and tepid outer layer veils so thinly
a gorgeous core shining bright and quietly
  Her eyes say more
    than lips betraying her thoughts
 as they swirl to intriguing depth.
 I dive, plunge deeply-secretly
   wading in thought's waters
     loving the expanded borders
        hidden beyond your rippled surface.
As birds singing, primp their rehearsed tune,
your diamond shines reluctant
from realities igneous tomb

I wan't to know the words she's trapped in blue
fluttering chests locked tightly when nervous
posture tells of something more.
Hushed often before, and muted now conditioned
to repress your heart...it's hard to breathe
as you selfconsciously hold your breath

Move those lips to mine
  and whisper each trapped caption
    your mind froze but never lost,
open the soul to feeling once more
like blood reddening air exposure
freeing the absence of feeling
...replaced with this tuned in euphoria
     blaring melodies warm and familiar to our ears

Personification of the Elements – 9-1-23
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
The Elementals
Frigid currents gather stirring
Mists to rain hail in fists of fire and ice
From fractured magma stone eruptions
Crust and fire collide
In melted tornados
In hollows where minerals hitchhike
Into purple ruby hazes
Igneous bursts into fevered conundrums
Where four elementals convene
In cryptic crystals, intoxicated by emerald,
Fused laughing enigmas,
Shedding molten aqua teardrops,
Where fire and fury reside
Imprisoned in liquid stone,
Sparkling matrix thunders,
Compressed grit in animations
Of clear-cut brilliance
The Elementals speak
In captured eternal flames,
Water, stone and breath.
There Winter Lonely Fallows Deeply Dream
Long after that ripe golden sunset gleam
Cool silvery tones, wavering light;
Then winter lonely fallows deeply dream
Into the grayish ghostliness of night.
Far off, yet looming bold and strangely near,
Within starry heavens they are aureoled,
Forested mountain-ranges far westward rear
Their high guardian towers as of old.
And lo! above their ancient stormy deeps,
In pensive grandeur, icy frozen browed,
One glorious forest summit there keeps
Transcendent vigil alone, pure and proud.
And we who see that shining symbol turn
A moment's while from its lone transient mood;
From that brief moment we clearly discern
Our lost souls within Nature's solitude.
I sit and pause, looking at the sky blue ceiling above me. White vapour cotton wool clouds
gently float like water lilies on an upside down pond. My humble seat, an igneous rock
from the Devonian period. A glaciation past has moulded this comfort to rest this weary
climber. I am in fortunate delight as this skyscraper of old can turn nasty with nature.
These marvels can unite and lure unsuspected hikers, and draw them into a weather world
they have never known. The gulley's and faces of this quite wonderful Munro hide
challenges and dangers for all who dare climb. Many have been lost as they become
disorientated, as natures weather closes in.
The ascent route to the summit on a day like today is quite wonderful. The beauty of the
glens, with their sporadic mix of andesite and basaltic lava mountains, rival many a range
on our fine planet. Many colours explode on the surrounding canvas. Greens and beige's,
greys mingling with red granite masses. Screes are in evidence, a sign of the range ageing
as natures seasons take their toll. Plant life carpets the slopes, where grasses of sorts
mingle with the purple and white heather. Ferns from a prehistoric age fan out catching
the breeze, like Sea´ ferns´ in the ocean.
As i climbed, at various intervals i would close my eyes and listen to the calls of the
wild. The sporadic bleating of sheep, as if echoing through the glens. Crows and their
hooded cousins fly sorties looking for carrion of such. Suddenly they scatter, as royalty
makes a welcomed appearance. As majestic as the King of the mountains can be, a Golden
Eagle glides on the thermals. His subjects looking on from a distance, for fear of
angering him. Rabbits, lizards and even sheep and lambs, bow down in whatever chambers of
safety allows them. As graceful as he arrived, he leaves. Slowly but slowly, the lookouts
of the species declare their haven a safe zone.
This climb has certainly given me a thirst, as the thinned mountain air leaves me tired.
Nearby a small stream offers a weary climber a much needed tonic. This pure fresh
translucent chemical substance quenches my crave, with a gentle splash over my sun beaten
face, i feel refreshed to a point.
Shun Spots
Hot zones of danger,
dark places
where dense hearts go
Hearts that are cold as ice
Roll the dice ...
take a chance on fatal corona exploration
Go ghetto orbital
and gamble with your porcelain life
You’ve been whitely warned:
Shun the spots —
the darkside of the Helios shadows,
where the sun don’t golden glow
It’s best to yield to your coin conscience;
the fade-to-black pulse
of the societal dusk, dimming yellow
Go colonial orbital,
where the cloudless reign
of oppression is rife
And the gravity of poverty
is sol cranial heavy
Irradiated cries cuts through
the poisoned atmosphere of hatred
like a serrated knife
You’ve been white noise warned:
Danger!
Avoid the riotous flares of destruction ...
hot spots,
where obstruction of justice flow
Shun the leper spots
of the volatile igneous rock dimming yellow
Those event horizon spaces —
ephemeral stardust places
that were polarity flux created not to burn slow
At Trickling's End
As winter brings shortened light,
as famine delivers harvest blight
So does violence yield premature burial gain,
scarlet tears of Noah’s premonition rain
Crimson tidal force,
deluge of cursed, wolf bane rage
Crescent moon dreadfully presage
a permanent lunar retrograde
On the dark side of the bosom,
sunspot thoughts flow terminally so, err bottomless
Feral feelings blindly comes from
malevolent eruptions,
igneous fears reflect opaque tears of hardened glass
Eclipse hearts
cast an angry downpour —
What does the ill-temper tempest send?
Underbelly hourglass
receives not
another vex overturn at trickling’s end
Rejoice, rejoice
ye peaceful pilgrims
of quantum hope certainty
The celestial sands of tranquility
will soon pour infinitely
As the last Revolution spins
identical change,
the mammon thirst for power
remains the same
Punctuated by perforated voices,
whose hateful noise
stains the grain
Inter the Cold
Fortress of peace ...
dark entrance
Graduated depths,
steps icy
No more emotional eruptions
just volcanic slumber —
Something inside has died
Quiet brood ...
at what price came this cursed silent relief?
Left with only a lonely penance,
seems the calculations weren’t heartfelt
Wavy shadow movements increase
Flickering regret moments,
tears dripping ... briefly melting Arctic attitudes
Aurora nightfall gives illuminated rest,
as smouldering rage slowly cease
Wind whispers listen at a frosty distance,
creating such tranquil space
Gathering calm
beckons a cavern catacomb soul to go
where another rappel elevated heart went
Open mountain air   ...   no secret crevices
for the solitude to hide
Inter the cold,
and let the cooling revive
Let the northern exposure erase
all of the igneous pain
As the buried passion escape ...
feel the snow peak
kindled heat,
and watch the bonding of the flames
borealis rise
Premium Member Peace On Earth
When all squabbles and wars shall cease
As for the complete world, we will create peace
Individuals ought to be more socially adept,
not scolding one another for being incorrect.
Contemplation involves ample guidance,
and eradicates our pretentious contrivance
We might also switch the soul's floodgate
Recognizing that we harvest what we create.
War arises as a struggle for power and land
People at times just need a helping hand
Avoid self-interest and under-mount sinks,
And pleading for humanity to peace winks.
Kindred children are resilient and vitreous
Loss of candor led them to become igneous
We might limit our focus to pursuing peace,
Our voice ought to reflect love, not decease.
My spiritual self serves as my divine guide,
Seeking understanding is a process inside
I buried my treasured self hidden within,
where it will be safe against earthly sin.
I place my trust and faith in the Lord above,
Who has convinced me of the eternity of love?
and perseverance that leaves doubts behind,
I aim to induce peace by myself, but inside.
We should all aspire to coexist in peace,
People suffer when there is such a decrease
because it is profoundly ingrained inside,
With our peace, we are inextricably tied.
Premium Member Journey to the End
Follow the winds of the Harpies.
Follow to the sigh of last breath.
Horrid hounds of Zeus beckoning
for you to embrace your dark death.
Follow the heights of Icarus
Follow till the blazes burn out.
Sol, a dragon's igneous mouth
gaping, awaiting chance to spout.
Follow to the depths of Phorcys
Follow till you whiff your last gasp.
Dangers of the depth await you.
Life quickly slipping from your grasp.
Follow clamant drums of Ares.
Follow till your ears hear no more.
War exacts an egregious toll.
Life ends in a sorrowful roar.
Blue diaphane, tobacco smoke
 Serpentine on wet film and wood glaze,
 Mutes chrome, wreathes velvet drapes,
Dims the cave of mirrors.
Ghost fingers
 Comb seaweed hair, stroke acquamarine veins
 Of marooned mariners, captives
Of Circe's sultry notes.
 The barman
 Dispenses igneous potions ?
Somnabulist, the band plays on.
 Cocktail mixer, silvery fish
 Dances for limpet clients.
Applause is steeped in lassitude,
Tangled in webs of lovers' whispers
 And artful eyelash of the androgynous.
 The hovering notes caress the night
Mellowed deep indigo ?still they play.
 Departures linger.
 Absences do not
Deplete the tavern.
 They hang over the haze
 As exhalations from receded shores.
 Soon
, Night repossesses the silence, but till dawn
 The notes hold sway, smoky
 Epiphanies, possessive of the hours.
 This music's plaint forgives, redeems
The deafness of the world.
 Night turns
Homewards, sheathed in notes of solace, pleats
 The broken silence of the heart.
Igneous Rock
Sedimentary and metamorphic rock
From earths mantle or crust
Host of tungsten granites and diorites
Intrusive extrusive and hypabyssal
Of batholths sills and dikes
Eruptions of subaerial volcanoes
Continental crust
A pacific ring of fire
4030 million years old
Petrology, geology, call it what you may
Minerals of many are around us every day
Igneous, sedimentary, metamorphic are the main
Their seams grace our planet, they are her veins
The next time you walk your streets, take a look around
For many rocks and stones, are everywhere to be found
Where would we be without them, many structures would never be here
If it wasn't for many millions of years, and this beautiful earthly sphere
Chemical Compounds
A Chemical Compound
in an orderly manner.
They're found on the ground,
classified by a scanner.
An outcrop in Costa-Rica -
many of these contain Silica.
Some are even Volcanic-
explosions are quite manic.
Its just like Me and You!
Special, Unique and some blue.
Igneous, Sedimentary, Metamorphic too-
I've heard that before, like de-ja vu!
It is Sharp or Smooth,
It is like a Bone,
It can be found in a Booth,
But what really is STONE?
Kjos
The colors in your sweater
do not grow here
but bloom without regard
in the mirror of your cheeks
We ran with arching strides
through seas of igneous poetry
written for our electric white lashes
Our layers of sturdy bone
And yes, there were times
we nearly escaped the snap of the metallic sky
the same confessor
behind matronly curtained hills
the only words to tie me here
are the mouthful that rattle my cup
yet I can always paint myself
miles deep beneath this anchor
