Don'T Fall...

The love, the unfathomable for me.
Peeking through glass, from the
phone line I gain feeling.

So long deprived and, suddenly
inundated. There is beauty in the
clouds again just from words you
are saying.

The dark and the drab, clear up to
light. The hole in my soul miraculously
made right.

Loneliness and isolation, will it possibly
leave? All my hopes and dreams may startling
come to be.

Oh love, out of darkness you bring luminosity,
so long this dark road tread, so nearly
losing my sanity.

I don’t exaggerate when I speak of my near
losing of me. It’s just being alone so long and,
we’re not meant to be solitary.

For the Lord said,” for companionship we are
made,” and it seems I’ve achieved his blessing,
for the angel of you has been brought my way.

If I am to assuming in the way I feel, all I know is ,
'it’s better to have loved and lost', than to take the
chance of losing a dream.

So I pray for you patience and, you’ll always
have my eternal gratitude, for if and when darkness
falls, I’m sure I’ll always love you..
Thank you.

I Picked Up a Marble

I was walking a dark path
Among black trees
Time always running
Careless and mysterious

I was running, towards nowhere,
Without meaning, without will
I flew and fell again and again
Over a dark and invisible ravine

Then, I picked up a marble
A translucent colored glass
I gazed unwittingly through it
Unable to close my eye

A sensation, new and unknown
A different world
Went straight through the marble
Was it just confusion?

But suddenly black became white
Impossible became possible
A pale smile appeared.
A flame of hope was born.

This Is Who I Am

This is who I am
This is who I’m meant to be
I’ve been wandering, in the dark so long
Now I’ve found my place, I can do no wrong
This is who I am
Not who I was
I’m telling you this
So you know, because
I’ve waited forever
To be myself

Didn’t want to be forgotten
And left on the shelf
Don’t want to be lonely
But now I have my own me
No longer a memory
I’m out of the dark and I can see

I’m not, afraid
I’m not hiding anymore
Not scared like before
I have, my scars
They mark us all
But help us up when we fall

This is who I am
This is who I’m meant to be
Every time a bone breaks
We grow stronger in its place
This is who I am
Not who I was
I didn’t need your help
I needed your love

Man On the Holy Mountain

From the top of the mountain, so high
he sits and watches, his children play
he closes his eyes, and he cry's
Through the silver clouds of heaven,
rain begins to fall, washing his children
the lan runs red, turning dust to clay
The winds begin to howl, with a voice of sorrow
as a father mourns, the loss of his child
the man looked up, toward the heavens
he spoke softly, but they are my children!
with that the sun and the moon moved together,
melting into one.
The clouds grew dark and began to rumble
the stars exploded into a brilliant blue,
while falling from their place in the sky
striking the ground with such force,
as to make the mountains quake
The children no longer played, they ran with fear
but it was too late, there was no place to hide!
Multitudes of warring angels, covered the day-night sky
lighting their way with swords, made from the eyes of,
captured demons.
Watching as the iron clad angels, swooped down upon
the children, grabbing them up, devouring them whole.
The man on the holy mountain, pleaded!
But the lord god said"NO"
we must cleanse this sinful playground
destroy the rotten flesh, plant new seeds of love
and forgiveness in this dark world!
They smiled, as all went black!!!!

She Felt the Breath of God

In this religious war,
demons thought humans were weak,
frail, defenseless, meek,
but they learned the hard way,
humans would defend themselves in every way.
The dark demon had ruthlessly stripped
a female human of her dignity,
hoping she would talk and feel the pity,
she was subjected to hideous torture,
she cried not knowing what to expect,
death crept,
rain came,
and produced a strange sensation,
she was impressive,
she had enormous strength,
she felt the breath of God fill her soul,
as the torture was taking its toll,
unable to gather information, the dark demon was defeated,
deflated, and time wasted, repeatedly,
she died for humanity,
the dark demon felt the insanity,
she died a hero,
the dark demon sighed,
tried, cried,
he thought he’d get the human female to talk,
he chopped her legs off so she couldn’t walk,
everything he needed to drive her insane,
but when the rain came,
he had lost,
to a human who never had the ability to disregard pain.
