Going To Hell In a HandbasketWhen you see me
Covered and bare
With septic soot -
Sores that began
With Satan’s hoofs.
The ones that trounced
Upon our graves
With subtle lies,
Agenda craze.
Bring all your poor
Through open doors.

We hid our scales
And common sense.

With tents and tense.
