Mindfull of a parallel sequence
we seem to function light between
thought and hurt hoping for
easy advancement up the channel steps--
pecarious invoking with someone who
knows--- and not knows inescapable from
ourselves compliant (fraud) if need not be.
Backwash of hidden intermittent terrors preclude
external sensitivities---like my aching back
heat waves of generalized dizziness and
gender--izing. The sweet bird of youth
never suffers a jet lag stupor as we enjoy
and (softly) murmur the last rungs in a
flaccid present tense loss of self faculty.
But the nevertheless picture of realitivity
lends a jargon journal future sometimes
nameless but (at least) omnidirectional
happenstance.

Osteoporosis, spinal stenosis
halitosis, that's the grossest
Hemorrhoids, hypo hyper thyroids
gallbladder removal will leave a void
Arthritis, pyelonephritis, gingivitis
we will survive in spite of these
Toe fungus will not be the death of us
its' cure you will ask what was all the fuss
Crooked toes, snotty nose, itchy down below
Pancreatitis, gastroenteritis, myocarditis
cannot frighten us, though impotence might
and possibly to a womans' delight
on not
Torn rotator cuff, oral cancer from rubbing snuff
COPD will make you huff and puff
Diminished brain, malfunctioning drains
generalized aches and pains
of these we are not deprived
BUT, it's still awesome to be alive

I am a psychology major in school,
I think it is pretty cool.
I can read people like words on a page.
When people smile at me, I can see their rage.
Some say my talents are fake and absurd,
I promise they are not, I can hear the unheard.
I developed this skill as a boy, and it I could not avoid.
In middle school I didn't play with a toy, instead, I read Freud.
I see it as a cursed gift,
I see a person and judge them swift.
A nail biter has generalized anxiety,
because we put too much pressure on them in society.
I am not an optimist,
nor am I a pessimist.
I don't get this half full or empty bit,
I see a glass that has water in it.
Every person's hand that I shake,
I can tell if they are true or fake.
A frat boy acts out in class and gets a suspension,
When he was younger, his father paid him no attention.
In a session, a person asks, “why do I do this?”
then they talk more, as I look into their dark abyss.
Not everyone I talk to is clinically insane,
Their mood is like the moon, it waxes and wanes.
I see things you can't see in plain sight,
the scary part is, I am almost always right.
This is not something that can be learned,
In my DNA at birth, it was burned.
I can have a conversation with a complete stranger,
I just look in their eyes and can tell if I'm in danger.
A small, frail looking boy, I examined with a computer,
I examined him, because he was a school shooter.
I can talk to you and look in your eyes,
then tell you that I saw your lies.
If you don't believe me, lets place a wager,
I promise you will lose to this psychology major.

O.K., let’s see where you are with your math,
Which areas do we need to work through.
Algebra, space, number, or measurement,
Which topic do you need to review?
Today, algebra, a fantastically obtuse idea,
Instead of numbers, use letters, counting the ABC’s.
By the end of this tutorial you’ll love these letters,
Counting everything with ease.
Words like simplify, expand, and collect like terms,
Will become your new second diction.
Don’t use these letters like in tedious essays,
Nor like when expressing your poetic fiction.
Algebra strives to abbreviate everything,
Every single concept’s to be generalized.
It establishes an effective working formula,
Making it all neat, sleek, tidy, and stylized.
But don’t ask me who uses this at work,
Laborers, builders or for financial investments.
Just make sure you use it next Monday morning,
When you’re sitting your math exam assessments.

There are many wonders that cloud the world
Notable among them are the ultimate sevens
You and I have heard about
(I believe this century is yet to discover
all the world wonders,
and again is not all of these famous sevens
we've all visited.)
These sevens
Form both the broad wonders of the world.
These illustrious sevens are odd havens
That make people world over
Paid homage to each of their host soil.
Day in, day out
People tour around
These earthy heavens.
Just like Mecca, Medina and Jerusalem,
The old and new wonders of the world
Serve as assets to their host kingdom.
They make their host land
Famous across the globe.
They garnish their boniface with
Flying wealth across the land,
And swimming priceless
Across the unified ocean.
I hope I will not be penalized to have generalized my findings. I
think writing generally about where I've visited via research is the best.

Doc Holliday truly amazing
Sick to death and two six guns blazing
Though his blasting appeared not to be phasing
The calmness of his gelding equine’s grazing
This be the glory, how the west was won
By house of ill repute, and the six gun
Plenty of action, was never boring
Funeral parlors, were businesses soaring
Stank of many bodies in pine boxes
All human life was generalized poxy
In the west, principle way of the law
Generally how fast every man could draw
These early days were quite chaotic
Wyatt Earp’s moves were a bit methodic
The saloons were filled with poker tables
And many big bosoms of dance hall mabels
Indians drank of white man’s fire waters
Sheep herders were known as only free squatters
The winning of the west, was quite a quest
Reservations put Indians to the test
America has it’s many stories
How our west was won by many glories
So greatly was the west romanticized
We wonder how much was only lies
Well documentation of westward truths
Or documentation of many human spoofs
Maybe fraudulent claims, as was the hog leg’s aim
We accept no blame, but we’ll take the fame

Our beauty is hidden in our words!

Political Verse
As kids we're asked
What we want to be when we grow up
And whatever the answer -
That's our goal.
Our dream.
It's a promise
That we will succeed.
Only.
As we age,
we slowly come to the realization
That they lied to us.
That they took that promise
And with their money
And their war
And
Their greed
They broke it.
They took a future from us
And even when we know
When we speak up,
They reflect it back onto us.
Tell us how they managed to succeed
In a world so much different
Than what they passed down to us.
In a world where the earth didn't cry.
Where money wasn't worth less
Where the minimum earning
Could serve a family of three.
Where the cost of an education
Could be earned during
A short summers work.
Those who gave us hope
Now yell accusations at us -
We're lazy!
We want pass outs!
We aren't willing to work for anything!
Only -
We're working two to three jobs,
Eighty hours a week,
While we're in school,
Learning to be this thing -
This dream
we've had all our lives.
We're in debt because we
Wanted to learn
Because
We had to learn.
Because if we didn't
Delve into a game of massive debt
We'd be out of it -
The game,
The promise.
But even our debt is
A force of debate
Because it's not necessary.
We could have gone straight to work
But that's what we did
We work
And we learn
And we work
Because that's all we can do
It's not even what we love,
Not the dream.
Because the dream won't sustain
A healthy life.
We are a generation
Of generalized anxiety
And all we want
Is to make the world better
To fix what's been broken
But those who came before us
They laugh in our faces
Because this world
Wasn't meant for their promise.
They never intended
Our success.

I believe the roots of love differ,
Between men and women from the start.
Though while generalized and inexact,
The fruits yield a common harvest to the heart.
With men it seems physical attraction is
Needed, to arouse his predatory pursuit.
While the woman must admire and respect
Her suitor, beyond the visual tribute.
Often times when these are lacking,
Any love once built becomes lost.
Whereas neglect may lay claim to the
Atrophy, only to be measured at great cost.
Humanities culture compels this recipe, while
Some seasonings add variety to the meal.
Yet regardless of the male/female interaction,
The family of mankind will survive . . .
And spin the wheel.

Preposterous Poem of the Day
While working on poem he wanted to write
Of subject about so suddenly lost sight
Soon started searching for another one
To use until new poem was finally done.
People reading his poems were not amused
Because all of his subjects were overused
Worn out, worked over and becoming trite
And of each poem's fact they had lost sight.
Horn then completely changed subject instead
And after his poem has been completely read
He generalized and was no longer meticulous
Each subject he used seemed totally ridiculous.
Not only that was found after further review
Subjects were completely insane and untrue
Way had been was indicative of irresponsible
And itemized it was completely impossible.
By anyone his poems could not be understood
Were outright outrageous, nonsensical and no good
He took each trying poem and then threw it away
Poetry Soup calls them Preposterous Poem of the Day.

The term "heavy metal" was coined to describe the loud, driving, guitar-based music popularized in the late 1960s. Over the years, bands have added new connotations to the term. A group called Black Sabbath combined heavy-metal music with occult symbols and odes to the Devil. A few years later, a band named KISS set new standards for outlandish makeup and lewd lyrics.
More recently, groups like Mötley Crüe, Ratt, and Twisted Sister have taken themes of generalized rage, sexual abandon, drug abuse, violence, and despair into the homes of millions of young record buyers. Billboard magazine reported that of the 59 albums certified platinum (signifying 1 million copies sold) last year, 10 were in the heavy-metal category. That figure is up from 5 in 1983. With the growing appeal of heavy-metal music, the National Coalition on Television Violence has called attention to the destructive potential of music videos, many of which graphically depict violence and rebellion.
In contrast to those sinister influences, a new heavy-metal band is shattering the stereotypes. A four-member group called Stryper is adding a Christian dimension to heavy-metal music. The band's members—wearing costumes adorned with chains and metal studs—look like members of other popular heavy-metal groups. Stryper's latest album was released by the same record company that launched Mötley Crüe and Ratt. But that is where the similarities end.
The lyrics to Stryper's songs, and the band's on-stage performance, distance it from its secular counterparts. During concerts, the four-man band throws Bibles into the audience. In a song called "From Wrong to Right," Stryper sings: "So ...

I began to look around at my world
I tried to remember to keep it all in perspective
But...
My inner vision kept me running from the structures
At hand
The money the war the strife the blank faces the desperation the lack of regard
Has kept me in the generalized vortex created by the seemingly slow and the weak
It's very hard to avoid
I tried to keep these things so far from my family and myself
A force field of the strongest magnitude to encircle and to protect us
Through the nonsense
It's very hard to do
The ghosts at 3 am strike the outer electrons with vigor
Waking me with the strangeness of an unannounced visitor
The plants are vibrating in all directions
Shedding their chlorophyl onto my freshly painted flowers
The penumbra of their shadows
Deftly mixes with the fringes of my imagination
Is this sleep
Or have I inadvertently entered the realm of another
Constant dimension
The coyotes are alive down at the river's edge
Calling out with the sound reminescent of a howling woman
Tonight I will fight the urge to sleep
Until I have come to grips with my personal nemesis
Myself

You see a car and you instantly think
She’s young, She’s cute. She’s blonde. She’s perky.
She’s a smiler. She has perfect nails.
Then you catch up.
She is a he.
About eighty.
Struggling to see.
You see a truck and you instantly think
He’s the boss. He has little cowboys. He is rugged.
Then you catch up and she’s a junk yard dog,
The inside looks like the home of a hoarder
She is dropping cigarette ashes out the window.
You are amazed at how wrong you are.
Even traffic
